Very happy with it. I usually shoot Leica M, but there are situations where I want autofocus and weather sealing. Image quality is much better than I expected, not quite Leica level, but I never expected it to be. Honestly it is far closer than any APS-C system at such a low price point has any right to be. Love the optical viewfinder. Highly recommended.

Xpro2 graphite is stunningly beautiful, just wished Fuji made some lenses in graphite to match - particularly the WR F/2 Fujicrons in 35 and 50mm would be sweet. For my style of photography these rangefinder styled cameras just works for me. I also own an XT2 and an XH1 both of which I like as well though not as much as my Xpro1/2.

I haven't felt a camera like the X Pro-2 for maybe 25 years since I gave up my Leica rangefinder cameras. Just holding it brings back the great memories of my photographic past. Yes it does have a bit of a learning curve to master, but it beats the s**t out of the large beasts like my Nikons that do everything for you including developing muscles in your arms from their massive weight. Brings me back to true photography, guess you might say I love it.

What can I say? This is my favorite camera and it's very "sexy." I have owned many cameras, but this one is the one that inspires me and gets me shooting more than any of the others, including the XH1. The hybrid viewfinder on the X-pro2 is amazing and offers more choices than other cameras. The manual controls and ergonomics are spot on, and the firmware updates continue to improve this camera body. 4k video and tethering make this a very capable camera for video and professional still shoots alike. The included microphone allows more versatility for sound when filming as well. I highly recommend this system to people of all experience levels. It really is a joy to shoot with and that's half the battle.

Love this camera. My Canon 5DmkII just gathers dust now. I only have two complaints. 1. The eye cup falls off easily. 2. You have to set the ISO with the top dial. You can't reassign it to a custom dial. Other than that, it's the perfect camera for me.

This camera is not for everyone...let me just state that up front. If you want and expect something similar to a DSLR experience, this camera is probably NOT for you. However, as a working professional for 35 years, I wanted a different (non DSLR) experience for making my personal images. I wanted a camera that was smaller, lighter, and still able to keep up with the grand kids! The X-Pro 2 delivers exceptional image quality, in a more rangefinder-style form factor and shooting experience. Without the many missed shots that a manually focusing rangefinder often delivers (my Leica-shooting friends). The Fuji f/2 prime lenses are nice and compact and very reminiscent of the rangefinder camera and lenses that I began my photography career with in back in the 1970's. It's not an inexpensive camera, but it's a bargain compared to the only other really viable rangefinder options in today's digital world. Do your homework and if you decide this style of camera is what you want, the X-Pro 2 will deliver!

This camera is exactly what I was looking for. It’s like I’m going back to film again with the simulation settings. I’m not overly concerned about shooting in jpeg only either. Back in the day you just chose a follow lot it’s look and went with an iso or speed of a film and that’s what you had. This camera does just that but still has the flexibility of a modern digital camera. The graphite look just adds to the overall look of the camera and it’s appeal.

I purchased an x-pro2 some time back and still use it. I was looking forward to the weather proofing, faster focus, etc. The Fuji x-pro2 does everything it says but one thing...A little soul. It is edging toward all the other Mirrorless cameras. It chock full of features when a camera such as this should be the ONE in the Fuji Line dedicated to pure photograph. It makes me long for the Leica M-6. I think Fuji should focus in and not load it up. Leave that to the T- 2. I'll use this camera and like it but I miss a little soul. Something that the X-pro1 had with all its irritations.

If you are in the market for a range finder style camera then the Fujifilm X-Pro2 is definitely one to consider. I bought mine with the 23mm f/2 lens and use it extensively for street photography. It is also my go to camera for family photos. It is beautifully made, sturdy yet compact and lightweight enough to take anywhere. Most importantly I find the image quality to be excellent. I typically shoot in RAW, but the Jpegs out of this camera are so good that I no longer bother. Fact is Fujifilm has done a great job with the film simulations for Jpegs, my favorite being the ACROS for black and white. When I am shooting street scenes I simply set the camera to ACROS and head out and I have been extremely happy with the results. The 23mm f/2 lens is also a great match for this camera. The field of view is roughly equivalent to that of a 35mm lens on a full frame camera, and for me at least, that works out best for street and family photos. The lens is sharp and fast to focus, and this camera/lens combination is weather sealed, which is a nice added bonus. A final plus is that this camera is simply fun to shoot with, and that makes me want to get out more with it and explore. While I think the X-Pro2 is a very nice camera there are a couple of issues I have with it, thus the 4 rather than 5 stars. First and most importantly, if you wear polarized sunglasses then the viewfinder and back screen in the landscape orientation darken to the point of being almost useless. That is the case at least with three pairs of polarized glasses that I have tried. My workaround for this is to look over the top of my glasses into the viewfinder and to turn the camera on end to view the back screen. I also own the Fujifilm X100T and the polarization is only a problem with that camera in the portrait orientation and I wish that the X-Pro2 was the same. I work in a lot of bright conditions and wear prescription, polarized sunglasses and wouldn’t put up with the inconvenience if the X-Pro2 wasn’t worth the effort- but it is. Secondly I find that the camera body runs warmer than other others I have used. The heating is noticeable primarily on the bottom plate and back screen during extended use. I contacted Technical Services at Fujifilm and they assured me that this is the normal operating temperature for the camera, but they have updated the battery to enable better heat dissipation.

