The same as all the other cheap printers out there. I'm lucky to get 20 pages of black & white printing out of a 222XL Claria black. It would be a better use of my time and money to drive to the library 3 times a week and pay to print there. It would certainly be cheaper considering a package of Epson cartridges is $60+. It was easy to set up in the beginning but then after two weeks started having connectivity issues so I had to buy a USB cord to connect. Finally I set up another network off of a different router and I can get it to connect now. Not worth the hours I've spent trying to get everything to work, or the regular expense of new cartridges.

This is a good dependable printer. I got it as a replacement for a higher end printer that died after 15 years and this works as well as my old one. And the price was much better. It's a good solid printer and I have not been disappointed at all with the printing, scanning or copying. functions. I can't understand peoples complaints about low ink yield, I got about 2-3 months, about 75 pages out of the cartridges shipped with the printer, and am just now having to replace the replacements I put in last May, 2024, well over 225-250 pages with the standard cartridges. Perhaps they may need to check their settings and adjustments.

Not a good printer. The biggest problem is the poor page yield per ink cartridge. From day 1 I was only getting about 100-150 pages per 222XP (high yield cartridge). Finally gave up after 18 months and bought a used HP OfficeJet which is 100% better.

Bought over 18 months ago and am on my 5th set of inks. Do not print much, maybe 15-20 pages a month. The inks are expensive and do not last long. Initially set up using wifi but had to switch back to wired as wireless scanning connection kept disconnecting. Wired connection works flawlessly.

I bought this a couple of months ago for because the price was so good and it was an Epson. What I didn't know was the crazy cost of the ink cartridges how difficult they are to find and you can't use anything but Epson. Save your money

I bought this less than a month ago and it did fairly well. At first, it was printing perfectly, no issues, I went through 3 sets of ink and only have a total of 30 pages to show for it. Now, it doesn't read the ink cartridges anymore. Keep in mind, Epson Name Brand Ink 222. I've been wrestling for it on and off 3 hours a day for the past few days and 5 hours today. Not only is my money gone, but so is my time. Would not recommend.

Couldn't get the printer to scan to my Mac using the printer's control panel. Spent an hour on the phone with a tech who was hard to understand, continually interrupted, tried the same thing ad nauseam and couldn't fix the issue. Singularly unimpressed.

I've owned EPSON printers for 30 years, recently scaled down to an all in one. It fits my needs and its a workhorse! I have issues within printing envelopes.

The ink is very expensive. Even though I print in B & W you must buy the color cartridges otherwise it will not print. It does not work well with Chromebook. The scanner requires a driver but there is no download for Chromebok operating system. In my case a total waste of money.

It was time to replace our 8 year old workhorse Epson printer for home use. I went with Epson XP 5200 because of its reliability and because I like individual ink cartridges. This printer is super easy to set up right out of the box and prints beautifully. I was able to use the Epson Smart Panel app to set up the printer and didn't have to fool around with a USB cable. I also appreciate that the power cord from my old Epson printer works on the new one, so that was one less hassle during set up. I would definitely recommend this printer based on price, ease of set up and functions.

My 10 year old HP printer finally quit working. Only needed a printer that would do the basics. This seems to fit the bill. Only took an hour or so to set up, pretty easy, even for an old 72 yr.old woman. Good the price you can't go wrong. I've only printed out a few pages so far, but the printing does look good. I have it set so I can print from my phone, tablet or PC.

This printer would be fine if t wasn't for setup problems. The "print from wireless" continually gives problems and I finally gave up and connected with a cable, which needs to be obtained separately. The screen controls are difficult to manage. I keep getting "can't load software" messages. I guess you need to be a teenager to figure everything out. My old Epson was great, but unfortunately it was too old and finally quit on me.

All technology flummoxes me. But, this printer-scanner-copier is great. Admittedly, I needed help to set it up, but it turned out to be a network problem (needs to separate 2.4 and 5 G networks). Printer quality is great, easy to use, clear menu. And I got amazing support from the (very patient and competent) Epson representatives!

I am happy with the new printer. Prints well if a bit noisy. However, I am not happy with the Epson store. I tried to cancel the purchase because they couldn't meet my timetable. They wouldn't let me cancel. Said I had to send it back after delivery. Well, the UPS return charge equaled half the cost of the machine. I requested a refund of the shipping cost. So far I haven't received a response from Epson.

I gave this printer a 3 rating because I am pleased with its performance in my WiFi network, but I found the manual operation to be confusing. The user interface could use improvement. On the other hand, I am very pleased with the ease with which it operates with both my laptop and my smartphone.

My Epson XP-5200 printer works great. It prints, copies and scans. It takes 5 cartridges to operate it; which I don't like at all !!! I was told by Epson customer service that you have to have all 5 cartridges in the printer or it will not operate. My old HP printer only had a color and black cartridge and you could leave the color one out and it would still print everything in black. Also the Epson is a lot more complicated to setup than my old Hp Envy 4500 was. The HP printer was an all in one printer also.

Its still in the Box but I know its an Epson and Epson's always work. I'm still using a WF25300 and it works great. I'll probably install the Xp-5200 soon. Thanks!

Have had this XP-5200 about 2 months. My usual print volume is sporadic and low. Printer has worked fine so far and setup was very fast and easy. My one complaint is that I am not getting anywhere near the print volume suggested for the cartridges. Already on the third set of cartridges.

Received the item for Warranty replacement from the Epson XP 5100 that I just bought many ink cartridges for and this is the worse machine I have ever owned. The Ink cost as much as the actual printer. They ran out after printing only a few photos. They do not sell XL for the colored like they did on the XP 5100. This was a definate downgrade and I am currently looking at other machines to buy. I would steer clear of this money hog.

First time I used an Epson printer. I had a lot of work to complete with the scanner and printer. Very efficient and fast. I was able to connect to my laptop and both of my smartphones very easily.

I received a notification to update drivers shortly after purchase. I did as instructed and my NEW printer hasn't worked since. Customer support is a joke. I opened a claim they offered no assistance. Thanked me and closed the case saying I could reopen if not resolved. RESOLVED HOW? They offered no assistance. Brand new machine is useless and support is a joke.

I unboxed and set up the printer with no problems. All the diagnostic prints were good. I have printed work related pages, and I successfully scanned some images. So, the printer is working fine, and I would recommend it to others.

...and despite being registered upon activation, it remains offline despite being online. Whether this is a - wait for it - Windows 11 issue or Epson dropped the ball here is unknown. What I do know is time is wasted every single time I need to print something. I ditched HP, and I won't be buying an Epson product again. Newsflash to the manufacturer: people still print.
