I agree with everything good that has been said about this camera. It's a beautiful work of art, fun to shoot with, captures great images, and had the potential to be one of the best cameras I've owned. Unfortunately there are some serious reliabilities issues and it's definitely not living up to it's fullest potential. I've had the camera for about 8 months and this will be my second time having to send it back to repair the same issue. Just Google: X100F viewfinder issues stuck curtain. Luckily it's still under warranty, but what happens after that? Fuji accidentally sent me a bill for the first repair before I had to correct them about it still being under warranty. That bill was $525, which is ridiculous for something that clearly seems to be a manufacture's defect. Imagine having to pay that when your camera is out of warranty. That's 1/2 the price of the camera. Again I love this camera, there's nothing else that I enjoy shooting with more and it's beautiful AF!!!. Just not sold on Fuji's reliability after these experiences. It has actually turned me off from the brand in general and that's unfortunate. No more looking at XPros and XTs for me. Get it together Fuji :(

I haven't had it very long, but am really enjoying it so far. I use my X-T3 most of the time, but really love this for family gatherings, parties, etc. The built-in flash is not very strong, but serviceable for candid pics.

Hard to go wrong with this little gem. It has an uncanny ability to capture human faces with clarity and the right color. Built in flash is amazing for any light situation. Once set up properly, this wonderful machine just goes and is much less obtrusive than a larger camera. Easier to handle, soft nearly silent (or silent if chose) shutter. One of the most perfect little machines ever created. A joy to shoot with.

Bought this for a ski trip in Utah and kept it around my neck but under my jacket for 3 of the 4 ski days. Easy to use, takes great shots (better than my iPhone but not quite as good as my D750) but safer than bringing either of those out in the snow. I generally didn't notice it as it's not terribly heavy, and my teenagers (that normally cringe when I break out the D750) thought it was the coolest looking camera ever! Never thought I'd be hip...

I’ve always wanted this camera but I was waiting for the right price. I figured I couldn’t do better than $799.99 at Adorama. Fantastic camera.

Having had this camera for a bit of time, my comments will repeat what many others have said. Bottom line up front, if this X100 line of cameras from Fuji appeals to you, then you've got the bug and love can follow with ownership. And for the current discounted price (as of 12/2020) its a great deal. That said, the new "V" model improves on the "F" model in a number of really significant ways, especially the quality of the lens, and the added usability that comes with the tilting and touch-sensitive rear LCD. If you can handle the cost of the newer model, to me it is the better camera of the two, and in many ways. For others who are new to the X100 series and on the fence, consider the following - First, you've got to be comfortable working with the 35mm equivalent fixed lens. Second, the menus and adjusting the settings have a number of quirky complexities that can make for frustration. Third, if you work with RAW files, you'll need to process those differently than those from other brands of cameras. Fourth, the ergonomics of this camera are NOT good. The simulated 'leather' covering is slippery; it desperately needs a better grip or an after-market thumb rest; and some of the buttons are small and not so easy to use. All this said, i've been smitten by this line cameras since the very first model and am buying one of the new "V" models. The lack of an anti-aliasing filter over the sensor produces very sharp resolution and their dynamic range is good for APSC-sized sensor cameras. Plus, their film simulations and the more portable 'take-with-you' size add to a fun factor and encourage one to experiment, which encourages us along with our growth as photographers.

While the newer X100V is measurably “better” in any clinical sense, some of us prefer the original 23mm lens used on the first four X00 models. No, it is not as sharp close up, and does exhibit some field curvature, but produces a distinctive and pleasing, rather three dimensional look in its images. The 24MP x-trans sensor produces plenty of detail for real world use, and works well in low light. Overall, this is a terrific carry everywhere camera that never disappoints.

