So far its been a nice printer. Easy set up and the ink should last versus using a tiny expensive cartridge. .that's my reason for purchasing large ink tanks and affordable ink!

This printer was sent to replace a n ET-2500, it prints faster than the 2500. My only complaint is there was no return shipping label sent with the 2600 so I could return the 2500 to Epson

Description said Wi-fi. Apparently that is different from AirPrint. Very disappointed can’t print from phone without going through 3 or 4 steps. Loved my 2550. Wished I still had it.

I have purchased the printer for several of offices and the saving in ink along is the key to this new technology.

Very difficult set-up, and I'm no novice. I've had it a bit more than a month and have had to download software twice because the drivers for the scanner must be deficient. Hopefully there will be an update or firmware. Printer goes offline if not used for just a couple days. Have to reboot printer almost every time it's used. Computer cannot find scanner more than once.

I've owned Epson printers for at least the last ten years. I seem to wear them out, use often. But I tried others and none compare to an Epson. I believe this one with the ecotank is by far the best value. You should put this feature on more.

I only used the printer for about one month but it's holding up well. Photos are printed slow but look great.

Printer is really good but my problem is that I cant get it to print thru Apple AirPrint. Have tried everything but no luck. Apple says its Epson. Epson says its Apple. Big inconvenience.

I am already the owner of one Epson printer. The ET-3600. My overall experience with that printer has led me to try the ET-2600. In all honesty, I have tended to stay away from Epson printers for several years due to what I believed was an expensive brand with hard to find printer cartridges. That has all changed with this new feature called EcoTank. This feature allows you to just purchase the ink and fill up the tanks on the side of the printer. What is nice about this is that it lasts. No more constantly swapping out ink cartridge. Even better, you know for sure that you are low on ink. Just take a look at the tank on the side. Try doing that with an ink cartridge. The ET-2600 is easy to setup, easy to use, reliable, and does a wonderful job of printing and scanning. The printer is quickly recognized by Windows and automatically configured. Same can be said for smartphones. iPhones, iPad, and Androids. Not a lot of software overhead with long installs. The scanner does an excellent job and it is fairly quick on scans. The print quality is excellent. The photo quality is very good. The printer is also wireless and it's range is fantastic. It can also be setup to printer via the internet. I have many times printed letters, spreadsheets, and pictures 300 miles away using my laptop and smartphone. I am pleased with this printer and it's features. I have found it to be low maintenance. It's size is fairly compact so it does not require much space. I highly recommend this printer to any one that is tired of costly ink cartridges that seem to always run low and normally at the worst possible time. With this printer you always know, without a doubt, how much ink you have left. If you have kids that are students, this printer will get that job done too.

I have spent the last 4 hours trying to connect this new printer to my wifi. My old printer connected in 5 minutes!!! really feel like throwing this out, it is so frustrating. a complete waste of money. It is no use to me without a working wifi.

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This printer is AWESOME. Yes, the setup is a bit cumbersome but once the WiFi is set up it's flawless. It doesn't do annoying alignment procedures or overuse ink. It prints fairly quickly and in excellent quality for a printer. The ink reservoirs are engineered to perfection. He reminds me of using eight bottles from when I was a kid to fill up our old printer, needless to say, is nostalgia with a modern twist and I just love it. You can even use free Epson software to print from your phone if you like. There's a huge upside to this printer and the only real downside I've found is the setup process. The cable (not included with printer) is the same as any other printer cable and doesn't require a special, proprietary connection. I'd gladly recommend this printer to anyone--unless you're looking for an expensive, high-speed, photo printer.

