David L : Can this be used with windows 8.1?JEFF P : I purchased this in 2012! It has worked great for scanning documents and sending as PDF files. My machine is Win7 and the newer operating systems seem to find the drivers they need and auto load for the hardware. I think Win8 can do the same or even run in Win7 mode. Another source of information would check the Epson web site and check for the correct driver. This has worked as a reliable scanner with easy to use software. FWIW.