Now that the price has gone down with the introduction of the new model, the X100F is even a greater value.I bought mine when it was still the latest model, and it is one of my favorite cameras. Outstanding build quality that you will appreciate every time you use it.The .jpeg Images it captures of people and pets are especially good.Fill Flash does a great job once you figure out how to activate it. Not the most intuitive camera initially is the one negative. There are many videos Online though that will help to become more familiar with the scattered Menu System. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic image quality in a small yet powerful package. You won’t get dslr type autofocus speed and reliability. This is more like carrying around a manual 35mm film camera where you have to take your time a bit. I love it tho. It changes my workflow. I’m amazed at the sensor capabilities. Fuji, you’ve gained a new fan.

A wonderful handy camera that I take with me everywhere I travel through the states as I’m on assignments. It affords me to capture images that I would not normally be able to as I don’t travel with my larger mirror less camera.

This is a swift camera that is packed with features any street photographer, new or experienced, will absolutely appreciate. Love the hybrid VF and the flexibility all features provide. A must buy and still relevant in 2020.

Looks, feels & creates like an analog camera, producing clear memories with such a simple set up to not overwhelm those trying to start out with a digital setup or simply getting back into digital photography (like myself). This is my second Fujifilm X Series camera & it’s definitely a favorite of mine. I see this camera staying with me until it no longer can.

I love shooting with this camera. It’s fun, it’s beautiful, and produces distinctive images. The fixed focal lens, the analogue dials, and the ergonomics app combine for a unique photography experience. Is it for everyone? No, particularly at the price point. I can see how someone could make it a primary camera, but it would be a challenge. For me, this is a camera to take out when I’m looking to inject some fun and creativity into my work. I naturally see—and shoot—differently when the X100F is in my hands.

I upgraded from an X100S to the X100F. There was a little of "who moved my cheese" but wow, is it a crisp update to a take-it-anywhere companion. I've found the focus stick helpful, and the digital tele-converter a new feature that uses my feet less. My favorite camera before this was my X100S, and before that a Leica CL with 40 and 90 mm lenses.

Camera is good but the dual charger is not reliable. Green extreme loses charge pretty fast. I charged the green extreme batteries a day before an event using the dual charger. Then went to the event and the batteries turned up dead when I needed them. Camera is amazing but I am bummed about these unreliable batteries (or charger) .

This is a terrific Camera, I have used like a Sony Fuji Olympus etc.And photography is a important part of my business. The little X 100 f . Is all that they say it is. Unfortunately that includes a somewhat soft close up lens. Stopped down to four or better 5.6 it becomes sharp close up. Normal range no problem whatsoever even wide open. The user experience was this little jewel is terrific. It fits in a jacket pocket . Mine must’ve been somewhat defective it gave me a lens focus error ogten. But if it’s not a defective two thumbs up. All the way.

I have wanted an X100 since it was first released. I hesitated in part because of its expense. With several important events coming up in my schedule, I decided to buy it. I've been more than pleased with the picture quality and smaller size compared to the D750. After getting used to mirrorless being slower to focus and readying to shoot than an SLR, I gains some confidence in getting the shots. As others have noted the camera's rendition of skin tones is unsurpassed, no matter what kind of light. I still feel I have lots to learn in getting the most out of this camera, and that's the fun part.

I have been waiting for two years to buy this camera and the wait was worth it. Adorama has great service and fast shipping - I love the email updates you get that tell you where you're at in the shipping process. These Fuji cameras are making me want to sell all my Canon gear. The lens on this camera is incredible - always sharp and fast. The film simulations are really fun, and I love the option of the electronic viewfinder or the optical viewfinder. A great camera - if you're on the fence, get one!

Pure class. I have had more questions asked about this camera than I ever had shooting with either of my Canons. This has become my walk-a-round camera. It’s limitations I believe are making me a better photographer. BYW, the ISO dial is reminiscent of my old film cameras. Personally, I like it.

