This printer is a major upgrade over my Epson ARtisan 1430. I receive very professional results. The cartridges are very expensive but I have found a source for heavily discounted genuine Epson cartridges so as long as I can rely on this source, I am a very happy camper with the R2000. Be sure to use high quality paper to maximize results. Wi-Fi connection was a snap.

I use the printer for printing photos to display in my house and for friends, occasionally for pay. It's my 3d wide-carriage Epson (13"). The first two died after several years of use each, so I'm satisfied with durability. Printed three 12 X 16's and 50 4 X 6's and the cyan cartridge is only down by a quarter; the others are show less than an eighth gone. Printed on Epson matte and Pro-Master Ultra Premium Pearl, so did not use the gloss optimizer. I used Elements 13 to edit and Qimage to print, with a calibrated monitor. Results closely matched the screen,but with more detail! Faster and quieter than my previous Epson 1400 and 1280, and it looks like the ink cartridges will be lasting considerably longer too. Installation a breeze, more paper choices and paths than I'm likely to use. Highly recommended. Printed an album of Jamaica vacation pictures for my girlfriend that wowed the folks at her office. Looking forward to printing some monochromes. I use and Epson all in one for everyday text and graphics printing.

This is my second R2000. It replaces my old one (well used). I bought this because I have been happy with the phote o quality output, as well as the rated ink/image life and the media size flexibility. My only recommendation - be sure to print a page or run the self-clean cycle at least every month (I do so every two weeks). Otherwise, the ink can dry up and cause problems... then it can take several deep cleans to get things flowing again. Since this is my professional "photo grade" printer, I have others for laser & draft inkjet output. The WIFI is a nice touch... and I have even installed the Epson print utility on my Android tablet. Very flexible, the first time I have been able to do much with printing Android generated documents.

This printer is good for print with high quality. It is even fantastic considering the rebate. I would recommend my friends to buy it, too.

The Epson R2000 was extremely easy to set up. The overall quailty of the photos I printed was outstanding.

I bought the Epson R2000 as a second printer to use only for producing larger-format photographs and long backdrops. I've coupled it to my Mac via Wi Fi and use it with Aperture 3 and Photoshop. I use a separate multi-use printer for documents, scanning, and copying. This Epson R2000 prints photos of magnificent quality: very even ink distribution, excellent dynamic range and color saturation, perfect black fields. The only shortcoming that took me by surprise was the difficulty I experienced getting it set up. You can save yourself some of the trouble I experienced by downloading the software updates first! Other than setup, I'm ecstatic with this printer. It does what I want it to do beautifully and quickly. However, you should know the following things about it before you purchase it: (1) While text quality is very good, it prints text extraordinarily slowly, very, very, very, very slowly (fortunately, photos print quickly, go figure); (2) It's 25" X 13" X 8," and the size is accentuated by a wide silver stripe wrapping around the front edge; (3) For the most part, you control the printer from your computer and there's no little screen on the printer itself; (4) As seems to be the norm these days, the instruction manual is in the software, not in a book, and if you want to print any of it, you'd be well-advised to have a faster printer handy; and (5) ink usage is in line with a good quality large-format photo printer, don't expect it to be miserly with ink. None of these five things are shortcomings for me, as I consider them to be part of the "package" for a top-quality large-format photo printer.

I absolutely love my new printer. I thought that the R1800 was good. But this one is even better! I am glad they have worked on ink consumption as well. Thanks Epson for making me and my clients look great!

Using with Lion OS X 10.7 WiFi. It was easy to set up and get started. Cal. with ColorMunki and first print was right on the money. The WiFi is the best as I work with three computers and do not have to switch cables all the time.
