Printing not existent

I cannot get this to print. After several downloads of software and drivers, only the test pages print. Printer is connected to Wifi, registered during download process, cartridges are new. I'm totally frustrated.

Great large sheet printer/scanner

I have used this printer for three years. It is heavy-weight and rugged. it scans efficiently both sheet-fed and from the platen. Because of its large platen size, scans of larger documents are possible. It prints very quickly for an inkjet printer. Normal print settings for ink conservation are a bit light, but it can be adjusted to make print darker. Included scan software does a moderately good job of adjusting for scan material condition - light/dark, newspaper, magazine, etc. Paper tray is a little awkward, but not bad and it holds only ~200 sheets of paper. For this workhorse of a printer more sheets would be desirable. Ink cartridges need to hold more - they contain little and require frequent replacement.

was great at first now it's driving me crazy

In the beginning everything was great. The wifi printing worked great, the color photographs I printed were beautiful, and it quickly printed documents. For the past year and half i have been having many problems. Every time i go to print I have to reset the wifi- I often get a message - after successfully using it to print documents- that the printer does not recognize the cartridges ( even when I have not touched the cartridges. BTW I always use the pricey Epson cartridges) I try cleaning the print heads, turning the printer on and off, everything I can think of. I end up buying NEW cartridges even though the ones I have are NOT empty) then it prints again, but now - even though it has all new color cartridges, it is only printing black and white.

Mostly good

I have had for a while, love that I can use 11 x 17 for designs, but a plastic part broke that has to do with the tension/lifting of the paper roller/feeder, and as a result, have a faint black line going down the printing intermittently. as the roller that touches the paper can't lift out of the way fully. It was out of warranty when I realized it was broken, so didn't even contact Epson. I wish there was an inexpensive way for me to repair. I have the broken pieces, but don't think the plastic can be glued back and be stable, and it may be difficult to access that area to replace it. If I need quality prints to deliver to a client, I have to go to Office Depot to have the color copies made.

Do not Recommend

This is my third Epson printer. Works fine when it works. Like all Epsons, constant printhead clogging and alignment issues. Very high maintenance machine. Very expensive ink replacement cartridges.

Just wish I could get it to print on legal paper

I have had this printer for a couple of years. Just had my computer quit on me and had to replace it, so had to download the drivers again.

Great Printer

I originally bought this printer for the office, it is now in my home office. I purchased another Epson, that also printed 11"x 17", for the office. And at the same time purchase the same one in my home office for my partner in his home office.

Great Scanner - worst printer I have ever owned

Have changed ink cartridges, ran tests, still light prints, banding and spotty prints.

My favorite printer/scanner

I have purchased FOUR of these. They eventually wore out from my heavy usage. I love that they had an 11x17 inch scanning area, that was the selling point. The last one I bought, I had sitting in the box for over a year because the one I was replacing it with still basically worked but I knew it would not last forever and that I would be sorry if I didn't get a replacement when I found it on sale for a great price, so I bought it early and then had it sitting here for all that time. Unfortunately, once I finally set it up and retired the previous one, the new one did not print! Very faint if any images on the printout attempts. The ink casettes were in the tight plastic shrinkwrap but must have solidified or dried or something despite that. Wish I could get help troubleshooting but when I called of course the warranty had expired. Wish Epson would allow some minimal support for general questions, like what might I try to fix this so I can PRINT? Other than that I am a fan of how well the auto paper feeder generally works on most paper, etc. which is not always the case with other printers! And again, the 11x17 big scanner, that is VERY useful for me.

don’t buy

This is my 2nd one of these in 3 years. Nothing but trouble and doesn’t print well. Save yourself the money and buy something better than this wf -7610. I thought the 1st one was a fluke but after the second one started the same problem with printing I said never again will I buy a Epson.

It's a workhorse

I had this printer for 4 years now and had nothing to complain about. I use only Epson genuine ink. About 3 years ago one morning it woke up with an error message on the screen. It wouldn't clear so I called Epson support. They told me it cannot be fixed so they will send me a new one. Printer was out of warranty!!!! 3 days later I had a new WF-7610. Return shipping label for the old one, included. Excelent service Thank you Epson. If you could just drop the prices on those ink cartridges, please!

I expected better with an Epson

I have this printer now for about 3-4 years. The scanner has been good but the prints themselves are lackluster at best. I've run all of the diagnostics to improve the quality but typically there are lines that run through color prints. I would not buy this again or recommend.

I bought this printer a few years ago for my home office and I just re-registered it. Very well worth the money.

the catridge clogh easy

I bough this product on may 2018. 8 months later I start having problems with a printer head clog and making bad printings, the rest of the functions work fine but the printer aspect is a mess. I always bought the expensive toners to avoid any problems, but seems to my is the same thing use after market ink and original. you will end up changing this product. one more thing if you buy the insurance if there is not a physical or electrical damage they do not even look at your claim.

VERY disappointing - Multi-Function only in name

1) Fails to pair with a PC when both are connected to a known-good Wi-Fi network. 2) Epson has an absolutely PATHETIC control of application SW, with three different Epson-recommended downloads to interface with the printer. 3) Prints blank pages when toner is low, but has no problem printing a legible supply sheet with the same level of toner - doesn't make sense. 4) Nonsensical that Epson does not recognize MS Office and Adobe PDF as recognizable and prominent file formats when printing from a USB; Epson only recognizes JPEG and TIFF, meaning ALL documents needed to be converted or manually transcribed into PowerPoint, saved as jpeg images (plural if there is more than one slide, meaning PowerPoint will save each slide as an independent JPEG file as Slide1.jpg, Slide2.jpg, etc.), and then printed.

Error Code 0x97

Just look for this Error Code. Need I say more. They used to make a good printer but now I can;t say the same. They will not support this error code so don't bother buying one.

I used to think that Epson was THE best

I still do as far as colorwork goes, but my printer has started printing all my pages on about a 10 degree slant. This, I do not like.I saw nothing about a way to correct this in the manual. Pehaps I just don't know what to call it.

Not as reliable as I would have thought

I bought this at Office Depot at a reasonable price as I my firm and I have been using Epson for many years. Unfortunately this 7610 and its predecessor ( which required me to buy a new printer) have both been total fails. Not sure what is going on with Epson but I am not buying anymore of them.

Workforce WF-7610

Worked fine for a couple of years. Overall pleased, but, the printheads are now clogged and the printer produces poor quality. We have taken it out of sevice.
