I never thought I would enjoy a zoom lens as much as primes with the Fuji system but this lens is so responsive and sharp. I've only had this lens out a couple of times, but so far I like it. It's sharp, even at 2.8, and focuses quickly and quietly. This is a well made lens, solid as a tank, and zooms in and out smoothly. Being an f2.8 allows for semi-low light situations, but it really doesn't do well indoors because it requires cranking the ISO up, which adds noise. I removed the tripod collar to make it more portable and because I don't think that I'll ever use it with a tripod. It's a heavy lens, but I like the solid feel of it. Overall, this is a nice glass and pairing it with the XT3 is a nice set-up.

Superb image quality, professional-level build quality. What?s not to like? I find that using good hand-held practice (left hand cradling camera/lens) this lens balances well with the X-T4. Highly recommended.

The best build you can ever expect from a lens. The image quality is great. The focal length is a bit short if you want to do wildlife photography. I will probably get the 2x converter for occasional wildlife shots. The manual focus ring is a bit slow and hard to turn. OIS will enable you to shoot handheld without issue.

This lens is incredible. One of the sharpest Fuji lenses I've ever owned. Additionally the sling bag that came with it is very high quality. Only gripe is it barely holds the lens vertically.

If you think this is big and heavy, try holding a Canon EOS 5D with a 70-200 f 2.8. Then you get the point. Fits the hand nicely, locks on and stays in focus with a moving subject. Great IQ

This lens is probably a 5-star for anyone who NEVER manually focuses. Optics and speed are amazing. It's one of the more recent Fuji lenses, so the AF and OIS are tack on and ridiculously good. However... I like to focus on something that the camera never picks, so I manually focus most of the time. For this, this lens loses a star. The amount of required focus ring spin to manually focus is just not do-able with any speed or accuracy, and it is VERY stiff to manually spin the ring. You better love what the computer picks for autofocus, or this lens will exasperate you. I RARELY pull it out, because it's pretty much only good for sports using AF, or for still-life, which is silly for a lens this huge. For my usage, I almost always take out an old manual focus, fixed focal length Nikon lens on an adapter before I reach for this one.

I am a working professional photog and about a month into this lens. I am coming from Canon and adore my precious 2.8 L 70 - 200 or at least I was. I bought a X-T2 a little over a year ago, love it so much I got the X-T3 6 months ago. I am freelance and within the last month I have shot NFL Football, NCAA Football, Volly ball, and men / women Basketball. OMG, this lens is smoking my Canon. It is Laser Sharp, Faster than my precious Canon, and combined with the Fuji X-T3 OR X- T2, the colors are simply amazing. I love this lens. If you are looking to get one, throw down the Benjamin's and put it to work. You and your client will be glad you did. It is my 6th Fuji lens and is now my fav, well, I love my 2.0 50 mm as well. (sigh) Two dates to the Prom. How lucky can one guy be. This is a must have lens for any serious shooter. Oh, what didn't I like? That I didn't buy it last year. Oh yeah, the one flaw is if you put a UV filter on it, who in their right mind wouldn't, the lens cover cap doesn't like to stay on. Why not and when will that be fixed? Don't let that stop you though, it is a MUST HAVE lens.
