Outstanding Professional Printer

Take it out of the box, load a paper roll, load a dye roll, plug it in, attach the USB cable, turn it on, and load driver disc with icc profile in the computer. After about 25 minutes to do this, it is up and running.It is very heavy, about 50 pounds, but is very sturdy with a full metal case and parts.Using windows XP Professional, printed photos via CS3 and Lightroom with no issues. The printer is a bit noisy when printing.When printing with 4x6 paper and dye roll (ribbon) you cannot print the larger 6x8 or 6x9. The dye roll has 4x6 color sections which cannot cover the larger prints. To print larger 6" prints, you need to get the larger print kit which can do 6x8 and 6x9.So far I have been printing only 4x6. The first day I printed hundreds of photos as fast as I could send them to the printer. Once set up, you just collect the photos. No issues at all so far.When printing B&W, the printer has a setting in the printer control to switch from color to B&W. Great looking B&W and color prints. Colors are true to a calibrated monitor.I especially like the true black when compared to my inkjet Canon i9900. WOW!I [...]