Upon receiving this printer, I opened the box to find the printer was well packaged. The presentation was excellent for a printer within this price range. Once unpackaged, I begin the setup of the device. Using a MacOS Device without a CD-ROM, I preceded to download the software, as there is no way to configure the device on your network without it. I find this annoying for a printer that cost more than 200. The software was very straightforward and easy to install. As an IT Manager, I would feel comfortable providing this software to my user and allowing them to configure this printer in a home environment. After feeling the ink tanks, I do think the bottles provided can use some work. The top needs to be configured in a way that it snaps onto the ink reservoir to start the flow of ink and discontinue the flow when removed. Since I did not use the entire bottle to fill my reservoirs, it ended up being a bit of a messy situation. The 20 minutes to charge the system was annoying but not a showstopper for me. Once the setup is complete – The results from this printer were amazing… I found that it rivaled printers from my 400 buck OfficeJet Pro.. Overall, I’m highly impressed and would recommend this device to my friends. This printer has truly been an amazing product. I've been eyeing them for a while but have not needed a replacement, I was very wrong. Initial Thoughts: It comes with enough ink to last two years if you're an infrequent printer. I can only assume that that rating comes based on 5% page coverage. What I can tell you is that the bottles that come with it hold just as much liquid as the refill bottles for my HP T520. As usual, it does not come with a USB cable, and you'll need that to do initial setup. Once you install the software from epson.com you can connect the cable and tell it to connect via WiFi. The driver doesn't have a lot of frills, but what do you expect from a consumer printer? The only downside that I found with the driver is that it can't report the ink levels. This is very unfortunate since you have to keep looking at your printer to make sure you have enough ink for the print job you're about to send it. Quality: The build quality is typical for a high end consumer printer, made of plastic, buttons fill solid. The print quality was what really surprised me. I was able to use the printer for lab quality photos when using a high quality paper. I had no issues with the color reproduction. I even created a custom ICC profile and found that the default settings really weren't that far off. Print speed could be a little faster but I didn't expect laser printer speed from an inkjet. I haven't tried sublimation ink in the printer since I can't easily clean the tank/lines and it would probably void the warranty. Although, I see no reason that it wouldn't work for this unit since the jets are not heated. I've been very impressed thus far and look forward to many more prints. This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The printer was very easy to setup out of the box. If Epson has put a sticker on the front of the printer on how to activate Wi-Fi Protected Setup and charge the ink tanks I wouldn't have had to even open the quick start guide. Plenty of ink is included, and while I didn't spill any adding it I did push one of the containers hard and get a large ink bubble I sucked down with the bottle before it popped. I connected this printer first wirelessly to my router without using the included setup software. Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer for about two seconds, and when it flashes press the WPS button on your router. That simple. I've used the printer to make prints from both my Windows PC and iPhone. You must use the free Epson iPrint to use the printer, it is not AirPrint compatible. I did find the iPrint app to be very good, allowing me to print right from an iPhone, or scan from the printer to the phone. If you were an iPad only house with no computers this printer would work great. It does appear pictures printed directly from the phone are not as vibrant as those printed from a computer. Also, it doesn't appear to have a way in software to check the ink levels, you have to raise the printer's side door and visibly look.

This is an excellent printer that can print up to 4,500 black pages w/out buying more ink refills! It can copy, scan, color printing and the awesome EcoTank which will save me a lot of money and time. The box contains the driver CD, power cord, and ink bottles for each color. Very simple to load the ink but be very careful not to spill and make sure it goes in the tank correctly. It could get messy. After that, it's just running through the setup and then you're off and running. Great printing of grayscale and color documents. This is still ink but this is the greatest achievement in a long time! Very simple operation to scan and copy virtually anything that will fit into the printer. Easily print from your mobile device using Epson Connect. High color resolution produces great images. Very nice compact size that fits nicely on my desk. The ink is equivalent to 20 sets of ink cartridges! This will definitely help me to keep my costs down and not worry so much about printing too much or letting the kids print everything that they ever see! Great buy and will definitely recommend to my friends and family. I have been in the market for a new printer for a few months. I have never owned an Epson printer but decided to give this one a try as it met my needs. The printer seems to take up a little less desk space than my previous one because there is not a lot of “bulk” on back side of the printer. It easily connects to my Wi-Fi which gives me the ability to print from all of my wireless devices. The ink tanks are on the side so you can easily monitor the amount of ink you have left. I absolutely love that the printer holds a large amount of ink. The printer is very easy to maintain. The ink refills do not cost a lot of money. You just have to refill the ink containers. Ink can be replaced as needed. The print quality is perfect. I printed a couple pictures from my Epson printer as well as my older printer and there was not a difference in the quality. Two sided printing does require that you turn the paper and insert it back into the feed. A screen comes up on the computer and shows you how to turn the paper. There is no guesswork. I am very pleased with this product and will continue to try other Epson products. This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The eco-tank is amazing. Ink has gotten very expensive. I myself have found it has been cheaper to get a new printer than to buy new ink, this printer however is the solve to that issue. Over all this printer was pretty easy to set up. Filling the tanks was also very easy with no mess. The way the bottle is designed helps ensure this. Hooking up to the internet and setting up the wireless was also very painless. The setup program worked very well and made it extremely easy, Once the ink was charged I printed the test page. I sent pictures, text, used the email setup to send an email to it, used the app on my phone and challenged this printer with everything I could throw at it. Amazing. Quick, quiet, and no problems. I highly recommend this printer especially to those who print a lot! Very good printer for anyone who hates buying expensive ink!

