I normally prefer Canon papers with my Canon Pro P-1000 printer. They unfortunately do not make a glossy paper in 17x 22 size. So I was pleased to find a glossy paper in that size from Epson. It's a true glossy finish paper. Exactly what I wanted. My question for Epson is whether it's archival. The packaging doesn't say, so I assume not (since that would be an important selling point)..

This is good quality photo paper (4 star). Not quite as nice as the Ultra Premium Gloss (5 star), but since this size 11x17 doesn’t come in Ultra Premium, it was as good as I could get. I chose this size so I would not have to trim the paper to fit into “menu size” 10 mil film lamination pouches. I print out at the highest resolution on my Epson sc=p600 printer and it runs good and the prints look great.

I printed over a dozen 11x14 prints on this paper using a Canon Pixma Pro-100 for an exhibit at the local art center. Great quailty, all my semi-pro and pro friends were very impressed with them. They all thougt I had them printed at a pro color lab. I then printed the same images (absouloutely NO changes) on Kirkland Glossy 11x14 and the same semi-pro and pro photographers could not tell the difference. In short, it is a great paper but not worth the cost if I can get the same quality for less than 50 cents per sheet.

I have three Epson high end printers. two of them are less than one ear old. the other one is a 11 ink 24 in wide HDR printer. I get the sharpest, highest, dynamic range prints of any paper that I have ever used. So if you want the sharpest most colorful prints (without over saturation) then you should try this paper. I purchased 13X19 in paper because it is the largest print that can be produced by my new Epson Epson SureColor P600 printer and if I use this paper and a 2 1/2 in mat, it fits a standard 18X24 in frame.

Epson has down-graded it's version 3 star of this paper which I have used for years. I would recommend this version if you where happy with the previous 3 star version. Warning: Epson kept all the ID numbers the same on the 3 star version but the quality is poor/flimsy to say the least.

Did not expect this type of quality photo paper for the price. Prints came out in great quality, dried quick, no smudging at all. Used this with an Epson WF printer. Corners are easily bendable for me, so be careful how you hold by the edges.
