The extra batteries and options available with the grip make this the best must have acces for the X-T2!

The power grip has really helped my sports and portrait photography by providing a very comfortable grip and necessary controls at the tips of my fingers in "portrait" position. It also provides a great counter balance for heavier lenses, such as the F/2.8 16-55mm and F/2.8 50-140mm. It is well made, easy to attached, attaches securely, easy to use, easy to charge, provides a great grip and controls for portraits and sports photography, as well as adding extra battery life and boosting already great performance for the X-T2. Adorama had the X-T2, 18-55mm lens and power grip at a bargain price for the same cost as other companies were selling the X-T2 body alone. Highly recommended for people shooting portraits or sports.

You need it if you are going to use long lenses (50-140, 100-400) on the Fuji bodies to balance out the weight and the extra batteries give you up to 1000 shots instead of 300+

I don't know why I waited so long to buy this. It is great having three batteries all the time and I like the stability and feel it gives to the camera. Plus the extra boost is great for action shots.

Highly recommend this grip for any Fuji XT-2 user. Speeds up several aspects of the cameras performance and gives you full camera controls when you shoot vertical.

Excellent addition if you're shooting with the X-T2 and need battery life and added speed and power.

A single battery in the X-T2 may last up to 3.5 hours when using just the EVF. If you turn on the display you'll barely make it to 2 hours of usage. This grip is almost a "must have" after a while and it makes a huge difference in battery life. I've gone 2 whole days shooting and downloading pictures to my iPad before the second battery hit the halfway marker... while the third battery in the camera itself was still at full charge. In-camera functionality wise, it's as great as everyone else has said it was. My only complaint is the price. It's a much needed component but $ is a bit steep.

An absolute must have for the X-T2 Fuji, to take advantage of Boost/Beast mode. Taking portraits would not be as fun without it!

I got the recent X-T2 and grip deal for $. I would've never paid the extra $ for the grip if I didn't think I could sell if for more than that because it's not something I need or ever expect to use. Keep that in mind when reading the rest of this. It is well made and does all the things everyone says it does. But, I was surprised that it doesn't line up smoothly with the camera body on one side. Seems a bit sloppy from design perspective but I'm not sure if it really matters to anyone. I can see the benefit for portrait and action shooters, but it still seems over priced.

This grip is a must have for the X-T2 for me. It supercharges the camera, it adds weight and stability, it's got great build quality, and the ability to charge your two grip-batteries with the wall adapter is awesome. I took off 1 star because the button placement on the grip doesn't even come close to matching the placement on the body. Your AF-L, AE-L, and rear dial are in completely different places, so you can't rely on muscle memory the way you'd really want to. It's very inconvenient to try to use those buttons, and I find myself thrown off on a shoot a lot of the time, especially trying to use back-button focus.

I held off on buying the grip because of the price, but at the sale price I couldn't pass up on it. The grip is amazing and feels great . I should've bought it earlier. If you are on the fence about getting just buy it. It's amazing.

The Fujifilm grip for the X-T2 is a must-have for anyone who either plans to shoot for hours on end, or anyone who shoots in portrait mode at times.

Works very well. My only issue is there's nowhere to store the booster's pin protector. The pin cover for the camera pins has a storage slot so you won't as easily lose it, but nothing similar for the booster's pin cover. I don't use the booster all the time and I can see losing the cover.

My original reason for buying the X-T1 was b/c I wanted to lighten my carry weight. After having shot it for almost 2 years, I upgraded to the X-T2. Same reason, just wanted more pixels and such. I have increased confidence in the X-T2 for shooting more commercial jobs and getting the grip made sense. It's a nice addition if you're shooting where you need quick vert and horizontal shots. Plus, by inserting 2 of the NP-126 batteries in the grip, you can shoot 3x as long! As with most grips, you have to remember to lock the buttons so you don't accidentally hit them. Searching for the shutter button and back focus button takes some getting used to (without looking of course) as they're placed a bit differently from these same buttons on the camera itself. The shutter button is a bit more recessed than I like it as I have to work a little harder in feeling around for it while looking through the viewfinder. I recommend. It's build to Fujifilm quality.

This alone makes the grip a success for me. I was ready to buy a dual battery charger and was delighted to find out that the A/C adapter simply plugs into the socket on the grip to charge both batteries simultaneously. I use the USB 3.0 port on the camera body to charge in the 3rd battery at the same time! 3 little green lights lets you know status. I have always used battery grips because I may large hands. This grip is well thought out and works well with the camera.

This is a Power Booster grip which adds some performance increases to the X-T2 as well as serves as a battery grip. The grip holds two additional batteries, for a total of three batteries. The batteries are not included, so plan on spending the additional cost of batteries. Additionally, the grip has a Boost mode which improves AF speed and can increase the frames per second in continuous shooting mode. For users who shoot a lot of video, the grip offers extended recording lengths and a headphone jack. I think the grip feels nice and has worked well. It does add some significant weight and size to the camera taking away the size advantages of the X-T2. It is really easy to remove, so it can be attached and removed as needed. For the advantages of the grip, the price is probably fine, but I think the batteries are a bit overpriced.

Integrates perfectly with the XT-2. It provides a very comfortable form factor for vertical and horizontal shooting and adds the perfect amount of heft for balance when you want a bigger set up. Removes easily when you want to go small/light. Boost mode is a noticeably improved functionality. The shorter mirror less battery life compared with a DSLR is much less of an issue with three batteries. I'm very glad I made this purchase.

Best camera ever owned, for the last ten years i owned Canon, Sony and Panasonic but never felt satisfied like i do know, easy to use, good low light performance, the best part is "Lenses" hands down, best quality and reasonably priced. I'm building my lens collection based on this camera.

The extra batteries and options available with the grip make this the best must have acces for the X-T2!
Grip specifically designed for the X-T2 to bring out the camera's maximum potential
The Vertical Power Booster Grip VPB-XT2 can fit two NP-W126 or NP-W126S batteries to boost the maximum number of shots per charge to approx. 1,000. It not only lets you hold the camera vertically more confidently, but also features a shutter release button, Q button, focus lever, command dials, AE-L button and more to maintain the same level of excellent operability during shooting. The grip features a tripod mounting socket in line with the camera's optical axis and is resistant to dust and moisture. The grip itself has battery-charging functionality and is capable of fully charging two batteries in two hours.
