Just what I needed for my kid—tough, fun, easy to use, and weatherproof. He shoots it in Auto and has a blast.

The camera looks nice but I never received an answer for the question I asked when the camera was purchased. We won't be opening the camera until December for my son's birthday. I asked if we could have the warrantly begin them instead of when it was purchased in September. I'll keep the camera either way. We can review when the camera is taken out of the box in December. ty

Not very fast. Background dark on flash pictures. Haven't used it underwater yet. Wanted a dual purpose camera and don't think this one is it.

We got this for my 8 year old son who has been using a 15 year old point and shoot for fun for a while. He had some birthday money and wanted an underwater camera. This was the only solid camera in this price range, so we went for it. It has proved super fun, super quick and takes great pictures, and of course water proof. We live at the beach so it goes there a lot, clean up is easy, and more importantly, its just fun. We got the kit with the floating strap and it basically means its a tough camera to have around when a nice camera or our phones won't suffice, and we aren't worried about it getting somewhat abused or lost. Took it in a real pool once and it really did well with a bunch of underwater antics. Definitely a great camera, and for the price, really great.

This is the second one I’ve purchased. I use it in the field for work everyday and it performs well. It gets knocked around and dropped and never have had an issue.

Super Duper slick lil high tech camera. So handy for my on-the-go point-n-shoot lifestyle. Amazing features that work great when needed. Still have MORE things to learn about this gadget.

Nice bundle at a good price. I like this camera because it allows bluetooth transmission of photos to a nearby phone.

Good little camera. It does the job. Inlikenhh that is water resistant. My 7 year old daughter loves it. It does not replace an interchangeable lens camera but it’s good for most simple things.

Question: how does this camera recharge the battery? Remove the battery? or simply plug it in like my similar old Fujifilm camera? My other Fuji cam is OUTSTANDING but I can't find a replacement battery.

This is very useful camera. Mostly because is submersible down to 60 feet. It has hdr features and 16mp sensor. Not so great in low light but acceptable at this price range it can be paired with your phone by way of Bluetooth and WiFi. The app is pretty useful to upload pics online and to edit on phone. One cool thing about pairing it by Bluetooth is that it tags your location the pictures taken while paired with your cell phone. Battery life is short when shooting video, it is suggested to get an extra battery.

I have had these cameras many times. They laughed through anything and take great pictures. The only reason I have had to replace them it's because I've lost them. That's my bad

Seems like a good device. I need to get the images on my computer for final verdict but so far easy to use and very good battery life. Wish it had normal exposure control choices; e.g. aperture and shutter priority. But the auto and scene modes appear good.

Bought this for some upcoming snorkeling. We are very pleased with performance both underwater and for general use. Feels good in the hands, good photo quality, and lots of special effects options. We normally shoot high-end DSLRs, but this is a great addition as a take-anywhere camera.

good price for a tough underwater diving camera. Ive not taken it diving yet but its rated to 65 ft. Ive been deeper than that but most diving is 40 feet or less so Im ok with the limitation. I finally have a dive camera that I don't need a housing for. and its 4k resolution.

This is what I was looking for. Have used FinePix cameras for years. Occasionally have had/wanted to upgrade. My last one dropped too far. What a sad day. This is just the replacement I needed.

The fact that it is sealed for submersion in water down to a certain depth, also makes it dustproof to a certain extent. The lens is sealed so that the zoom mechanism does not get particles of dirt or sand into it which can jam it. This has been a problem on previous point and shoot cameras that I have had no matter how careful I was to protect it.

Integrates four rugged protection features: waterproof to 65ft/20m, freezeproof to 14°F/-10°C, shockproof to withstand drops from 5.8ft/1.75m, and dustproof to keep out sand and other foreign particles. The camera is suitable for a variety of outdoor scenes.
The indomitable FinePix XP130 features an internal 5x optical FUJINON zoom lens(28 – 140mm*1), which means that you can zoom right up to the action, even underwater. The technology continues to impress with the added application of Intelligent Digital Zoom. The FinePix XP130 combines its 5x optical zoom with Intelligent Digital Zoom which results in double the zoom range(10x) whilst offering optimum image processing to counteract the degradation that has traditionally occurred when digital zooms are used.

