I used this strap for a year or more on a Nikon D500 with various lenses including a heavy Tamron 150-600mm.
I had no problem with fitting it to my hand, although it does take a little effort. I wear a size large glove.

My problem was with the small plastic loop that secures the strap to the tripod mounting attachment. The loop broke and allowed the strap to disengage, causing the camera and lens to fall. 

I do not recommend this accessory for a heavy DSLR/lens combination.

Not for a Heavyweight

This wrist strap while well made just doesn't seem to fit well no matter how it is adjusted. I have fairly large hands and maybe that is part of the issue but the index finger and thumb could be more comfortable in my opinion. I've moved on to just a simple strap that I can wrap around my wrist to prevent a drop.
