I bought a XP-15000 from Best Buy. NO ONE carries the ink for it, forcing me to keep excess ink stock on hand. I noticed the page yield is 850 - I've printed <60 4x6 sheets and I've replaced ink twice.

It's the best value on the market right now. I'm coming from an old Epson Photo 2200 with archival inks; the resolution and vibrancy of this printer are far superior, especially considering it's available at a fraction of the cost. It is hard to justify the higher-end models from Epson or Canon, as this has the same picolitre size; therefore, the only difference really lies in the archival inks. If you don't need the archival inks (most of us do not), then this is the best printer in today's market for the money - VALUE.

The Canon Pro-10 was a tank. It was quirky from the start. I had a lot of trouble getting it connected to my network, then gave up and connected it via cable. It was really slow. Then after a while several of its colour inks refused to flow. I tried all the maintenance solutions to no avail. The Epson XP-15000 is so much lighter, quieter and easier to use. My only complaint, easily remedied, is that colour prints come out over-saturated compared to what I see on my screen in Capture One. The black&white prints are more detailed and punchier. Well done Epson!

I've had the printer a few months, only done a hand full of 8*10 and 5*7 glossy photo paper prints. The quality is excellent. User tip: Load photo paper in the cassette business end down (upside down)glossy side down

I am not happy with this printer. Finding it frustrating that it keeps getting stuck, there is not a lot of control with quality and colour accuracy when printing from Lightroom and hardly any software available specific to Epson that supports this particular printer.

This printer is a giant time suck. I get a 'Filter Failed' error all the time that requires me to run through a 13-step process involved trashing all the printer drivers and other associated files from my computer, then downloading a new printer driver from the Epson website, then reconnecting the printer to my wifi network which for some reason always takes a day and a half. The printheads ALWAYS need cleaning, which eats up soooo much ink. There are all these youtube videos to tell you how to clean your printer but nothing on the Epson website itself. The prints themselves, once you get the printer to work, are pretty good, but I'll be spending the money on a more reliable printer next time.

I ordered this printer for my business with an event coming up that I now have to cancel because epson sent me a camera case instead. They are investigating why but it's the weekend so I'll have to wait 3 days to hear back then if they decide I'm telling the truth another week for that printer to be sent. I'm sick of companies walking all over their consumers

So far this printer has exceeded my expectations. It replaced an Epson XP-950 which I used to print CDs and liner notes, photos, etc. and it prints in awesome quality.

This printer worked for about 6 months. Then I left it sitting on my desk until I tried to use it again a little after a year after I bought it. I've tried multiple times to print again, and I have so many issues. I have bought new ink cartridges (even though my old ones weren't out, they just couldn't be recognized). I've done a system update, I've cleaned my print head nozzle probably 10 times now. Nothing that I print will look good, the colors are completely off. What is supposed to be green, is blue. There are streaks in my prints that completely warp the photo. Completely not ok, given I have barely used my printer, but no one can do anything about it only because my warranty just expired?

I purchased this printer 6-1/2 months ago to produce smaller photographic prints for matting and selling at craft shows with my daughter. So far I have printed 100 or more finished prints (many more test prints) in sizes from 5x7 to 11x17 without any image quality issues. Our home is Apple oriented and my wife and I both love the wireless feature for printing off anything from our iPads, iPhones, MacBooks and MacMini m1. It is so cool the way the printer turns on automatically, the tray slides out and after the print has been made the printer shuts down again. We particularly like the built in carriage that always has a stack of basic inkjet paper in it, with an amazing automatic double sided print feature. My wife is a quilt maker and mostly prints off instructions and layouts - so once she caught on to this setting, appreciated not have to waste so much extra paper when printing out multi-page documents. Recently we successfully printed a 20 page zine on double sided glossy photo paper, without a hitch. Importantly as a retired couple, we now have mostly unframed printed photos sitting around on dressers and countertops of our personal travel adventures and family memories. As for paper jam, I've had one in all this time. I panicked when I tried to print a document using the paper cartridge and a terrible grinding and clicking started with no print coming out. I was certain I had destroyed the printer and unplugged it immediately. Not knowing what was going on, I went to my trusty CoPilot app (AI) on my phone and informed me how to unlatch the back of the printer and remove the jam. When I opened it, I found that a sheet of inexpensive Avery style labels had got mixed in when I added sheets of paper - and a few of the labels had releases and wrapped around the mechanism. Embarrassing. Thank goodness no damage was done and the printer has soldiered on since then. That's not a knock on the printer though. Inks are expensive, but I'm used to that having used Epson printers since the early 2000's. I made a conscientious choice to pay less for the printer and accept the higher cost at this time, than paying substantially more for the printer with the lower cost eco tanks. FYI. A great tip that I think I have benefitted from, is to run an ink test about every week. It takes a few seconds, doesn't use much ink, and as far as I know it uses every nozzle to generate the thin lines of each colour. I am not using for the purpose of determining if the print head needs cleaning, but to lower the odds of ink drying up and nozzles needing cleaning. Especially if I weren't to print anything for a few weeks. So far, so good.

