Really good ink, expensive though. I guess you get what you pay for. Do not use cheaper ink in this printer.

Is ink ink?

My only complaint about Epson inks has always been price. I have as yet not had a problem with Epson ink in my P800 printer and I am very satisfied with the quality of my printed images. Aftermarket inks are a lot less expensive than Epson inks. Are they as good? Perhaps. Even likely. But Epson says they might damage my printer and my past experience with two Epson printers (using Epson ink by the way) has shown problems to be terminal. New printers were cheaper than repair. Surely ink doesn't cost Epson any more to produce than other sources and yet their ink cartridges cost at least 2x.

Epson never disappoints. The paper profiles assume Epson ink and the 3rd party inks never quite look right.

Love the vivid colors I can get the Epson P800 and how professional the print looks. I take my photos on a Nikon D3300 and print on photo luster.

I've been using this cartridge in the P800 for about a year now. These cartridges last a long time, lay down a good layer of ink. It is good on all kinds of paper from canvas to glossy. I'm extremely pleased.
