It took 5-6 attempts to get the installation process to get past "Setup" - - - forgot to disable the wifi - tried to perform the disable on the 3rd install attempt, but that didn't work - - - after a few more times, I just removed the antivirus and the epson printer files and started the install all over again! Overall, the install took a total of about 10 hours - - - - - NOTE: I tried installing an epson printer about 9-10 years ago and had so many problems that I recycled it (a $500 machine) and went backto Canon...

We don't print photos or need super high quality color but basic print quality is great for our basic home needs. I wish the cycling white light on the on/off button could be turned off, our office is a cubby off of our bedroom and i had to tape a piece of paper over it. We've only had it two weeks but so far it's all good, hopefully it will last a long time!

I purchased this ET 4950 printer in January to replace Epson XP 6100 that was using ink faster than I could have ever imagined. Do not buy the XP 6100 unless you have deep pockets for ink. I only use the printer for text documents 90% of the time and very few photos. Years ago I had the WorkForce 4930 (I believe this was the model) and replaced it with the 6100. It was a huge disappointment so I decided before throwing money away in purchasing cartridges again to buy this ET 4950. I have been impressed with the performance and it will definitely pay for itself in the long run. It is super fast and so far works great. The only thing I would caution is when registering the item pay attention to the expiration period. When I registered the 4950 it showed the warranty ending in December 2026, however it shouldn't expire till January 2027. I contacted Epson via email and was given a response to call them. I contacted the number and couldn't get any real explanation and asked for email to confirm the warranty was valid till Jan 2027. I was told to just keep my receipt and it should be good till January. So why is it when I registered the item it didn't give the full year? I recommend the 4950 but not to satisfied with customer service received.

Very intuitive and simple to setup and use. No hidden gimmicks on ink purchase and the tanks last. It copies and scans duplex it has very simple cleaning and alignment feature, if ever needed.

This is the single worst piece of equipment I have ever bought and used. Connectivity between household WIFI is weak and inconsistent, cannot download any firmware update to try to fix any problem, and will not allow me to print via WIFI from any other device, Android, IOS, Windows, or Mac. Printer based WIFI is also weak and inconsistent, often dropping its own service in the middle of a job, canceling any task midway, and stopping itself from clearing the job queue. Those issues only actually IF the printer is willing to take itself out of its own "Printer is Busy" status, which it will keep itself in for an indeterminate amount of time, or put itself into that status with no warning, when you are trying to use it, or not. Save your self the time and headache, look elsewhere, literally anywhere.

Since I bought this printer, I have had to completely delete every Epson app and download and install the printer again at least five time because it keeps falling off of the network, even with the router right next to it and wont reconnect no matter what I do. Very frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice printer with easy set up and beautiful colors. I was able to connect to my phone and computers so easily. I love the fact that I will no longer be using cartridges that are environmentally awful. The print speed is great for home use too.

We have to keep restarting it for our phones and computers to see it, and scanning sometimes crashes. It is sitting within 5 feet of my router and all our other devices are fine. The ET-4950 seems to be a decent All-In-One and I really like the eco-tank set up. The only issue that I ran in to is that it doesn't print dark blacks straight out of the box. Text prints in dark gray until considerable adjustments are made in the print dialogue page in my laptop settings for the specific printer. It took a while to figure out that the settings couldn't be adjusted on the printer itself; that is, unless I just couldn't find them. In that case, user setup and use is not as intuitive as other high end printers that I have had in the past.

I LOVE this printer. It's so quiet when printing, super fast and amazing colors. It was very easy to get up and running and you can print from your phone or PC. We have used it quite a bit since printing our tickets for our state fair and still have a ton of ink. I would definitely recommend this for a home office or even personal use. You won't regret it!

I would recommend this printer for small businesses. The speed was great from comparison of my HP. The paper did not get jammed, even with big projects. The print quality was great as far as knowing how long the ink will last I would need longer use. I work from home so I'm printing projects all day long. I am excited to continue to use this printer. I would recommend giving it a try.

I received the EcoTank ET-4950 Wireless All-in-One Color Supertank Printer -white from Epson and Influenster for free in exchange for my honest review. I really like this printer. It has good print quality and prints double sided pages very quickly. My favorite part is the printer is cartridge free and has a large refillable ink tank.

Purchased thru local Staples. Used my android to set up and all went well until print for alignment when it jammed. I actually found paper inside by print head sled. That was corrected and never happened again. I do have an issue though, if I print a multi page job this printer pushes a blank page between each page. Twice I sent a support email to Epson and they do not even read the issue, got a canned response how to print test print then how to clean the print heads. Epson, wake up and read what the problems are before you respond. Poor support makes this a questionable buy. Scan function and copy and fax are fine. I am using this printer on Sequoia Mac is with full drivers installed. Disappointed, may go back to Canon if no fix.

This printer is exactly what my family needed. This is an upgrade to be wireless and allow us to print on demand without fussing with cords. Speed is just fine and was fairly easy to set up as a tech novice. Color comes out smooth as well.

This printer is AMAAZZZINNG!! the ink lasting for 3 years is a huge feat. I am a musician and print a lot of music sheets out and let me tell you this is so easy. Directions are very clear and set up was easy. I have always had issues running out of ink quickly with other printers but not anymore!
