Epson WorkForce WF-2960 Wireless All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer

I bought this item about 2 weeks ago and either the sensor of the ink box has issue or the printer is really bad with ink leakage. In this 2 weeks I have changes caritage twice already which this never happened to my other Epson printer which I use it for the same business purpose. I am really disappointed as it costs me a lot of money. I do not recommend this printer.

I have the WF 2960 and after a first setup attempt I thought I would hate it, it was giving me setup trouble. I decided delete all related files and start over from the beginning but not skip a single setup step and decided to act as if I know zero (which is not true). On the second attempt, skipping no steps including registration everything worked great. The printer is fast and scans well. We do not use faxing. The only issue is the apparent cost of ink replacement but given the printer price, we will call it even and be happy.

I bought this to ease of use on Scan and Print in high quality, which were all done quickly without struggling to manage.

terrible printer - Barely get 30 pages before it requires ink cartridge replacement, and print quality is poor, and now it won't print at all. This is all after less than a year of ownership. TERRIBLE!

Decent enough printer for the home with average to below average usage. The ink though disappears quickly even with print settings set for economy printing. Feels like it prints 50 pages and it's time for a refill. I would look elsewhere for a printer.

I can't tell you how many problems I had setting up this printer and getting it working. It is still on a USB cable because I couldn't get the WIFI nor the ethernet working !

Terrible document feeder. Uses a lot of ink. Firmware updates are used to cancel use of refilled cartridges. Not buying Epson ever again. Print quality was good, but this is going out in the trash.

So-so. I have been using computers for 48 years now. It used to take some time to load print drivers and complete set-up, but it has gotten a lot easier in the last 15 years. But this one is a "step backwards". First attempt at downloading drivers led me to a dead-end that would not allow me to proceed further. Had to go back online and search around for another way to do it. Found it, but it took some time. Definitely more frustrating than my last 3 printers (2 Brothers, 1 Canon). The "computer geek youngsters" working for Epsom definitely should Beta-test their systems at the local seniors' associations. Given I had frustrations, I would hate to be a person who is not as familiar with printers as I am.

It works. However, If the black cartridge runs out, you CANNOT print in color. If at least one of the color cartridges run out, you CANNOT print in black and white. The firmware will prevent you from printing and will endlessly prompt you to replace the empty cartridge. I received a pop-up saying I can temporarily print in black and white, when my cyan cartridge ran dry, however, this never actually allowed me to print. Very clearly a way to get users to buy ink they do not need. Recommend avoiding all ink based printers, regardless of brand, as this is a growing trend of harming the consumer.

I have to agree with Gordon3630, it is a very Frustrating Installation. I don't know if having a cell phone would have made it easier, I don't have one. It doesn't have an output tray opens automatically when you print. I thought the WF-2960 was going to be an upgrade from my Epson XP-820. Nope! This printer is advertised as having a "large" 2.4" touch screen. My Epson XP-820 had a 4.3" touchscreen and the output tray opened automatically when I printed anything. The WF-2960 is a nice neat machine and it prints the test pages really nice. But be very cautious when talking to a sales agent. I bought this to replace my Epson XP-820 because it was getting old and I thought it was time to replace it. I wish I had kept it. Is there any deals out there to get an XP-820 and trade my WF-2960?

NOT IMPressesd with this cheap printer. Ink runs out fast, or headers get so dirty all the time you have to constantly use ink to clean and than your out. This printer I had barely a year. Stick to the printers that have decent color and ink levels.

Cliente da oltre 10 anni con WForce pro 5620. Acquistata il 29 aprile scorso. Installata in autonomia con qualche difficoltà. Per l'inchiostro non riesco a completare il contratto ReadyPrintFlex in quanto la procedura si blocca, dopo aver compilato i diversi form. Assistenza telefonica incapace di fornire supporto adeguato. Terminata dotazione iniziale di inchiostro, utilizzo altro device di stampa. Esasperato, rinuncio a ReadyPrintFlex e acquisterò direttamente. L'inchiostro idoneo é 503 serie peperoncino (non reperibile) o altro che si prega di indicare. Chiedo di verificare se la registrazione del prodotto (ai fini estensione garanzia) sia stata eseguita correttamente. Dopo l'esperienza negativa intendo procedere al reso della stampante, se non mi viene fornito supporto adeguato

Only had the printer a few days and the quality is great. In the last couple of weeks, I have bought a new computer and a printer. Amazing speed and efficiency. Upgraded my technology and everything is working together well, now my biggest challenge is the operator.

Printer app not compatible with Mac mini 2023. Therefore the only function I can use is print. Cannot scan from computer. Can only scan from I pad and I phone. Doesn't make sense. Other than that is was easy to set up. Prints well.

Horrible printer. I couldn't hate it more. It goes into error constantly. I work from home and thus I have 3 different computers with which I try to print. All 3 computers struggle with this printer so it seems fairly clear it's the printer

The best part about this printer is that when it did disconnects from the WiFi, you can just hit it really hard a few times and it connects again :)

DO NOT BUY. Poor print quality. Good luck getting 70 pages with standard color ink. Will not print with black after their "several-day "emergency black-only period." Keep the printer in case you need to prove you own it for possible future reference.

We purchased the printer through the Epson online store for our business office. The purchase process was easy, shipping was right on time, and the packaging meant the printer arrived with no issues. The machine could not have been any easier to install and configure, We have been extremely happy with the results produced by the printer, copier and scanner. (We no longer fax.) All in all , we are very happy with this purchase. If you're considering buying this machine, you won't be unhappy!!
