I look after the audio and visual for the clubhouse in our seasonal RV resort in Southern California. Over approximately 5 years we bought and installed 2 Epson projectors.A 1450 model and a 2250u was our latest. I went with Epson because of their reputation and they had all the features we needed.The positive, great pictures and features in both. Unfortunately even though they were only used from October to late March each year the 1450 died after the third season and the second one the 2250u lasted barely 2 years and it died this week March 13 2025. I called Epson tech support and after explaining the problem they said it was a hardware issue and because it only had a one year warranty we would have to send it to someone who could repair it and pay for the repair ourselves. I explained that this was our second projector that died on us and hoped that he would at least offer to send us a refurbished replacement but he said no. Very disappointed and I politely told him that I guess I would never recommend an Epson projector or buy another one. Unfortunate because Epson products are usually good but not in my experience.

I can watch TV with the curtains open or all the lights on, and still have the Brightness turned down below 50%. I bought refurbished, and the quality is the same as new.

Great Brightness and clarity.

I just installed the 2250 last week. It is the third 2250U that I got in last 5 months. The 5000 Lumens is bright enough so that the instructors do not need to dim the classroom light - very good for the students taking note.Other good features that I like are:1. management interface through LAN2. The easy corner function of keystone makes the keystone adjustment a super easy job.
