The projector is fine, overall I like it, but I'm shopping for bluetooth speakers to connect it to, and Epson requires bluetooth to be scms-t compatible/compliant... I've only found 1 speaker manufacturer who will even say which of their speakers scms-t, and their list is horribly out of date. Epson has made it practically impossible to find bt speakers that work with their product, which is infuriating. Why would you mandate scms-t???

I started using this projector 1 month ago and happy with the device overall. I opened the package, plugged it in, paired the remote, linked a couple streaming services and was watching a movie in 10 minutes. The picture quality within 10 ft and 20 ft is real crisp in both low and high light, I was surprised by the quality under both distances and differing light conditions. I also enjoy having a built in speaker where you don't have to rely on an external plug in which makes this device very portable and meets my needs. Just unboxed the Epson Home Cinema 2250 and giving it a test drive. I have a dedicated media room in my house and have been running an older Epson Home Cinema projector for years on an 80+ inch screen. We love watching movies and shows in the media room as a family. I have been hesitant to replace the existing projector since it has worked great for many years. After pulling the Home Cinema 2250 out of the box, I immediately notice the more compact package compared to my older model ? the projector looks good on a mount. And, the remotes are a vast improvement - seems more like a Fire Stick TV remote in their design and usability ? I am a big fan of these remotes! Also, appreciate the smart TV feature built into the projector given most of my regular TVs are smart TVs at this point. The real excitement came when we fired it up and compared side by side with our old projector (which is still a 1080p image). Wow?the image is crisp and pops on the screen?definitely an upgrade and a pleasant overall experience! I would certainly recommend an upgrade to the Home Cinema 2250 after giving it a test drive! The Epson Home Cinema 2250 Projector is top of the line! It was packaged with care and no damage to the unit upon arrival. The out of the box set-up took only about 10 minutes. It was very easy to sync with my phone, and I loved the fact that it pulled all my wifi and app information from my phone to add to the projector in just a couple easy steps. It was so easy my grandmother could do it! The picture quality is superb even without using a screen. The picture is clear and crisp whether it?s dark or light in the room. I love the fact that the remote/projector has voice-control. The Android TV function works very well and is extremely easy to use and understand. This projector allows for downloads of every streaming service I have ever seen and more! This definitely offers a high quality theater system for your home that will make everyone who sees it jealous! I used to own the BenQ series projectors and this by far surpasses them in quality and functionality! This has turned out to be a great selection! I was a little concerned about getting a 1080 projector instead of 4K but in reality, you can't really tell the difference especially during daytime usage. It's bright enough to be quite good during the day, believe it or not.

Wow this makes a great home theater experience. Due to the pandemic been looking for ways to still enjoy life as much as possible and this projector helps have a Friday night movie nights or just turn on when the mood strikes. The quality is superb, easy to install and works seamlessly.

The projector was easy to install, but would have liked it if the it was possible to project over wirelessly. Like to connect my phone and stream content. I was able to connect my computer and cable box> Running the wire was sometimes inconvenient.

We have been using this projector for a couple of weeks and have been pretty impressed with it so far. It's connected to a Blu-ray player through the HDMI port and projects onto a wall since we don't have a projector screen yet. Even without a proper screen, the image is very crisp and rich with color. I like having the ability to adjust the size of the image. The integrated speakers are surprisingly good for a projector, but larger rooms will require a more robust sound system. We connected the projector to our sound bar & sub using the auxiliary jack provided and it's completely plug-and-play. I'd prefer to connect to the sound bar using HDMI or Optical, but those options aren't available on this model. It is able to connect to sound systems using Bluetooth. Overall, we're really happy with this Epson projector and recommend it for an enjoyable movie theatre experience without having to leave your home.

We had a home theater in our old house and have wanted a projector for this one for a long time. As simple as it is, that this comes with Android TV instead of needing its own roku or firestick is awesome. The picture, of course, is most important and in terms of bang for buck this delivers a great one.

The Epson home cinema projector is a game changer for anyone, it took about 20 minutes from box to watching movies . It was really simple to use and follow directions, it's definitely going to be a must have for my game nights and just sitting back and relaxing for the night. You can literally take it anywhere with you and it doesn't take up very much room. It's definitely a must have for any occasion.

The picture is amazing - clear picture, brightness and responsive enough for video games. I would highly recommend this projector for a home cinema setup. Android TV dongle fails to connect to a known network, intermittently drops connection, and has an unstable connection to certain providers such as Hulu. Would increase to 4-5 star review if not for the frustration and difficulty of use.

While the projector itself is good, not sure why they did not provide the sound output via HDMI cable. Another option is a 3.5 mm jack, which does not carry the full signal to the AV receiver. So unpractical, especially for a $900 h/w and given its purpose. I am now planning to add a Chromecast to my home theater and just send the video signal to the projector - just like the old days. I will end up using 3 remotes (AV Receiver, Chromecast, and Projector or will invest in another universal controller (so add $100 more and more cables). Projector has apps (android TV), but then you are left to use the projector 10-15W sound. Bluetooth connection was possible but it's also not picking my latest Denon receiver. regardless I expected the projector to have sound output via HDMI cable.
