I used it for a recent trip to the Philippines. In general, it worked fine. Videos are great, and it works fine for general picture-taking. Two oddities. 1) It appears to have some issues focusing underwater. Most of the photos underwater were blurred. 2) Occasionally when powering on, it thinks the battery compartment is not closed properly. I had to shut it down, open and close the battery compartment, and then it worked. Probably an issue with the sensor. I am a little worried that, one of these days, it will stop working altogether. For regular photo capture, it's as good as any Canon or Nikon Point And Shoot. It really is water proof - we got a few pictures and videos from about 12 feet down, and no issues. Battery life: 130 pictures and 3x2-miniute videos, and the battery had to be charged again.
