Every time I go to print a page I have to reload the paper because inside the paper tray there is a plastic piece that holds the paper in place at the correct size moves and then I have to rearrange everything in order to print the next page. It is very annoying and waste a lot of time. When it does print the copy is really good.

This is a very useful app.For a very long time, I always wanted to be able to print documents from my iPad Air but thought it can't be done until today. One gripe though, I wish the app would let me adjust the font size or somehow to adjust the size of document to fit on an 8"x11" paper size.

This printer was purchased over a year ago and I thought I registered it then. I just purchased a Win10 desktop computer and it apparently re-registered when I installed the drivers on this computer. The printer uses wifi for printing and a USB for uploading scanned images. It can also store images on a memory card. The ink lasts for about a year but I don't print that often, once or twice a month except during tax time. Also, the ink cartridges are more reasonably priced than those of other printers I've owned.

I bought this printer a couple years ago. Ser # X2DZ274577. I subscribed to the Easy Replenishment program at Best Buy via sales representative. Downloaded the software and systems recognize printer. It has been nothing but easy! My most recent interaction with EPSON Geek Squad (Rhonda, Derrick, Lewis) was highly unsatisfactory. First call, 11 minute wait for Rhonda, she was to transfer to Easy Replenishment. Call dropped. Waited another 11 minutes to speak with Derrick, who transferred me to Lewis who works in Rewards (miss-directed call). Lewis informed me there are no Easy Replenishment agents, the department does not exist. Lewis guided me to the Easy Replenishment page to order supplies. Each link circled me back, it was a loop! I'm still not able to order ink through the Easy Replenishment Program. Seems to be a training and web page issue issue! I am computer literate. Can you resolve this for me? I do need ink right now, my printer is stopped until ink cartridge is replaced. I'm going to Staples to purchase ink in the meantime. Thank you!

I purchased this printer after researching all printers that are capable of printing directly onto a CD or DVD disc. Rumor is most models with this feature are, or will be discontinued by various manufacturers, Very easy to setup and use this feature. Love it!

Got this to replace an XP-830 that had sit for too long and couldn't get it to work. I still had 100+ $ of ink, and this uses the same ink. I don't miss the scanner auto feed, since I rarely used it. Was able to get this one to connect to my phone which is good. The manual was not at All clear for that process.

This is a unit that does everything I need it to and does it well. My two problems are having to pull out the tray and open two doors to let the printed pieces out and the effort it takes to go from letter to legal sized paper. Other than that, it takes up little space for all it does and the wi-fi and other features work very well. I would definitely recommend this printer for the casual user that needs a quality product.

I got this for my anniversary and I received it today. I have used it after set up and it seems to work great. I still have to use the CD/DVD print function and the scanner function.

I bought a refurbished Epson XP-640 to replace a very old Epson RX500. The print quality is great. The small tray (#2) was confusing in the beginning. However, I just pushed it in far enough to not see it, since it will seldom be used. The print cartridges are a bit touchy to get in the correct position to snap-in compared to the RX500, which was very easy.

I have used Epson printers for years, but this one disappoints a bit. No complaints about print quality, but the time from a click on print until a single sheet is in the tray can be as long as 45 seconds. Way too long.

I bought my XP-640 over two years ago and it has been a great printer. I have had several other printers of various brands and made the decision a long time ago to only buy only Epson. I have the WF-2860 printer, the Epson V30 scanner and the XP-640. I especially like the 640 because of its ability to print on CD discs and DVDs. I have it set up wireless while my other products are through USB ports. I use the 640 as a wireless printer for my cell phone and tablet. I do a lot of home DVDs and really like how the Epson prints on them as well as the quality of the case labels I print using both the XP-640 and the WF-2860

We purchased two of these XP-640 printers for our small business on sale at office depot. Unfortunately, they no longer work. A few months ago we experienced disconnect, unable to find and network error. 1 yr almost to the date of purchasing NO PRINT DRIVER AVAILABLE. So how is it, these printers at one time worked great, the ability to email to the printer from home was great for our small business and now there are no print drivers available? It was working, now it does not work and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. Last week, I uninstalled the printers for the 5th time and reinstalled. It worked for two days and now I get an error saying there are no print drivers available for this printer. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?

Auto updates of software are seemingly unavoidable and frequently cause problems. Epson feels manipulative in user interface and nakedly hard sell about using only Epson brand expensive cartridges. I don't usually respond to requests for reviews, but my relation with my printer is a recurring headache.
