RICHARD O : Does this attach to the fujifilm xe1? It looks as if it might but the two cameras have different profilesPETER A : Dick, good question, I wondered myself. The answer is NO. I own both camera's x-e1 & x-pro 1. As you stated the profile of the bottom plate of x-e1 is smaller but more important the tripod sockets are in different locations on both camera's. Pete A.DAVID H : It probably would but since the XE 1 is smaller the bottom of the grip would be too big for it. I don't think the bottom screw pin would be in the right place either. Fuji would have to release one specifically for the XE 1.DAVID R : It is larger than the XE1. I understand there is a handgrip available for the XE1. I tried to fit the X Pro 1 to the XE1 and while it could be physically attached it was not a good fit and I did not think it would work well. David RTHOMAS L : I don't think so. See the DP Review for both cameras demtions. The X-Pro 1 is larger and heavier. I wouldn't be without it; really makes a big difference.EDWARD N : Won't fit. GERALD F : The grip would fit only if both cameras were the same size. The x-pro1 is a larger camera....I doubt it would fit the xe1. I would call fujifilm technical support and ask them before you buy. Gerald.

Great Quality Product!

It's a great quality grip that matches the camera body perfectly and is an easy on-off install. Feels good in the hand and provides that extra comfort and security sometimes needed. I do find however, that I tend to leave it off the camera most of the time because of the added thickness to the base plate. I prefer the thin profile of the camera without this grip. Nicely engineered though!

A useful accessory

The X-Pro1 is an excellent camera, but the ergonomics could be better. This accessory provides additional gripping surface for the right hand, yielding a steadier, more secure hold on the camera. This, in turn, lets you concentrate on taking pictures, instead of fiddling and shifting to get a better grip. Not an essential accessory, but one many X-Pro1 owners will find worthwhile.