Just bought this to replace a much loved and wonderful 3800 pro that died of old age. Just finished the setup and printed a test of a word document lesson plan. I use different highlight colors to link lesson elements. Right of the bat, I saw that colors that were supposed to be different (Pink and Orange) were not immediately distinguishable. It might work better with photo paper, but I'm not using that for lesson plans. I'll switch colors, realize that a $300 printer is NOT going to do the same job as one of their 10 color printers. You get what you pay for.

Remember me Epson! I've spent way too much of my time dealing with your subpar customer service. Only to get transferred to corporate to get a snippy person telling me it could not be your products that completely stink! on the review that I left previously they gave me the wonderful customer service number that didn't help. Not only did it not help, but when I was promised to get another printer, which I don't think would help the situation anyway because I think Epson is a subpar product to begin with, told me that my warranty was up. Even though after I installed the new drivers, it actually exacerbated the issues that I was having to begin with, and caused another slough of issues! nothing was true to color !!!! please please please do not buy this product. You will not get help and you will definitely not be happy. !!! And Epson, whether customer service or corporate will not be helpful. They will just keep sending you more numbers that won't help. Again, I wish I had a boat because I would use this printer for my anchor!

The paper will jam while printing. Discussed with the Epson tech support person and cannot resolve the issue, so the printer was returned to Epson. I am still waiting for the refund.

to say i hate tis particular printer more than any other printer i have ever used in my life is an understatement. This printer was purchased to produce art prints from my watercolor art and came highly recommended by other artists. I have no idea what these people love about it! This printer could be on all the same settings as i had them on before and produce one lovely image and then print again and produce the absolute worst image ever! I am extremely disappointed ! for the amount of money its basically worthless to me and is a butt- ton of trouble but since i can't return it and we are in a crappy economy I'm stuck with it. The amount of time it takes to figure out what persnickety detail i missed has basically cost me money. The image below were printed on the exact same settings. I wish i had a boat because i would use this Epson EX 15000 for a boat anchor.

I researched to find the right artist quality printer for my business. It is most definitely not this one! I bought this printer last year and it never printed even close to what I was expecting. I contacted them to try and fix it, nothing worked. After much back and forth with Epson I sent it back, but they would only send a replacement. The second printer is exactly the same as the first one. Colours are dull and it has lines through it, very visible lines. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement.

One of the best inkjet printer I ever got. And it's a wide format.

2024-05-27T20:00:00
It might print great images but you can only print a limited number before running out of ink. It WILL NOT print if you are out of a color and still have a full black cartridge. The charge for more ink makes it extremely expensive to print from home. I'd recommend finding a printer with better software and support.

Almost too cumbersome to use. Nothing is gained by having two feed sources. I primarily use a printer to print photographs...larger than 8X10. It would be nice if the output tray would automatically retract when you power the unit off!

This appears to be an excellent printer. I am pleased and impressed with the quality of the images it has produced. While it will print wide format images, it nonetheless folds up nicely for storage. Because you only need to use the rear feed for printing larger images, the printer can be placed and utilized while in a smaller cabinet on account of the reduced space needed. This is a great option for photographers who want only a good printer and either already have or don't need a scanner. Why only four stars? Ultimately a full assessment of any technology cannot be made in only a few weeks or even months of usage. How this printer works over time is yet to be determined. I can only be hopeful that it continues to serve me well.

I purchased this printer in June 2022. The yellow ink feature conked out in early December of 2023. The nozzle print-out sheet showed the yellow space as completely blank! There was a half a cartridge of yellow ink present. I then purchased another 15000 at the end of December and the EXACT same thing occurred with the yellow printing feature after just using this new printer in the second week of January. Since this was under warranty, Epson sent a replacement unit which now works fine and hopefully this yellow ink difficulty - or any other color ink - doesn't happen again.

I just bought this printer and received it in the mail. I made a quick purchase because my HP printer that handles large paper quit working so I needed a substitute fast. I bought this partly because of the -$50 discount going on, but right after clicking "Purchase" I regretted not getting the Ecotank instead, even though it costs more. I thought - that's okay, I'm sure that they will let me easily exchange this for the other printer since I realized my mistake. NOPE. They won't pay for return shipping, so that will set me back another $70. So much for the discount!! Since Epson won't offer a free exchange, that pushed me over the edge to choose the Canon PROGRAF instead. I'd rather use my remaining funds towards a better quality printer with better customer care. I can't speak to how the printer actually worked since I didn't even open the box.

Three year old printer, with paper path issues. When printing double-sided, the paper jams, and the print attempt fails. Quality 24lb paper. I've tried to clean the rollers.

Usually, I never have any photos as hard copies because of the hassle to get them printed. I would always have to go the nearest photo development place to get them and that sometimes is a huge hassle. Nowadays, since they’re all digital photos, I don’t feel the need to print them anyway. However, this photo printer is a huge improvement in the photo printing game. Just recently, we had a wedding in the family and this printer came in just in time! Nothing beats dye!
By dwightlooi
I have been a user of Epson printers for years. When in comes to photo printers you have basically two choices when it comes to inks today -- Dyes or Pigments. With Epsons (today) this comes down to the Claria HD (6-color dye) and the Ultrachrome HD (9-color) pigment ink sets. Dyes LOOK BETTER. Pigments LASTS LONGER. Now, many professions get stuck with the idea that pigments are required for a professional print but that's nonsense. I have dye prints from 15 years ago that haven't faded so f...