Despite a larger 3-inch high-definition 920K-dot LCD monitor, the camera manages to maintain its compactness with a weight of approx. 207g*5. The LCD monitor also features an anti-reflective coating, assuring it’s clear and easy to use, even in bright and sunny conditions. The brightness is automatically adjusted in response to the lighting conditions to maintain optimal visibility while preventing unnecessary battery drain.
The battery life has improved by 15%*6 against the conventional model. You can take as many as 240 images with a one time charge.
Pair your smartphone with the camera to synchronize your location and time information. This function will automatically adjust the camera’s timezone and record the location you are in, helping you to create lots of travel memories.
You can enable the Electronic Level on the FinePix XP130’s 3.0-inch LCD. This is a particularly useful function when you want to capture a horizontal subject, such as a beautiful landscape or solid architecture. The Eye Detection feature helps to capture portraits more easily by automatically focusing on your subject’s eyes.
The FinePix XP130 offers the all-new Cinemagraph mode, producing still images with moving elements. Cinemagraph is a novel photographic approach that makes an image look somewhere between a still and video to strongly capture people’s attention. Record video of up to 5 seconds, and specify which elements you want moving, to easily create Cinemagraph with the specified elements in motion. The contrast between moving elements and the rest of the image in standstill, accentuates your intended theme effectively.
Interval Shooting mode lets you capture multiple images of a scene taken at set intervals. Capture a beautiful sunrise or clouds moving through the sky, and the new “Time-Lapse Movie” feature will automatically turn these image sequences into a movie clip showing the passing of time. Simply select “Still image + Movie” for interval shooting settings. Of course, the still images from the conventional interval shooting can also be saved. The speed can be altered by selecting the video frame rate from 10, 30, and 60fps, with multiple video sizes including Full-HD.
Thanks to the CMOS sensor, the FinePix XP120 can shoot 1920 x 1080-pixel full HD video. A dedicated movie recording button makes it easy to switch to movie recording mode with a single touch.
7 types*7 of advanced filter can also be used in movie recording.
Sometimes things happen too fast for you to see them properly with your own eyes. The FinePix XP120 can freeze the action at up to an amazing 320 fps! So you can see every single minute detail and watch things happening step by step in slow motion. *High Speed Movie can be recorded at the following speeds and sizes: 320 fps (160 x 120 pixels), 240 fps (320 x 240 pixels), 120 fps (VGA 640 x 480 pixels). The camera also incorporates a number of advanced movie-editing features, including “movie trimming” to cut un-wanted footage from movies, and “movie join” to join multiple separate clips into a single movie. Noise cancellation eliminates the sounds made by the zoom lens during recording. Scene recognition is available during movie recording. Wind noise is reduced during movie shooting with the wind noise reduction setting.High Speed Movie

The extra safe double-locking system prevents the lid from accidentally being opened.
A selection of 11 special filters lets you create distinctive photo effects. Filter effects can be verified on the LCD monitor to ensure you get exactly the results you’re shooting for.

Select “Motion Panorama 360” mode, press the shutter button and sweep the camera to pan the scene. The FinePix XP130 cleverly produces a stunning 360° panorama shot, effortlessly and automatically!
Keeps fast moving subjects in the frame and in focus, even at 5x zoom extended. Great for capturing dynamic close-ups. Ideal for shooting non-moving subjects in low light, this mode automatically takes a series of four high-sensitivity & low-noise exposures and then combines them into an image with less noise than the single exposures. This mode uses Multi Frame technology to capture three consecutive photos shot at high speed-under-exposed, normal exposure, and over-exposed. The three images are then layered to an optimum balance of detail in shadow and highlights, eliminating “blackout” or “washout” and producing pleasing, natural gradations. Can’t decide whether it’s best to use flash? Choose this mode, press the shutter and automatically capture the same scene twice: once with high sensitivity and natural light, and the second time with Intelligent Flash. Later choose one or keep both! Face Detection optimizes people pictures by identifying faces and adjusting focus and exposure to ensure bright, clear results. Red-eye removal automatically detects and corrects flash reflection for a perfect end result. The Face Detection can simultaneously recognizes up to 10 faces in a photo. Share your group portraits using the zoom up function in playbacks, checking each detected face. Each priceless expression can be cropped and saved in clear high resolution results. The Face Detection Self-timer automatically sets off after the number and position of faces in a scene are detected, snapping the photo at the right moment, with the faces in focus and properly exposed.Tracking Auto Focus
