Made thousands of prints with this printer and ink and the life of the cartridge is consistent. Prints last even after years of sun exposure.

The Epson 2200 is an excellent printer for Photographers. I have been using mine for heavy duty printing of 4x6 and 5x7 images for over six years. It has never failed me. The black ink comes in two flavors, photo and matte. I use the photo for color images and the matte for black and white images.