This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This review is a result of my personal use and will offer an unbiased overview of both my positive and negative observations while setting up and using the Epson ET-2600. Starting with the setup, the first thing I noticed was how well compact the printer is. It has a much smaller footprint than the HP printer we had been using. The setup and connection to my iMac was relatively straightforward. I did have to connect the printer via a USB in order to initially get through the setup wizard, which was a bit of a setback because the printer does not come with a USB cable. This printer cannot be setup wirelessly. This was not a huge deal since we had a couple of USB cables in a box in the basement, but definitely something to be mindful of if you don’t have one, or will need to go searching for one. Filling the ink tanks should definitely be done with gloves on (as per the instructions), while the printer is sitting on a covered surface, and if you have such a space available- do it in a non-carpeted room. The first two ink bottles opened and went into the tanks uneventfully, but the 3rd bottle was pressurized somehow and managed to spray bright magenta colored ink onto our carpet. If I could do this part over again, I’d do the filling in the garage. Taking the recommended precautions like wearing gloves and covering the desk was not nearly enough. Once the printer was set up wirelessly and the ink was charged (I’m still not exactly sure what this does, but it takes about 15-20 minutes), the printer produced GREAT looking prints. The images and text were both clear and vivid. I don’t know that I have ever seem a home printer produce better looking pages. This, honestly was very impressive. To see the quality of print output and knowing how long the printer’s ink lasts, it was almost unbelievable. The Epson ET-2600 is both quick and reliable. Our HP randomly would just not print. We would wirelessly print and walk to the office to pick up the page & it just never printed sometimes. This Epson printed every time without fail & the quality of the print never failed me while I was testing this. As for the ET-2600s other features, I was not as impressed as I was with the printing capability. The print quality itself is great, and the long lasting Eco-Tank ink is amazing but the other features are a bit lacking. The biggest drawback I faced is the scanning capability. It is strictly a flatbed scanner. The need I usually have to scan multiple pages at once makes this printer downright unusable as an office scanner. I had to place a sheet face down on the scanner and scan one sheet at a time. This wouldn’t be that bothersome, except after talking to Epson tech support I was told that the buttons on the front of the printer can only be used to scan WHILE IT’S CONNECTED BY USB!?! If connected wirelessly, scans cannot be initiated at the printer. It has to be done using the scanning software on the computer. I am hoping tech support is wrong about this, but I haven’t found a work around, so it appears as though this is how it is intended to function. It’s like I was time warped back to 1996 with this printer’s scanning ability! With my HP, I could put 7 or 8 pages in a sheet feed scanner, hitting the scan button on the printer and walk to the computer a couple of minutes later and open the newly created PDF. With the ET-2600, I had to line up a sheet on the flatbed, walk to the computer in another room, hit scan, wait, walk back to the printer replace the page with sheet two, walk back to the computer, hit scan again, wait, walk back to the printer, replace sheet two with sheet three, walk back to the computer… you get the idea. What used to take two minutes now takes an eternity of back and forth. I get an extra 1600 steps on my fitbit though, which was a nice unexpected bonus.

This is a review for the Epson ET-2600 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I got to test out during the beta release of this product. I've had this printer for a week and have utilized it as my fundamental printer at home. It has been great thus far. Starting setup takes additional time than different printers because of the need to fill the ink tanks and after that charge the ink heads. This part takes around 30 minutes. The remote setup shouldn't take long either; I had to run up & down the stairs quite a few times to connect the printer to Wi-Fi. With everything taken into consideration, from removing the printer from the box to my first print took me around 45 minutes. The printer works incredible for shading, dark and white, or photograph prints. Given the tremendous volume to the ink tank plan, I don't have to stress over replenishing expensive ink cartridges. The printer accompanies 2 years of ink which is comparable to multiple sets of ink cartridges. Additionally the substitution ink cartridges are reasonably priced. Why didn't somebody think about this prior!! I don't have any stress when I need to print out many documents or photos. Remote printing works fantastic. I was able to add the printer to my network effortlessly. On my iPhone, I can utilize the Epson iPrint application to print work documents and school papers. Epson even has a feature called Epson Connect where they assign an email address that you can use to print photographs and documents on the printer from any gadget that has email from any location. Generally this printer gives remarkable incentives too and is an incredible printer for home & office utilization. Print quality is awesome and it prints and duplicates quick. The ink tanks are anything but difficult to fill and are cheap. Awesome printer!!

Write your review here. It must be at least 10 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislI found this printer to be easy to use, very nicely designed and not complicated to understand the controls. It was amazing how much ink is saved and not used to get the same quality of printed pages and photos. The EcoTank really makes printing for a small company as mine a whole lot better! The no ink cartridge thing is very cool! I don't have to buy a...
