A well-made lens with sharp output and a useful focal range. I use the 100-200 for landscape work where at the moment it fills the long end paired with the 35-70. The lens isn't small, nor is it lightweight (1 pound heavier than Canon's 70-200 2.8), but it hasn't been a problem to carry in my backpack. When shooting this lens my camera is on a tripod the majority of the time with a Firecrest CPL and filter holder mounted. Balance is decent though of course front heavy. Handheld the lens is comfortable enough and the OIS certainly helps reduce hand shake. Internal focus and zoom means once mounted, my variable ND filters stay put and don't spin around as focus changes. Panning and tracking work OK, dependant more on the body and its AF. If you were successful with manual focus cameras, or in the days when AF was concentrated in the center of the field, you'll do fine with this lens. If on the other hand you want a camera that locks focus and tracks while shooting multi-frame series at high frame and high hit rates, look elsewhere. Cons: While there is a lot to get used to when shooting a larger sensor camera with a long lens mounted, for me most of the cons have been caused by expectations rather than limitations of the lens. The one glaring mistake by Fujifilm: Having a lens collar tripod mount that isn't Arca-Swiss compatible. That to me seems just plain dumb on a system that hopes to attract pro shooters.

Surprisingly light but as expected very good quality glass with versatility and sharpness all throughout. Mostly useful for landscapes. Definitely not a macro or low light glass.

I purchased this 100-200 lens after trying unsuccessfully to use my Canon 70-200 lens with an adapter. I just wasn't happy with the results for a variety of reasons. I am ecstatic about the quality of this lens. From the amazing corner to corner sharpness to the convenience of having a physical aperture ring back on the lens, I couldn't be happier. The 5.6 aperture is not a problem for me since I shoot landscape and wild life and is well worth the weight reduction on the lens. Really looking forward to my Alaska trip with this lens in my pack. This lens and the 32-64 cover easily 90 to 95% of my shooting needs.

Exceptionally sharp and versatile lens! As usual Fuji delivers and this is one of their best. I am very impressed with the image quality of this lens. I highly recommend it for these reasons.

Superb lens and a great addition to my GFX50S kit. I was concerned on launch that the F5.6 aperture would be overly restrictive to use in my location portraiture work (I have the 110 F2 also). This turns out not to be the case. Shooting with it wide open all of the time it provides an appropriate amount of depth of field and is sharp all over. The flexibility of the zoom is very useful in situations where I can't move and I have tested the handholding with OIS down to 1/15th at 200mm with perfect results.

So here’s the thing, f5.6 isn’t too exciting. Sure, but then again. This isn’t the lens you’re looking at if you’re wanting the most subject isolation and buttery bokeh. With that said here’s what you can expect: 1. Impeccable image quality throughout the range 2. Unbelievably effective image stabilization with him he’ll charts perfectly stable up to 1/2 second. 3. Fast focus 4. Surprisingly light lens when comparing to 70-200 f2.8s

I love my 110mm and 250mm Fuji lenses and thought the 100-200mm would be redundant and a waste of money. I have found that it has its own special personality and convenience and produces just as sharp and accurate photos as my prime lenses. It's lighter and even with the attached teleconverter, seems more portable. The flexibility of the zoom is welcomed when I'm out of my studio.

Fantastic lens and lightweight. A great addition for portraits or landscape and of course it’s stabilized. Works very well in combination with my GFX 50r. Get the Kirk KLP-310 plate for this lens. Fits perfectly!!

Moved to Fujifilm medium format from Canon. Excellent system and lens. I'll keep my Canon stuff but will mostly use the Fuji system.

I was hesitant about buying this lens but the images are outstanding. Yes I wish it would of been a F4 but having ois on medium format makes this lens so worth it to forgo the tripod. the images are extremely sharp, the speed is great for a medium format camera.

Looks great, sharp wide open, even across the frame. I expect it to be a great lens.
