Fit was not to good causes focusing error on my x100v silver. had to go for the nisi filter

Filter Failure

It does what it says it will do.  It appears ro be well made, and it fits properly.  Not much else to say about a UV filter.  Probably should have purchased the Hoya version to save some dough, but the difference wasn't so much, and I was flush.

The PRF-49mm fit perfectly on my Fujifilm X100V providing it with complete weather sealing. It?s a comfort that I appreciate because I have had an instance where my camera EVF was completely fogged up due to low temperatures. It was pricey even with my warranty to get it cleaned out by Fujifilm. The filter is machined exceptionally well and it only took a matter of seconds to attach. The image is also crystal clear. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who owns an X100V and wants to protect their camera from the elements and dust.

Provided perfect weather sealing

I picked this filter up to weather seal my x100v! It has worked like a dream! Incredible quality! Looking forward to checking out many more lens filters in the near future!

First camera/first filter

This is a beautiful chrome-framed UV protective filter for my Fujifilm x100v. There are cheaper filters out there, but they don't have "Fujifilm" engraved on the frame. If you are spending $1,400+ for a compact mirrorless camera, partly based on its attractiveness, why go cheap on your protective filter with an knock-off brand? It's like putting a cheap Vivitar lens on your expensive Nikon or Canon.

Beautiful construction, extremely high quality.

Better than expected

The added girth of the filter prevents the lens cap from gripping the lens.  I haven't lost the lest cap yet, but I won't surprised if I do. At least the lens will be protected by the filter, so it's not a total loss. I just wish Fuji would have figured out a fix to this.

Doesn't work with lens cap!

This filter protects the lens and I don't get any impression it affects image quality in any way.  You need the adapter in order to attach it so the lens won't hit the filter when it extends during focusing.  The Fuji x100S is a light, take-anywhere camera, meaning it will find its way into pockets and sit around on desks and tables to always be at the ready. The makes it more prone to jabs, knocks, grubby fingers and smears ... a filter is essential in this environment.

This is simply a must have

If you have or are considering an X100 you want this protector.  The lens on your camera is not interchangeable, and you cannot afford a scratched lens. Easy to clean.  Helps to protect lens from rain and mist as well.

This does require the Fujifilm AR-X100 49mm Adapter Ring for FinePix X100.  Opens up the possible use of any 49mm filter or hood.

Excellent!

This was exactly what i was looking for (matching color, multicoated).  The filter fits perfectly my Fuji X100, the filter color matches the color of my camera (silver), attaches tight, feels solid, no issues so far.  The original Fuji X100 lens cap fits over the filter.  Very happy with the purchase.  On the negative sight, it could have been a tad cheaper, but this is to protect $ camera, I guess it is worth it.
