This is same as each ink cartridge but comes in full set which makes much cheaper than purchasing cartridge individually.

Epson printers demand epson inks. Printers are fairly cheap..so the companies make $$$ on ink...which is frightfully expensive..however, if we are to believe the amazing micro technology of print heads, not sure there are alternatives to using OEM ink.

I print my own photographs on an R300. My primary interests are sunsets and flowers, especially roses, and the color reproduction is outstanding. The multi-packs provide very good value, but I wish Epson would include the black cartridge.

I print photos and documents. I own an Epson Stylus R300 Photo printer and this ink worked just fine.

I've found using the Epson Inks with my Epson Photo Stylus R340 printer produces the best results. I have coupled this ink with Epson's Ultra Premium Glossy Photo Paper and have gotten better results than I had expected. Buying the Multipack also saves money over the costs of buying individual colors.

I don't print many of my our photos, but I prefer to use the Epson Inks on my Stylus Photo R340. Since my local stores don't seem interested in the 5 Pack, buying this from Adorama saves about $27.50 over buying the individual colors [...]. They may not all run out at the same time, but there isn't much time until they all do.

I've tried many ink refilling stores and refilled retail brands. They work fine if you will only be doing texts. But when it comes to photographs and graphics; they often failed me by color inconsistencies, pale color, blotching, etc. Save money, time and your sanity. Nothing beats the real thing.

I've used generic inks and Epson inks and will never go back to the generics for photos. The colors aren't as true and photos fade very fast with the generic inks. I don't care what I use to print the majority of my documents but I'll only use Epson ink for photos.
