The answer great. The problem is that the Epson 7900 printer clogs up frequently. Epson needs to do something about that and hopefully has with their new printer version.

this ink is perfect
With the Epson UltraChrome HDR 700 ml Yellow High Density Resin Pigment Based Ink, you can unlock the full potential of your Stylus Pro 7890, 7900, 9890, and 9900 Inkjet Printers. This revolutionary ink technology is Epson's first ten-color offering, designed to significantly broaden the color gamut and enhance digital printing capabilities, particularly in the package and remote proofing market segments.
The UltraChrome HDR ink is a high-density resin-coated pigment ink formulation, featuring a three-level black ink technology - photo black, light black, and light light black. It also includes cyan, light cyan, vivid magenta, vivid light magenta, yellow, orange, and green. An on-board matte black is also available and can be auto-switched with photo black.
This generation of UltraChrome HDR ink is designed to deliver superior results, including reduced graininess in skin tone areas, smoother tonal gradation from shadows to highlights, and excellent short-term color stability. It also offers outstanding long-term lightfastness, highly accurate color control with neutral black and white, and high gloss levels on water-resistant prints.
The ink cartridges come in two high-capacity sizes, 350ml and 700ml, which contribute to a lower cost per milliliter of ink. These high-capacity cartridges also reduce the need for frequent replacements, promoting greater unattended printing.
The Stylus Pro 7900 and 9900 printers are equipped with Epson's MicroPiezo TFP (Thin Film Piezo) print head, featuring 360 nozzles per inch for each of the ten active ink cartridges. Epson's Ink Repelling Coating for the print head and Automatic Ink Detection (AID) system work together to minimize downtime by detecting and preventing nozzle clogging, and eliminating paper waste used during the cleaning process.
Epson's AID technology uses a sensor near the print head that counts the electrical charges on the ink droplets as they are fired. A lower than expected electrical charge indicates insufficient ink was fired, triggering the print head cleaning process automatically. This results in dramatically increased print speeds compared to current 8-color 24 inch and 44 inch printers, with the Stylus Pro 7900 capable of completing an A1 (720x720dpi) sellable quality print on Epson's Premium Glossy Photo Paper in an impressive 5 minutes.
