The Epson Exhibition Watercolor Paper Textured is a paper capable of rendering an image with strong surface features and an expanded color gamut with excellent fidelity. I believe that the paper was made by Crane and as such represented the pinnacle of paper making skill. When coupled with the coating the paper was truly exceptional. I understand that the paper will be replaced by a Legacy Epson paper which I hope can reprise the wonderful characteristics of this now discontinued paper.
The Epson Exhibition watercolor paper textured (13x19" 25 Sheets) is manufactured with the revered mould-made process. It utilizes custom made felts for a unique, highly textured watercolor surface and finish to help achieve the best combination of image quality and image permanence. In addition to the 22mil caliper and 310gsm weight, Epson Exhibition watercolor paper is 100 percent cotton fiber that is acid, lignin and OBA-free, making it an ideal fine art paper for today's printing professionals.
