I just bought this printer and looking forward to another great Epson product. I have had Epson printers for 30 years.

I intend to use this computer just for use with my computer. Once I got to the point of installing and running your installation disc things went very well. But out of the box I hated your quick guide. & Setting up the computer instructions. The two notable irritations were that it gave me a warning that there was something wrong with the paper. It wasn't that at all, it was because the top tray wasn't pulled out. The second thing was that you not only didn't provide me with USB cable you didn't even give me a number or type that I should purchase. At this point I haven't tried to print anything from my computer. I hope that goes smother and not complicated. .

Love the print results. Don’t like the short lifespan of ink. Also difficult to locate ink.

Keeps telling me to extend the drawer (output tray) when it's already extended. Multiple items in "queue". Closing and reopening tray, or cancelling print jobs, and trying print again has no effect has no effect. Instructions and online guide are useless!

It doesn't work well on network, so I usually have to use a USB cable. The face needs to be flipped up and the output tray pulled out all the way out in order to print anything; if the tray is almost all the way out it won't print. No touchscreen, so the toggle buttons are used to navigate everything; you have to hit the middle of the button or it won't register as hit. Once it decides it's out of a color of ink, it won't let you print another page until you replace the cartridge (I'm willing to accept decreased quality for standard printing over late-night runs to the store). It takes a long time to spool up, but print quality is good and photos are nice. I can't really recommend it, though, and my husband refuses to use it. Next printer will be a competitor.

In addition to complaints listed in other reviews, we've found that we cannot ever print double-sided or it jams. Doesn't matter how much paper we have in the cassette, if it's fresh paper, if the paper is properly fed or not, if the wind is blowing east—it still jams. We have to make sure to select single sided printing to avoid it.

I bought this printer in Nov 2018 when I lived in Delaware and have loved it, right up until I switched to Windows 10 and it would no longer print PDFs and then when I tried to scan some papers to my computer I couldn't do that. In desperation I have finally found my CD to reload the complete printer again. I am praying that this works because if it doesn't I will end up buying another computer (MAC/Apple) and getting rid of Windows 10 which has not thrilled me since I got it in Dec.

After initial install and printing a few documents, printer worked fine. Then try to print a month later and all the ink cartridges need to be replaced.

This printer is very frustrating to use. It is continually going offline and needs to be "fixed" every time a print is needed.

I got this print slightly used from my boyfriend. We got it connected to my computer through Wi-Fi. But it won't print due to a problem with the drivers. Already spent 30 minutes on phone with rep, who was patient and helpful, to get the correct drivers. But even with those, it still won't print! Very frustrating!!!!

Love this printer when it works. It might be my old computer or it's the software for the printer but it doesn't always talk to my computer when scanning and I have to force it to scan from my computer not using the printer control panel.

I've used Epson All-in-One home printers for decades now and enjoyed them all. And enjoy this one - mostly. Two Bugs: 1. The Scanner 2 software sucks. It works, but it is almost impossible to set the file name for the scan. And there is no option to select the precise area to be scanned. (And the Preview scan area overlaps the settings for the scan so you cannot read / adjust them.) The scanner also adds a border when scanning borderless photos, so you then have to manualy crop the scanned image to get rid of the border. BUT. This leads me to Bug 2 ... 2. When printing photos, the printer "expands" the image so that edges of the image do not make it onto the printed photo. (Imagine a 4x6 image is "expanded" by the printer software to a 4.5x6.5 file size, and then during printing onto 4x6 photo paper, 1/4 inch on each side of the original image is not printed.) There are settings that say "Retain Size" and "Fit picture to frame" that suggest you can negate this default. But I have wasted a lot of work establishing that you cannot override this cropping of printed photos. I'm not what other printers are like (Maybe they all have this issue), but if scanning and printing photos is a key issue, I would not recommend this printer - look elsewhere. The photo below shows the original file, and the printed photo. On the left you can see that the hand has been cropped to remove the thumb; and on the right, the face has been cropped to remove even more of the eye, cheek and hair - important aspects of this unposed / hurried family photo.

The most infuriating printer of all time.. Continually has network issues and Wi-Fi direct. I have both 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz.. Never stay attached to any computer or phone.. Have to re- setup everytime. THis always plugged in and 3ft from the router.. Absolute garbage.. Better to hand write a letter or draw a picture in crayon by the time this gets working.

Replacing my Epson XP630. This was an easy set up for wireless connection to my computer. A little slower to print but fine for my needs. Very good b + w and color printing. I do not print photos. Wish I could permanently set for 2 sided printing. Expensive ink cartridges but pretty much in line with other brands. Happy so far with this purchase. Hope it lasts for awhile.

I have used an older Epson printer for many years. It never had a problem until something fell into the printer and broke it. I am thankful I needed to replace my old printer. This new printer is so much more than I knew possible and the price thru Epson's website was way lower than everywhere. Fast free shipping too. #Epson4life!!!

Constantly having communication errors, updated drivers, firmware, and anything else I can. Even with my new computer, it still prints one time and not the next. Contacted support and it worked for a few days, then back to the same issue.

I bought this printer 5 to 6 moths ago and it is working beautifully and the pictures come out great. I would definitely recommend printer to friends and family.

Printer worked great until last few Mac updates. Now on thord reload of updated software and it still will not print, Beginning to see why Consumers no longer recommends Epson. I am sure I will eventually get this thing to work but now with Epson it takes several hours to make a print
