Genuine Epson product
I have received it, but not used it yet. It is in an original Epson box. I saw that my waste ink reservoir is getting near full and hope to use this new one soon (as I don't print that many pages with my WorkForce WF-7620, I primarily use this as a scanner, not printer).

I am very pleased with my purchase experience and so grateful that there is an alternative to the big "A" for online ordering of equipment and parts! The price for the maintenance box was fair, it arrived within the estimated time frame, it was in perfect condition, and extremely simple to install - even for me. It also means that I don't have to go out and buy a new printer which makes me super happy!

Did the Job
Who knew that this is required? Apparently your old maintenance box can be rechipped and cleaned, but didn't seem worth the time for $. Got and installed it, printer back to working. Just hate to waste the old one, would be nice if there's some way to recycle it.

This is what you need to catch your drip ink
I've got to be honest, an ink-catching drip box is not a glamorous purchase. But when your stupid Epson printer starts throwing random errors and not telling you why it won't print any more, this may just be the thing that saves a big piece of plastic from the landfill. It doesn't look like much: a plastic box stuffed with absorbent material, but it does the deed. The process of replacing the box on my WF-7110 was completely painless: pull the old box out, put the new box in. I understand it is not a user-serviceable part on other printers, which means your (probably not all that expensive) printer is just junk. Anyway, I recommend this guy. Not that you have any other options, of course.
