okene b : is the paper of the same quality as tha used to make money?DAWN D S : um... Although I have no idea what kind of paper is used to make 'money', I'm going to say, NO. This paper is much thicker than any currency bill I've handled.JON P : Well, at the risk of facilitating a felony, I can tell you that it's not all like paper currency. Much thicker. As to quality, I'm not sure what else you mean. It's certainly not as durable. Hope that helps.KATHY D : I would say no; this is a very heavy stock, which may be too thick for some printers. It hasca matte finish, and is useful for archival pictures. It absorbs inks, so is expensive to use.CURTIS F : The quality of the paper is completely different from the paper that is used to make money. First of all it textured. Second the Velvet Art Paper is much thicker. It is about as thick as a good card stock. Money paper is more like cloth.HELEN A : This paper is considered a professional quality paper suitable for making prints for exhibition or galleries. It has a matte finish. Regarding "making money"...it's hard to make money selling photographs.

I have an Epson Stylus Photo R3000 printer that I use to print photographs I've taken and edited. The Velvet Fine Art Paper makes the print look like a piece of art. Hope this helps!ALISON F : Sorry, but no idea. Suggest you call EpsonCARL S : I doubt it. While it will print it will not take full advantage of Epson Velvet. It is generally used for high end photo printers and not multifunction printers like your Brother. Check you printer manual for recommended photo paper for your printer. I use an Epson (R1900) and with that printer the Velvet Fine Art paper is one of the best matte papers I have ever used. However, I have printed photos of my oil pastels onto this paper with my Epson printer and it is almost visually indistinguishable from the originals.ANNE D : It feels like a good watercolor paper very slightly nubbly taxture. I have no idea if it is good for oil pastels.LOIE G : Don't know. I haven't tried it.KATHY D : No I wouldn't say it has a velvety feel; the feel is more a rough kind of feel. The best paper for at-home art prints. Wonderful texture to hold color beautifully and a great shade of white to stay neutral without feeling dull.

Excellent paper.

Very nice paper for both B&W and color. Very sharp and saturated images, but be sure to use the correct side. Correct side is facing up against cardboard insert when you open package. The photo of product that Adorama uses is of the old packaging. The item that will arrive is in the new and current packaging.

Great Paper

I purchased this paper for my watercolor prints. I like it because it has a little bit of texture, like most watercolor paper. Be sure to print on the correct side of the paper; there is a huge difference in the color of the end product!

Use it often

I use this paper for printing my digital art, which begins with hand drawn images. I use an Epson R2880 printer. The colors are sharp and vivid, and the texture of the paper is very nice to the touch, which others often mention when I give them my drawings made into gift cards. (However, for a sturdier paper, with even more vivid colors and a pleasant texture, I use Canson's more expensive Rives BFK 310.) As to color reproduction, it is hard to comment because of the complex interactions between computer, ink, printer, and paper, all of which have to be adjusted to personal preference. But with this in mind, I use and like this paper very much.
