The Epson Eco tanks is the way to go if you do a lot of printing. The quality is good and the price is right. I am still learning how to print anything less than 8 1/2 x 11, but still love the printer.

I've had this printer for about two years. It's very economical on ink, still on first set and you get two complete sets of ink with it. If not used for a couple of weeks I get ink smudges at top and bottom edges of first few pages. Every week or two I have to set up wireless printing again. Using Windows 10 with all updates installed, Spectrum modem and google Mesh which are 2 feet from printer and computer. OTHER THEN THESE TWO ISSUES IT HAS BEEN GREAT. WISH IT HAD AN AUTOMATIC DOCUMENT FEEDER. Glad we got the 5 color model even though it was quite a bit more money. We get good quality photos and I don't cringe every time I print photos like I did with the Epson Artisan 810 because of the ink usage and cost. Would never go back even though the Artisan 810 was a six color and had a document feeder. High initial cost for this unit but you save tons of money on ink over time. We also have an Epson 3800. I would have given this 5 stars for value if it had come with the document feeder. My ET-7700 is a refurbished unit and I had to get four (not a typo) different ones before I got one that would completely initialize. As to whether I would recommend Epson to a friend it would depend on the printer model.

I'm using it for a few weeks now. I print every other day for my project and I use color all the time. It takes a trial and error to find the right settings for my needs. The color match is about 95% I would say. It prints a little lighter than what it should be but thats fine to me. I use plain paper and set in fine print to get the best quality. I use white matte paper only for printing. So far I love this printer, I like how clear and detail the prints are. And it prints so fast I was amaze. I used ET2720 before and have issue with detailing and graying but not this new printer. I'm very happy with my purchase. I hope this last me atleast 5yrs. My ET2720 last me 1yr only but Epson replace it because it was still under warranty. Also, what makes me buy again at EPSON because of their customer service is great, very easy to contact and helps you with your issue.

Actually prints great if you get it to that point. Awful time installing. Epson needs to work on their installation program. Can't say if it is just this printer or not. Had to replace maintenance box end of second day even though never did head cleaning. If it came installed, would recommend but does not. If you want to avoid headaches skip this product. Would give 5 stars if not for install errors.

So far it is working very good, prints-copies-photos are beautiful, clean, with vivid colors, the ink still going strong ( amazing ), copies after copies, photos after photos and the ink tank still half full, GREAT !!!!!!, Epson got me as a customer forever, now the only con that I have encounter is sometimes one of the ink is not printing ( it contains 5 ), well, you just have to go to " Maint" click " Nozzle check" and from there the printer is going to guide you step by step, or click "Head Cleaning" and it is going to guide you step by step until it prints great again, simple instructions and easy to follow. Very satisfied with my printer, oh and did I forget to mention that epson gives you and extra set of ink bottles replacements : ) ......Sooooo nice, Great Job Epson guys !!!!!!!!!!!

This is a replacement of a kodak Pinter I've had for 6 years. They quite servicing it so I moved on with out them. I received it today and had it up and running with in an hour (I didn't pay attention to color containers and struggled with that) all in all I like it'

Pro: A very good printer perhaps even excellent. The large ink tanks are a brilliant idea. There seems to be a problem printing borderless prints at 4 by 6 and perhaps other sizes. I am still working on this one. Con: The photo printing software is out of date and should be updated to make it more intuitive. It seems I had the same software on my old XP 800. No touch screen and no automatic tray to receive print outs. Both these features were present on my old XP 800. At this price these items should be included. However, in spite of the negatives, I am very pleased with the printer and I would definitely recommend it.

We bought this printer for home due to changes in our work and school life...everything is now at home! I was intimidated by this printer at first, being that it's pretty "techy", but it was so easy to set up, and with only having used it 3-4 times so far, it prints GREAT. My only complaint is that it goes into sleep mode after just a few minutes of not being used, and you have to hit the power button to turn it back on for it to print. But we're still learning how to use it, and hopefully we will learn that there's a way around this. And we can't wait to print photos!

