I have had this for a while and have loved it, I scan a lot of things for work and it works great!! THE BIG ISSUE I HAVE WITH IT NOW IS that I have never set up an admin password or if I did, I don't remeber what it was. I registered my Epson RR-600w online. It has never asked me for an admin password to do an update and now all of the sudden it is asking me for one. I have no clue what it is, as I said; I don't even remember setting one up. So, I go to my epson account online to see how to resolve the issue, I do not see an answer to my problem. I then call epson, I was transferred 4 different times, 4 of those times they could not understand half of what I was saying due to a language barrier (because I speak ENGLISH). Anyway when I finally got to speak to someone that could understand what my problem was, they informed me that I had to take my product into an epson dealer, I asked where one was, it was 183 miles from my location. I explained to them that I bought it from an office supply store here locally and did not understand that if I registered my product under my name, email address and phone number why they could not help me with this. The fact that I would have to travel 3 1/2 hrs one way to get this resolved it simply crazy.

Whoever buys this scanner I HIGHLY recommend that you return it immediately. I tried it out for one day. I never got it successfully connected to my computer and scan a full 8 page document (it kept disconnecting after a few pages). I tried a full firmware update, and I even connected it directly to my computer with the USB. I tried to resolve the issue by calling Epson's technical support. First the number listed in this instruction manual is incorrect. Apparently, they have a dedicated support team for just this rapid receipt line of scanners, is it 562-276-1314. Unfortunately, the rapid receipt technical care is either not staffed or not set up fully because after 45 minutes of hold I figured it was a better use of my time to write this note and return the scanner to Best Buy. The unit is well made and compact. It scans smoothly and quickly. Tragically, I am unable to initiate a scan on the scanner for my MacBook M2 Pro (despite many struggles with technical support). I have to manually open the software, connect and hope it will work.

I just purchased this a couple of weeks ago. The set up directions, were terrible! Not everyone is "tech savvy." Not sure if I will keep it?. Please think about ADDING DETAILED SET UP INSTRUCTIONS!

This machine is awesome. There is nothing that you can put in the feeder that it does not effortlessly scan very quickly. It is the best scanner I have ever used.

Not readily useable. I had a lot of difficulty setting it up. Agent was supposed to call me within 24 hours to finish and I am still waiting for his call back. Admittedly, I am challenged technically.

I have a busy bookkeeping business. We scan hundreds to thousands of documents a day for our clients. The desktop scanners we used previously are fast but they require you to scan in one receipt at a time and then they must be connected with a cable to your computer. I initially bought 3 of these RR600W Rapid Receipt printers for testing, with the plan to buy more if they proved their worth. One of them failed right out of the box. It never connected to the WiFi despite very many attempts. The was returned. We retain the other 2 however I would caution anyone in a production environment against considering them. Even with technical employees you are going to waste time supporting them. And they jam often when feeding in more than 4 or 5 documents at a time. When they jam you have to clear error messages on both the scanner and the computer and then you have to refeed the jammed receipts. Often you get part way, or most of the way through a large scan job when the app screen simply goes white and you lose all you work. You have to restart the app to rescan everything again. The frustration and wasted time makes these a time waster in a production environment. For someone who just scans a few household receipts they are likely more reliable but the frustration of keeping them connected to your WiFi is not really worth the money.

Smooth interface to Windows 11. Scanner functionality easy to use and clean. Receipt recognition software is not as accurate as Neat was. I don't like you have to load stuff image down. Rarely have a receipt that doesn't require editing. Need to seriously look at Machine Learning to improve scan accuracy.

It is not fast, nor simple. I have contacted technical support (who can barely speak English) and have learned that every receipt has to be manually directed where to go. I do not have the time, nor the man power to devote to this unit.

Good that it extracts the date and total from a receipt. It would be nice if it extracted the individual line items. Maybe something for an update. It's good at guessing a good name when saving to file. I like that.

Difficulty returning the product. This is 2023, and the product was made in 2019. Technology has changed and this product is almost obsolete. It was clunky to set up. We immediately boxed it back up and are still awaiting return instructions
