I've used a similar Brother label maker at the office for years. It's very handy and well designed. I bought the Epson for home use because I have several Epson products that have been excellent. This one needs to go back to the drawing board. The controls are not intuitive at all and the print is very ragged and poorly finished. I'm very disappointed in this product.

Owned this label maker for 4 years and then the motor failed. For the cost of this unit it would have been nice to see it covered by its warranty under this time period. But still I purchased this unit again as from what i've read it's one of the units that wastes THE LEAST amount of tape AND prints more than 2 lines.

I am doing the beginning of the year clean out and organization. I am labelling everything so I can locate it at a glance. Labels are very easy to read and the portability of the label maker is key!
