Of course, it's the only game in town. The ink looks and works great. Be aware that there is an oily carrier that goes on the print which evaporates over time. I haven't seen a problem with non-RC papers. Apparently the stuff soaks into the paper where it does no harm. But with RC papers it can't absorb, and so it winds up on the back of the glass of framed prints. I have managed to mitigate the problem somewhat by covering RC papers with newsprint which seems to absorb much of the oil. It's an incomplete fix, but it seems to help.

Epson Ultrachrom HDR ink is fantastic. Very vibrant colors, very long lifetime, and it's a prefect match for the Epson printers. Accept no substitute! It does have one problem... If you print on RC materials the ink outgasses some kind of oily film onto the back of glass over time. It's nasty and you can see it on framed prints. I sandwich RC prints between sheets of newsprint for at least 24 hours - longer if possible, and that helps.

If you're seeking exceptional print quality and vibrant colors, look no further than the UltraChrome HDR 150 ml. Cyan High Density Resin Pigment Based Ink, designed specifically for the Epson Stylus Pro 7890, 7900, 9890, and 9900 inkjet printers. This revolutionary ink technology is Epson's first ten-color offering, featuring a unique pigment ink formulation that includes orange and green, significantly expanding the color gamut and opening up new possibilities in the package and remote proofing market segments.
The UltraChrome HDR ink is a high-density resin-coated pigment ink that incorporates a three-level black ink technology - photo black, light black, and light light black - along with cyan, light cyan, vivid magenta, vivid light magenta, yellow, orange, and green. A matte black option is also included and can be auto-switched with photo black for added versatility.
This generation of UltraChrome HDR ink delivers reduced graininess in skin tone areas, smoother tonal gradation from shadows to highlights, and excellent short-term color stability. It also boasts outstanding long-term lightfastness, highly accurate color control with neutral black and white, and high gloss levels on water-resistant prints.
The UltraChrome HDR 150 ml. Cyan High Density Resin Pigment Based Ink is also cost-effective, thanks to the introduction of high-capacity ink cartridges that lower the cost per milliliter of ink and reduce the need for frequent cartridge replacements, promoting greater unattended printing.
The Stylus Pro 7900 and Stylus Pro 9900 printers, for which this ink is designed, feature Epson's MicroPiezo TFP (Thin Film Piezo) print head with 360 nozzles per inch for each of the ten active ink cartridges. Epson's Ink Repelling Coating for the print head and Automatic Ink Detection (AID) system work together to minimize and detect nozzle clogging beforehand, eliminating downtime and reducing paper waste used during the cleaning process.
Experience dramatically increased print speed compared to current 8-color 24-inch and 44-inch printers, with the Stylus Pro 7900 completing an A1 (720x720dpi) sellable quality print on Epson's Premium Glossy Photo Paper in an impressive 5 minutes. Choose the UltraChrome HDR 150 ml. Cyan High Density Resin Pigment Based Ink for a reliable, high-quality, and efficient printing solution.
