What can I say? My original equipment eyecup tore loose, so I had to get a new one. I opted for the larger size, bought two, and they were promptly delivered. Installation was a breeze and I really like the larger size. Works well with glasses.

I wear glasses and find this much easier to see with than the stock eyecup. In bright light I still have to use my hand or cloth to fully isolate the feel of the image due to the difference in curvature of my glasses to that of the rubber wall. My other bug-a-boo is fogging up when it's cold. No difference there. sometimes I "shaving-crème" (alcohol) my glasses - but I haven't brought myself to try that on the camera!

Th Fujifilm Eye Cup for XT1 really helps me block interference from ambient light when using the EVF. And by the way, it works as well on the XT-2.

Helps a lot but could be deeper so as to knock out stray light coming in from the side; however, much better than the native piece.

I've seen my friend to use this eye cup. It is easy to install and help you to focus on your subject. Only down side of this eye cup is easily covered with dust. Constantly wipe it out with my micro towel. Other than that it is very good product.

The eyecup is supposed to make using the excellent evf even easier and it does just that - helps keep your nose off the LCD and helps with glasses in bright light. Be sure to seat it firmly so it doesn't impede the proximity sensor. I'm not a camera manufacturer and I'm not sure why Fujifilm chose to use the other cup as its stock item, but they'd gain some favor if they included both with the camera and the benefit would easily cover the cost. Otherwise they should make this eyecup the stock item and let folks pay for the other.
