Good addition to XE-4 kit
Nice light little prime. Good for portraits, good when I want a little more reach than the 27mm pancake lens. Well suited to the XE-4.

Perfect lenses
Love it. Perfect little lens. Small, light and takes great photos. Super fast and. Quiet autofocus as well. Pairs perfectly with the 23mm. Love these XF Fuji lenses.

Great lens in a fun package
I love this lens! Just took it with me on a trip attached to an Xt-4 instead of my Canon 5d with 24-70 f2.8. The image quality is on par with that set up and yet weighs significantly less. The lens is solidly built yet small and lightweight. It is also a joy to use with the aperture ring on the lens. Takes me back to my film days. The focal length is very similar to what I normally shot with my 24-70 for portraits. Bokeh is pretty nice as well.

Great lens
I saw a lot of good about this lens before purchasing. I also saw a lot of comparisons to the 56 f1.4 and i have to say i am satisfied with my decision. Great price. Great image quality.

Best lens for the size
Great lens for such a compact size.
I enjoy taking it to stadiums and being blue to shoot from my seat.

Love this lens!
Love this lens. It?s pretty small but really solid. Comes with a nice metal lens shade which is easy to put on or pack away.
I find I get more sharp pics out of a session compared to the 56 1.2 which is also quite a bit bigger.
I use it in my T30 and it?s a great little system. Bought it as a bundle but worth it on its own.

Perfect lens for street photography and portraits
Beautiful image quality, this lens lives on my XT-20. I was between the 35 f/2 and this, and I am happy that I got this versatile lens as one of my firsts. This satiates my needs for portraits and street photography

Superb surprise
After reading many excellent reviews, I was still surprised by this lens: Excellent image quality, solid build, tack sharp, lightweight, silent and fast autofocus... and all of that at a relatively affordable price.
I initially bought it for candid portraits, street photography and some landscape... most of it personal. I love my Fuji 90mm f2 for outdoors portraits (mostly paid work). However, I will definitely bring this f2 to my next session. I actually chose this over the already available 50mm f1 (due to the lighter f2 reported to have faster autofocus with less hunting).
Last year I moved from Nikon DSRL to Fuji, and most of my lenses were f/2.8... so f2 has been more than enough for me... even at night (think downtown city lighting).
My favorite features: Fast autofocus, lightweight, excellent image quality... and inexpensive.

Pleasant surprise
Even though that I was aware of the quality of the other two Fujicron lenses, this small lens exceeded my expectations. It focuses fast and accurate, sharpness is also very good.
I have couple this little gem with the Macro adapter for close up picture and works really good.

Way better than it has any right to be
I was blown away with how good this lens is. I bought it simply because I couldn’t afford the 56mm f/1.2, but I’m honestly so happy I made that choice. You won’t find a better size:quality ratio, and so far I haven’t felt limited by not having the brighter aperture. Easy recommendation for any Fuji shooter.

Great lens/value
This lens is super sharp and has excellent focus. You can't beat this for the price. Especially compared to the long end of 16-45mm zoom, this wins, no comparison really. It's top quality along with all of the Fuji f2's.

Excellent built quality, only thing I didn’t like was the plastic hood. If you’re looking for a small WR prime for portraits it doesn’t get better than this lens.