I love this camera. Makes me want to go out and shoot more plus I can just place it in my pocket. (I have huge pockets). This is a good pair to travel with! :) the fact that you can’t change lenses on this way doesn’t drown me in the cycle of buying lenses. ( I have bad GAS )

I have the Fujifilm XPRO-1 and the XPRO-2 and now the X 100F. Having grown up shooting film cameras, I never quite liked the compact digital cameras, that was until Fujifilm. Even the X100F feels and operates like a "real camera". I've shot the X100F in various modes, full auto /JPEG to manual/Raw and results have the excellent image quality that you expect from Fujifilm cameras. I would recommend this camera to anyone who a quality small camera that still fits your hand nice and fits in a coat pocket or purse.

"The X100F not only looks like a vintage camera, it performs like one too. All-manual controls give access to everything you need, and with an optical viewfinder it almost feels like a film camera. Fuji is known for its film simulations that are no exception on the X100F, making it an extremely fun camera for casual, street, family, travel, and basically any kind of photography. "
The original Fujifilm X-100, when it was introduced in 2013, was an instant hit for street photographers and photojournalists, thanks to its 23mm lens (35mm equivalent), high-quality APS sensor, and its striking resemblance to a well-known, red-dotted German camera favored by street shooters but costing several thousands of dollars more. The camera has undergone several upgrades, and today, the Fujifilm FinePix X-100F is the fourth generation of this now-legendary camera. It promises faster and more accurate autofocus and response times than its predecessors among its new and improved features.
** Note: ** if using lens filters with this camera, an adapter ring is required for the autofocus to work properly (IFJARX100B Black, or IFJARX100 Silver)
The FUJIFILM X100F signifies the achievement of new heights in Fujifilm's endless pursuit of perfection in photography. Perfection means creating a system that allows photographers to control, frame, and create with style, ease, and purpose. A long-anticipated iteration of the X100 series, the FUJIFILM X100F is a powerful addition to FUJIFILM X Series, offering photographers the versatility of endless creativity.
New features in the FUJIFILM X100F include the Built-In ISO Dial, incorporated into the Shutter Speed Dial reminiscent of film cameras of yesteryear, the focus lever, which allows you to instantaneously move the focus area without having to take your eye off the viewfinder, and the “C” position for enabling ±5 stop exposure compensation. Most of the operation-related buttons and dials are concentrated on the right-hand side to allow quick change of settings while firmly holding the camera.
The Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder combines the features of an optical viewfinder (OVF) and electronic viewfinder (EVF). Operate the viewfinder switch lever at the front of the camera body to instantly switch between OVF and EVF. You can also apply the electronic display which shows a focus area over the OVF screen to take advantage of Focus Peaking and Digital Split Image functions even in the OVF mode for accurate focusing in real time.
The Film Simulation function now features the ACROS mode. Using X-Processor Pro's advanced processing capability, the mode offers smooth gradation, deep blacks and beautiful textures to create monochrome images that far outperform the previous Monochrome mode.
The FUJIFILM X100F features the 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III, an APS-C sensor with no low-pass filter boasting the highest performance in the history of the X Series, as well as the X-Processor Pro high-speed image processing engine to deliver outstanding color reproduction and gradation of tones in both stills and videos with high ISO sensitivity and low noise.
The FUJIFILM X100F's lens has a built-in ND filter, which is useful when shooting with the aperture wide open in bright light, or when opting to use a slow shutter speed. The three-stop ND filter, which cuts down the amount of light to 1/8, can be activated easily with the function button or from the camera menu.
The WCL-X100 II Wide Conversion and the TCL-X100 II Teleconversion Lenses expand the FUJIFILM X100F's shooting field while perfectly retaining the advanced image quality and performance of the camera's fixed FUJINON 23mmF2 Prime Lens. Their elegant design, created specifically for the X100 Series, is in total harmony with the FUJIFILM X100F. These conversion lenses are optically designed to draw out the performance of FUJIFILM X100F's lens to the maximum extent, delivering premium image quality without affecting the lens' f-stop value. The camera body automatically recognizes when a conversion lens is mounted and displays framing guidelines indicating the shooting area when in OVF mode.