I ordered the Epson late December 2020. The first one developed a problem after the second day. It would tell me that it needed paper but it was full of paper. Dell, who sold me this printer took the old one and scheduled delivery of its replacement. This didn?t happen until Feb 11. I was in the hospital and the replacement sat on my front porch for 11 days before it was discovered there. I installed the ET 7700 on or about Feb 23. It is a great printer. My only problem in the operation was printing an envelope. I called Epson support and a very nice lady walked my through the procedure to print an envelope. All is well now.

Very satisfied. The print quality is perfect but a bit long for color copies. The drawers must be handled with care as they are made of plastic. Don't forget to buy a USB A-B cable because it is not included. Easy to use.

My daughter has this printer and loves it. My hp died and I have waited for this printer to be back in stock and just got mine yesterday. It was easy to set up. The colors printed are exactly what you have on the paper being printed from.

Really happy that Epson is finally producing a tank printer that will print directly on CD/DVD/Blu-Ray discs! Not sure why they don't advertise this fact or that you have to scour the web to find out about this feature, they should be shouting it from the rooftops. But yes it's a good printer and it prints on discs, great for those of us who make weekly productions.

I replaced my Epson WF630 for this one to take advantage of the eco-tank feature. I love the other features this printer offers. It works seamless especially. Few issues with paper recognition in the printer but I’m coming to find out it’s the programs I’m using to print.

This printer has totally exceeded my expectations. I am printing lots of very high density color pictures on vinyl glossy paper for wine labels and need a low per-unit cost. The quality is excellent, it prints on paper that it is not advertised to print on and the the photo black ink makes the blacks amazingly black for my purposes. I am also amazed how long the ink is lasting as I thought I was using a lot of ink but it is not near as bad as I expected. I easily will save the cost of the printer in cartridge savings by the time the first set of ink is done, and then continuously from there on. This is exactly what I needed.

I am very impressed with the quality of photos on photo paper. It simple to just send a phone photo to 4x6 glossy paper. Printer likes being used for optimum quality. I was only printing black & color nozzles clogged. For about an hour I kept using Epson nozzle cleaning utility & problem was resolved. I love not buying ink cartridges,

I have had this printer for several weeks. Bought primarily to print photo albums and the print quality has far exceeded my expectations. The ink tanks are super convenient. The only problem is that I get a lot of paper jams with 53# presentation matte paper (average of 1 in 5 pages printer. Don't know why the printer will not proper pick up and feed the paper. Also this printer does excellent scans.

I have had this printer for 2+ years. I am still using the ink that came with the printer. This is amazing. I have had issues with keeping the print heads clean and having ink spots and off colors on my printouts. I think I finally solved this problem with a power clean. I hope it continues to print well. I find it difficult to print envelopes, especially if you want to print more than 10 at a time. The scan feature works well.

I've had this printer for a little over a year. At first, it was great, I only had to fill it once. It does smudge a lot - too much - and the 24 hour wait after cleaning is very inconvenient in the middle of a project.

I loved this printer for about 8 months, then the problems started--constant streaks and huge black ink blobs on both photos and regular printing. After trying all the recommendations, I called customer service. They ended up sending a replacement, and the same thing happened again. This has been a very expensive mistake.

I bought this last year as a family Christmas gift. It's been less than a year and it won't even turn on. My best guess is that we've probably printed less than 100 pictures. Then to top it off, the Epson website shows that my 2-Year Warranty expired 2 weeks after I purchased the printer directly from their website.

I bought this printer because I had become tired of my HP always running out of ink in the cartridges. This was the biggest mistake I have made in a long time. Not only is this printer a royal pain to print with (You have to open the front, slide out a tray in order to print), it also will not work with my Mac. Despite many downloads of drivers, updates, and discussion with Epson support, EVERY TIME I go to print, I get a cryptic "Filter Failed" or "Printer not found" message. I am very tired of talking over and over again to Epson support and getting nowhere. Their support I rate as low as that of Microsoft. very poor. I am now looking to get rid of this pile of junk and find something that works even if it means going back to a cartridge ink system. Beware, don't buy one of these!
