I did like this scanner when it worked. I have used it for less than 1 year, and it has apparently suffered a "hardware failure" according to Epson. I will not buy another Epson product.

I love this little scanner. This is the 2nd one of these I have purchased. Regretfully the first one lost its mind after many years of use and developed a scanning issue I could not resolve. I loved the scanner so much I bought an identical one. Very easy to use after you get your setting right and makes getting rid of all those papers so much easier than one page at a time.

I bought this Epson scanner after trying 2 other Brother scanners. I had this one in my former employment, and knew it was a great product; just tried to get a similar product for less money...impossible. This is the BEST portable scanner capable of scanning multiple pages at one time. So happy to return to Epson!

Bought this scanner because it is portable. Used it twice and now it will not connect, even using the USB cord. I store it in the original box. Garbage!!!!!!!!!

After putting it off, only when I really needed it did I set it up. Needless to say, I was in a hurry. It was very easy and quick. There wasn't any ambiguity in the instructions, as is often the case. The device is very easy to use and I am impressed how fast it is. I have not yet used it for cards.

Absolutely love the ES-200 Portable scanner. It scans cards and is so light and convenient and the image quality is impeccable. I bought it for the home office as well and fits perfectly in any small bag or suitcase.

I just purchased the Epson ES-200 a few days ago and was shying away from installing it for a few days. The installation was very clear with great instructions and step by step setup. It led me to where I wanted to place my scanned items and let me save the invoices by the name I wanted to use. I just cannot believe how fast the scanner is compared to my regular printer. So far, I am going to like this product.

I haven't use it a lot yet but after using a printer scanner this little portable machine is outstanding. I have very old military medical records that are not n great condition that feed like they were new and copy as clear as the originals. I have a long way to go, then it will be hundreds of family history documentation and photos. Thank you. I never would have guessed it would work like this

Got the ES-200 scanner about 2 years ago. It gets used 1 - 2 days/month to scan 5 - 10 pages each time. As of 2 months ago all documents have a 1" black bar on the back side of a 2 sided scan. Contacted Epson, it's out of warranty so they gave me the name of a repair center. I'm sure cost of repair is nearly cost of a new unit, with no guarantee it won't fail again. Searching for this online, it's apparently a common problem. Epson should do more to support customers in what is obviously a manufacturing failure. I'm no longer an Epson customer.

This scanner is one of the best for basic scanning at home or on the go. It is easy to use and efficient. I bought it because we have the same model at work and I love it! it doesn't cost a lot, but it does the job really well. I love that it folds up to take up less space on the counter. Great tool!

I love this scanner very much. It is little and simple. It can scan double sides at one time. It can scan my insurance ID card as the card is thinner. Only one thing that make me disappointed a little bit is that the driver license could not go through the scanner because the thickness. I would like to show off it and recommend it to my friends. I bought the scanner because I needed a large amount of documentation to be scanned. The first time I used it scanned with no problem. The second time I used it I get a error code E583-B318, the thing will not connect to my computer. I have sat here for the past hours trying to figure it out. Not worth the money and the time I have wasted. Grrrrr.

I have a scanner on my printer and it was SOOO slow. I thought I would have to replace the whole printer, but didn't, because my printer is fine! My husband purchased this Epson ES-200 for me for Christmas and it is an absolute game changer. The only problem is that I used to pick up my weights and do some reps while I was waiting for my old scanner, now when will I get my exercise in?

My ES-200 just stopped working one day. Since then I have updated the software multiple times. The best outcome was it worked for a couple of scans and then jus stopped working. The issue appears to be a software defect - it connect to the scanner. Epson is one of these companies that installs all kinds of software I don't want or tuns on things I don't want turned on (Adobe has the same bad practice). After the Epson install I have to turn off all the browse add-ons they installed. o will the scan work tomorrow or do have to spend more time uninstalling all of their crap. I just need it to be able to scan a document reliably. We'll see if Epson Software is capable of doing it's core function. I don't have lot of faith at this point.

Bought the product to improve scanning time and not tie up the copier/scanner/printer that was in place. 1 man operation/consulting services. I only like depending on myself, that way i know it gets done, for what the product is, it performs very well. Scanning really compresses time frames. I wanted a scanner that would scan photos and sports cards. This scanner exceeded my expectations. Some of the cards (the thicker ones) will not scan, but the ones that do come out fantastic. Great product.

The product itself does deserve 10 stars, however, I had to spend more time searching for the drivers to install to use the product then I actually spent getting the product to work. It was worth the hassle, HOWEVER, Epson, please include that information in the directions. Also, if you could also include some English instructions, that would be helpful as well.

I bought this less than a month ago, and out of the box it was great. Scanned tons. A week or so later, wanted to scan more (touching and changing NOTHING in between) and suddenly the PC and scanner are not communicating. I spent tons of time looking for Epson support (HAHA The jokes on me- easier to find a flock of unicorns). Finally this morning, I uninstalled everything EPSON (including the other all in one that works fine), scanned and defragged my drive, and reinstalled everything new again. If it messes up again, though, it will be out of warranty - not that Epson makes it easy to find them either way. If I was paid minimum wage for the hours I spent fixing this thing, I'd be owed a couple of hundred more from Epson than what I paid for this.

I am so glad I found this Epson Scanner. I have always had a Cannon portable one that was not easy to use ---- would not work when I upgraded my Mac OS-- but the biggest issue was convenience ---- This Epson printer is VERY simple to use and the space it occupies and speed of the scanning is the best I have EVER had. ~~~~~ GREAT BUY!!!
