Epson VS250 SVGA 3LCD Projector, 800x600, 3200 Lumens - Refurbished by Epson

After a little over 3 months of daily use, one of my two vs250?s blew a lamp. One phone call and a new lamp was sent out. I?ve tried shopping other brands. I?ve found that it is hard to find anyone giving accurate brightness specs quite like epson did/does. In the picture, you can see first hand a side by side comparison between one of my epson vs250?s next to a higher def budget projector which claimed almost double the lumens as the epson. While the resolution was indeed better, they lie about their brightness. Epson wins despite the resolution. It doesn?t help me if it?s too dark to see. Primary use is for gaming.

This is such a great projector for our church! It's very bright and clear! Very easy to read the the songs and scriptures even from the back of the church. It's not a large church, around 120 seats but it would work for a church with probably 200 +I'm sure. Very happy with this purchase!

We bought this projector for "covid" safe outdoor movies with family and friends. It works great and we have been very pleased. In the dark rural area we live in we are projecting on a 22' by 14' canvas screen (two 15' by 12' canvas drop cloths side by side) and it looks great 100 feet away. The only thing I would change would be an audio out on the projector but this is only a problem with a HDMI cable. RCA connections on older DVD players and headphone jacks on laptops are easy to hook up to audio equipment so we plan for that. A HDMI audio extractor will be my next purchase.

I have used Epson projectors for quite some time & the quality is always superb. My disappointment with the VS250 (and I discovered this after the fact of purchasing that many people have the same issue with many Epson projectors) is that I also had to purchase a HDMI converter in order to have an external sound source. There is no Sound Out option on this VS250! Now that I have the converter, works like a charm...just an add'l expense I wasn't expecting. Many people still wonder why Epson does not provide a sound out option. Issue number 2 (and I hope I can figure out how to remedy this) is the default setting for the zoom is at the lowest point, so every time I turn on the projector, I must zoom out to get the desired size image I need. Hopefully I can discover how to change the default to be set to higher zoom level.

I have used the projector for 3 services thus far. The video works well from a wired computer but converting the video to the file type needed for a USB stick to be used without a computer gave a grainy picture. The USB usage does not allow a power point to be used but I have converted my power point slides to .jpg with success.

We bought the Epson VS250 projector (from Amazon) to use for home TV and movies. So far it has exceeded our expectations! We purchased an Epson 100" portable screen with it and attach our soundbar (via Bluetooth) for extra added sound. Our kids and their friends love it! The lumens is exceptional and we are able to even watch when it is still light outside. Of course when it becomes darker - it is even better. We are looking forward to using it more often with friends to socially distance watching movies. Highly recommend especially for the price point.

I purchased to have "movie nights" at my backyard with my daughters and neighbors. Great picture, easy to set up. Love it. Also I hanged at my loft for my indoor theater...Love it.

My husband and I have a consulting business. We recently conducted a workshop and were very impressed with this VS250 SVGA 3LCD projector. It was easy to use for a beginners like us. The picture quality was also great. I also appreciate how light weight the projector was. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

We used the Projector in 2 well-lit rooms and can say the LUMEN rating is quite right. FINALLY the slides look as pretty as they SHOULD have all this time!!! The ONE thing we did NOT like is that it does NOT have audio out to hook up speakers. The speakers are fine for small rooms, but in large conference rooms we have to put a MIC into the projector's speaker, which isn't the most desirable, technically speaking. When they put an AUDIO out, this will get the 5 stars.

Bought this unit a couple of weeks ago used it one time for a speaker who spoke to our group. We didn't have any issues with the unit as it worked as it suppose too which was good on our part as our speaker was happy the way it hook it up to his computer for his talk.
