I love this scanner. It is portable so I can use where ever I am having to work. It is Great. The pages it scans are great.

I purchased this after having used a Epson wired scanner previously. Wanted the benefits of wireless. Unfortunately after many frustrating attempts and following the troubleshooting tips, I'm unable to connect. Like the 55 (wired scanner), I'm guessing there are unresolved Epson issues available in user forums the connectivity issues. Unsure if I'd purchase another based upon the problems with these.

Previously had bought the ES-55R scanner, but it developed a line on the scans that I couldn't get off without using the wet cleaner (2 sheets in kit that is very expensive). I also wanted the wireless scanner. The ES-65 WR has improved speed and provides a clear scan. When used in the wireless mode, the battery life is too short. I now use the scanner plugged into my computer.

IRS requires electronic storage systems to be able to be indexed. See Rev. Proc. 97–22 Section 4.04. While the Epson software allows saving the document images and saving the OCR data, there is no easy way to reference the images to the data. To have to manually add the image file name to each OCR data block would be way too much trouble.

I bought this about a month ago to scan documents to the computer to cut down on paper clutter. I am glad I bought this scanner. It works as intended, is easy to set up and easy to use. It also takes little space and is powered by USB to my computer so not another plug to plug into a socket.

I purchased this scanner a few weeks ago. I loved it day one. the next time I tried to use it, it took me a 1/2 hour before it would actually feed receipts. Then it worked perfectly till I stopped. On the next useage, it would not feed receipts again and the computer says connected then a few seconds later says disconnected

I haven’t owned this scanner long but I found that this scanner is everything that I need to keep my business expenses organized. I had a few challenges setting up the wireless feature but overall I like it. If you are looking for a portable and quality scanner, I recommend this item. You won’t regret your purchase.

am very pleased with this scanner, a bit lacking in clear instructions, but I have it working off USB and WiFi, CPU and cell phone. It is easy to use and can do a lot more than I expected. It scans quickly and is user friendly. I haven't used my printer scanner since I got this one. Fast and simple. I have already recommended it to others. Epson customer support, which has always been excellent, has failed to reply to my two installation/troubleshooting support request emails. I have questions that I can’t find answers to that I need help with, that’s the reason for the 4 stars.

A simple scanner that works well. Just insert paper and push button. I am sure it has many features that I will never use since my needs are simple. I did have a problem with the software installed on my Windows laptop several weeks after I installed it. . But customer support was very helpful in fixing it.

It does scan, so I give it 2 stars. The first installation failed. Epson does not include an uninstall routine with its software, so I had to manually uninstall the 7 programs that are installed with the manufacturer software. The second install ended up working. However, many scans thus far have been crooked. Likely going to return.

Bought this scanner a few days ago. Installed according to instructions. Immediately called Support because there's no image of the scan--it doesn't work. The physical device takes paper in, the software recognizes that a piece of paper went through; but there is no image of the scan except a blank, white place-holder! Two different people at Epson Support had me on the phone for an hour (most of that time was listing to a recording of Shaq O'Neal yelling at "Henry" and "Alice" to answer my call--cute but not helpful). They told me I have to call back tomorrow (during daylight hours I'm supposed to be at MY job) and ask the next Support person for permission to send the device back to Epson. Not very helpful!

I got this about two months ago. And I have been giving it a work out. I have started working on my family tree, which means lots of papers and photos. Now, it does state that is does not work well on photos. This is true on SOME of the black and white older photos, because it is made for receipts. But I am beyond happy with the quality of the scans. It was super easy to hook up and use. And very small and portable, which is great for me. I pack it up and tuck in with my laptop and off we go. I love having the ability to scan while I travel! Definately recommend this scanner.

I recieved a WorkForce ES-65WR Wireless Portable Document Scanner for free to test and write an honest review. Very nice scanner if you don't have a lot of documents. More so for receipts and insurance cards. Also portable for those who travel.

I had received my Epsom WorkForce ES-65WR portable scanner a few weeks ago and its absolutely amazing! By far the best scanner I've used. I downloaded the app onto my Android phone, set up and connected my printer to my phone and wifi, and it worked like a champ. I've had no issues setting up or connecting the device to my smart phone and my windows 10 laptop. The scanner scans everything pretty quickly and loads onto the screen instantly. I love that your able to edit files as well as have searchable PDF's. I love how lightweight the scanner is, makes it very easy to pack up and to use for when I'm on the go. I highly recommend this scanner to anyone looking for a great, convenient, and high quality scanner.
