Great little printer for small spaces.
Very neat little printer that prints quite fast both color and b/w. Print quality is good but not exceptional. A little pricey but does the job.

Easy to use with nice features
I bought this one month ago to replace my Epson 620. The set up was straight forward and very easy to accomplish. I was impressed with Epson's recycling service. All I had to do was print a shipping label, pack the 620 up and send it back to them. Nice.

Easy set up
It goes perfect with my new Mac book pro 12.1 - M1. No hassles setting up. The pictures look amazing. Make sure you use epson photo paper and regular printing paper for best results.

Small All Purpose Printer/ Scanner
I bought this printer as an upgrade from the previous model. It is a great printer and scanner. Quality of print, speed of printing, and ease of use are impressive.

Love the printer
I bought this printer to print photos. I love it. Once I got it set up for my Macbook and Iphone it is fantastic with beautiful pictures of variing sizes. Please note you have to get a specific app from the app store to be able to group photos.

Horrible Experience
I purchased this printer on 11.29.2021 directly from Epson's website. It was a Christmas gift for a family member, so naturally it was not given to the recipient until December 25th. Upon opening the printer on 1.5.2022, the product kept displaying an error message so I called the support line. After restarting the system and waiting on hold, it was determined that I had a defective unit.
Epson's representative offered to send me a replacement printer, which will be a refurbished unit. Here is where I feel Epson fell short--this unit was purchased during the holiday season, and many retailers have modified return policies because gifts are typically bought in advance. Secondly, there were refurbished units available at the time I made my purchase, and I chose to pay more to get a new one.
This was frustrating and disappointing.

DVD option works great
My only ptoblem at this point is the availability of ink. Staples does not carry XL cartridges or the light colors.

Photo Printer, not great for all round printing
We had an WF-3620 that we were very happy with, but it stopped printing and could not be fixed. An Epson Representative recommended the XP-8600 as a replacement even though we discussed we use for normal printing and scanning. We never discussed printing photos. This appears to be a great printer for photos, but not as good for normal printing. I would recommend the WF series, not the XP series. We are strongly considering buying another WF series.

Complete piece of junk--Don't buy
Right out of the box this was a worthless piece of equipment. The paper feed doesn't work and the front won't stay shut. Avoid at all costs.

I am lukewarm
I bought this printer about a month ago, I did not want an all-in-one, but I couldn't find a stand alone printer in this price range. I had trouble hooking it up, and it won't stay connected to my wireless. I am also disappointed that it does not use ink commonly carried in office supply stores, so I will have to order on line, which I detest. However, it prints very nicely.

Like my old all-in-one printer better than this one.
More instructions needed to access and utilize various features. Computer preview goes by too quickly. Had to print out most of the on-line instruction booklet to get started. Size is good for small space.

The third time is the charm.
The first two printers had mechanical problems and had to be returned. But the third one I finally received today works beautifully. The pictures print a little dark, but can be edited on my phone before I print them. We gave this printer to my daughter last year she and she loves it. When my twelve-year-old Picture Mate finally quit working, I decided to buy another Epson. Hopefully this one lasts as long as my previous one.

Great Purchase!
Bought this printer as an upgrade from a previous Epson model. This model has great features and all work well. Easy set-up. I was up and running from unboxing in about 30 mins, including wifi set up.

Great printer
This is great printer for the general user. I printed 4x6 photos and they printed very nice. I've actually used the printer for mostly non photo copies lately and the quality is excellent.

Very Simple to Operate.....easy to change ink cartridges. I process my own photographs
[8x10] then print them on this printer. The colors are rich and beautiful, I have received many complements on how good my photos look. Best investment I have made in a long time!

Excellent printer.
Bought this one to replace a RX 680 that seen its better days. Simple set up and the printing was outstanding . Well satisfied with this printer. Only drawback was the need of six ink cartridges,other wise very satisfied with product.

Great printer for photos and CD's & DVD's
I just bought this to put together CD' and DVD's of our band for a family reunion.
The CD print feature was a little confusing, even on You-Tube, but once I figured it out,
the software was easy to use and the print quality looked really professional.

Excellent, good quality, and quiet
This replaced a larger Epson printer and it works very well. It is quiet, and smooth, and prints and scans very nicely. Great quality for photos. I am very pleased with it!

Great Printer
I bought this a couple weeks ago and I love it. It has two separate cassettes so I can keep my 5x7 paper in one cartridge and 8.5x11 in the other. It?s FAST and the colors are gorgeous. Would definitely buy it again.

Great printer in small package
The Epson XP-8600 is simple to set up. Total time from unboxing to printing was under 10 minutes. It is small enough that it doesn't take up too much space on my desk. Most of my printing is pages that contain color photos on them for advertising. The photos are clear and I'm also able to print additional 4x6 photos to attach to my advertisements.
For my business I also needed to make copies in black and white along with color copies. They were scanned in much faster than my old all in one and the quality is superior. Overall this is a great little printer that will serve you well.

High quality prints!
This epson photo printer provides a high quality print on both regular and photo paper. The machine itself is easy to set up following the provided instructions. The on screen guide is a great assist to handle the correcting of any issues that may arise during the initial set up process.
This printer has the capability to handle both 4x6 and 8 1/2 × 11 paper, with two separate trays.
Connecting to a wireless network was extremely easy. The machine picked up our wifi signal as soon as it was set up, with no delays. I was easily able to download the app from the app store on my phone and had high quality photo prints within minutes.
The photos print extremely quick and are clear, high quality images that look like they were professionally printed.
The scanner feature creates very clear copies of original images and documents. The quality of photographs scanned and printed were no less than the quality of the prints I printed for the first time.
I really like how the screen panel opens and tilts for easier viewing.
Overall, this is the best photo Painter I have ever used. Epson created a wonderful product.

Amazing compact printer
I've had this printer for a few weeks now and it's an amazing compact printer. The set up from opening the box to finish was easy I didn't even need instructions. I currently already had a wire for my old printer that worked just fine with this new printer. It's small and sleek looking a little heavier than I thought it would be that really isn't an issue.
This Epson Expression photo XP- 8600 has so many features. It has auto 2 sided print ,multi paper input, mobile printing, memory card slot. It prints, scans and copies. It has cd/DVD print this thing has everything compared to my old printer. It does take 6 ink cartridges but it's not that bad cause it's not more costly than the average printer. The prints are so clear and bright my phone wouldn't do it justice. It works with Mac or windows so it can be connected to just about any device including your mobile devices which is great since I have so many different devices. Great photo printer
This photo printer is the best! Instead of having to go to town to get photos I can do it in the luxury of my own home which is wonderful! It prints photos very nicely and clearly. It prints fast also so you aren?t having to wait forever for them. The photos look very professional. I am amazed and happy about receiving my photo printer and can?t wait to be able to print more photos in the near future. This thing was a breeze to set up it took no time at all. I love the step by step videos it shows on the front screen. It makes everything a lot easier. This printer is amazing!!
For a small, all in one printer, this one's does it all. It about 15 inches long and 6 inches wide. It has a small digital display and that's how you get it going, and it's wireless, you just listen to the voice and it tells you how to set it up. It only took me about 8 minutes to set mine up. It prints 4 by 6 inch photos in less than 10 seconds, you can also put pictures on cd's and dvd's, You can scan things and it saves it to the cloud. It comes with 6, colors and the pictures are the best I've ever seen come from a printer you can also print from your phone. And, one of my favorite things that it can do is hands free, voice activated printing. It can also print on both sides of the paper and it has built in usb and memory card slots, but you have to buy a usb cable, it's not included in the package, I love this printer and it's the perfect size!
