dennis t : will ink cartridges for Stylus R2400 work in Stylus Pro 3880?FREDERICK G : I don't know. I would only use the proper cartridges for your particular printer. When a printer costs as much as the 3880 I would not mess with other cartridges.DENNIS S : No, they are completely different.FRANK P : No. 3880 is a professional level printer with large cartridges. The 2400 is a consumer printer with much smaller cartridges. The cost per ML for 3880 ink is much less than small cartridge 2400. In the long run you will save alot of $$$$ by buying the 3880z also if you back out the cost of the ink that comes with the 3880 the inital cost of the printer is low especially with a rebate when they are available. I have Haden's for years with no problems and very little maintenance, practically none ( clogs, jambs, etc) JOHN B : I do not know since I have never owned a Stylus R2400.JAMES E : Sorry, never really tried that combination. I just buy the ink cartridges specified in the manual. They are expensive, but they last a long time. I had an Epson guy tell me that if they pass the theoretical expiration date, take them out and shake them a bit and they are good as new.DOUG R : Not that I know of. Check your cartridge numbers before opening the seal.ROBERT H : I use the printer mostly for AutoCad drawings so the Matte Black and Photo Black work equally well. I had replaced one of the black earlier. This is definitely the best printer I've owned and the ink set works great. Thank you....JeffJOHN G : Hi Jeff, I have the R3880 and the set of inks was delivered with a Light Magenta cartridge (T5806} instead of the listed Vivid Light Magenta (T580B). Perhaps an error when packing the shipment as the ink boxes were all separate in the box. The Shopper should check the cartridge numbers for an exact match. Otherwise the inks are working quite well. It's slightly odd that the set comes with 8 ink cartridges since the Epson 3880s use 9. Photo Black is included, but not Matte Black.

Best ink for the best printer

My Epson 3880 only uses one kind of ink and this is it, albeit only one of eight color and black cartridges needed to print. Now that my final cartridge has arrived, I can get back to creating art that will last 99-years, thanks to Epson?s unique pigment ink process.

Great Product - Shipping is Terrible

It?s an ink cartridge from Epson. What is there to say about it. It?s OEM! But I can say that the shipping from Adaroma is absolutely terrible. I ordered another cartridge the same day. It said it was in stock. Four days later my order status was ?in process?. When I inquired about it I was told it would ship the next day. This happened to me once before with Adorama. I cancelled the order and ordered one from elsewhere. I also cancelled the one that was on back order. Who knows how long I would have had to wait before they shipped it. I also cancelled my account. Never again will I order anything from Adorama.

If you have a 3880 buy Epson Ink

I do professional photo printing and my 3880 has been a workhorse. Having tried third party inks once and being disappointed I stay with Epson for consistent quality of the images. Also the useful life is MUCH longer than the date on the side. I found some old cartridges that were ‘lost’ in a move and were 3 years ‘out of date’ and they worked perfectly. Prompt service, the best price anywhere and fresh stock from Adorama

Epson Ink

I always purchase Epson ink from Adorama. The expiration date is far enough that I know the ink cartridge is relatively fresh. Epson ink is only ink I buy for my Epson printer...I wouldn't trust any other The only complain is that it took a while to get delivered, but that's how it is now with this pandemic.
