Shopper : how many prints does it yield on 8.5x11 paper, approximately?FRANK J : I print a variety of sizes, but can give you a guesstimate based on ink usage per square inch. For premium lustre you can expect around 700 8.5x11 prints from a set of ink cartridges, which should put your ink cost around 50-60 cents per sheet. Hope this helps.
JASON R : How is this a full set of inks if the printer takes 9 cartridges?JOSEPH C : Read the list of whats included…. it lists nine cartridges.DONALD E : This is a complete set of inks for the 3880. The ninth cartridge is the maintenance cartridge which has to be changed when it is full. In regards to buying the entire set of inks rather than one at a time I think you are better off: Youhave inks as back up when you run out: I always have an extra for just this reason;Why Epson inksin stead of something else? This is what the machine and the pigment delivery system was designed for. When your computer and monitor are calibrated, expect to get what you see instead of something that doesn't match. If you have a problem because you purchased something third party, you are not doing yourself any favors. Thanks to Adorama, most of all for working with the same salesman for years and for saving me the time and energy to go to the not so local store. Happy printing!

Better price and speedy delivery

Inks are like the disposable razor blades of the photo industry. You know, give them the handle for cheap and bleed them to death when they buy the blades. So there's no escaping the costs of ink if you want to print photos. Rather than buy from some fly by night eBay source or refilled cartridges, Adorama had the best price of any reputable source.

The only way to go (epson 3880)

I've printed some outstanding quality prints with this ink and printer. I'm kind of leery to use anything else outside of the Epson brand for this printer as they are such a good match. Had to order this last batch to be able to print for a upcoming show. Prints are looking great.