The purchase experience was great, I would recommend Adorama. I have the X100 & X100S. The X-Pro2 is my third Fuji X, and the first with interchangeable lens. The graphite color looks just as good in person as it was in print, no regret with color choice. I chose the X-Pro2 over the XT2, despite XT2's being more capable. I will continue to count on my Nikons on scheduled shots. The X-Pro2 will be with me when every photography is not the primary objective.

I bought an X100F and fell in love with the photography process. The image quality was amazing and it was everything that I was missing from shooting other digital cameras. It really makes you feel like a photographer again. Well, after using that for about a month I really wanted to get some other focal length lenses so I decided to pick up an X Pro2 and the 35mm f2. I was hoping that it would be just as satisfying as shooting the X100F and I was not disappointed. Although I love the high sync speed and near silent shutter of the X100F, the X Pro2 is the perfect addition to my kit with the interchangeable lens system. The X Pro2 OVF functions very similarly to the X100F with some additional features to accommodate for different focal length lenses. And although it doesn't have a high flash sync shutter speed like the X100F, the natural sound of the X Pro2 is so satisfying. It's a great camera and I can't wait to add a wide angle lens and a telephoto to my set up. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't hesitate to by the exact same rest up.

I know a lot of people are saying the same thing so it sounds like everyone is regurgitating the same thing, but this camera makes photography fun again. I used to shoot film and then I got into digital with an early DSLR. For the past 7 or 8 years I have been using my iPhone because it was always on me and the image quality was decent. I started to pay attention to what Fuji was doing about a year ago and then sprung for an X100F when it came out. Within the first few weeks of using that, it was so fun that I really started to get into photography again. I ordered an X Pro 2 because I wanted the same shooting experience, with interchangeable lenses. I have not been disappointed. This camera is so fun and the image quality is great. both the X Pro2 and the X100F inspire me to pick them up and shoot.

To get straight to the point, the camera exceeded my expectations. I fell in love with the Fuji-X series at the release of the XT2. I've owned the X-Pro1, X-E1, x100s, X-T1. Since I started using these cameras, I wanted nothing more than to use these cameras exclusively for all my photography because there has ALWAYS been something special about the image quality as well the user experience. However, none of the cameras above were responsive enough. The XT 2 is great for video and pics but the xpro2 is truly a photographers camera. Long story short, the second I turned on the X-Pro2 I was blown away. I actually laughed. The new processor is incredible. -Joy stick for AF point selection is a game changer. -Viewfinder is beautiful (as expected) -24 MP. impressive. -Acros is gorgeous. -The button responsiveness just feels "right". -ISO performance is impressive. especially for APS-C -ISO dial presents an issue for me. Fuji will fix this via firmware to dedicate it to dial. If you've owned Fuji X cameras before, the X-Pro2 is a game changer. If you haven't and you're skeptical of performance, the X-Pro2 is there. If you're skeptical of the APS-C sensor ... I wouldn't trade the files I get from my Fuji cameras for a full frame. There is something special about this cameras sensor. Canon/Nikon/Sony (which I've used and owned Canon 5D Mk ii, Nikon D800, Nikon Df, Sony a7s ii). The pictures on this camera are impeccable.

If you're coming from a DSLR, this might take a bit of getting used to. I went from DSLR to a Fujifilm XT1 and even though the XT1 has a lot to love, the X-PRO2 felt like a serious upgrade. Fast, responsive, intuitive. The ability to shift to Optical and Electronic viewfinder is nice, but I rarely find myself using optical. Recommended if you're looking for a camera that will last you a long time and will be used every day.

Not a Fuji fanboy; I will say this is a great piece of gear. Simply stated, this sensor produces wonderful color and balanced images. Solid build. Some are annoyed by the ISO/shutter speed dial, but I'm not shooting events that require quick changes so I can take my time to make adjustments. I also don't shoot video, so I'm not bothered by lack of 4k. If you dig rangefinders and find Leica prices ridiculous, this is the camera to get. Minus one star for being a tad to pricey.

This is the third Fujifilm X camera I've owned. I can honestly say that the X-Pro2 is finally the camera Fuji has been claiming the other X series cameras has been all along. The auto focus and image quality is finally good enough to use for real photography / studio usage. I'm super happy Fuji got it right now.

What a camera! Fuji has really hit a home run with this one. Everything you can want for a travel and documentary camera. The lenses are amazing and you easily adapt legacy glass if need be. If you want the 'rangefinder' experience, then this is it. Perfect for travel and documentary work. Why haul around a huge DSLR and lenses when you can just bring this w/ a few primes. Fits great in a Tenba BYOB insert. All great things said, my only complaint is the viewfinder diopter which gets turned easily. Gaffer tape fixes this but a little annoying. Batteries could last longer too. Highly recommending if you are looking for a lightweight travel camera and enjoy the rangefinder experience. Cheaper than a Leica M.

I was a long time Canon shooter and bought a Fujifilm X-E1 when it came out. Though I liked the camera, it wasn't fast enough for me. I had since had an X-T1 and X-E2 which were much closer to what I was looking for, but not quite enough for me to switch all the way to Fujifilm. This X-Pro2 was the camera that made me want to move away from Canon and completely to Fujifilm. I also have the new X-T2, but I prefer shooting with the X-Pro2. The joystick to change focus points is a great addition and something that mirrorless cameras were missing. The image quality is incredible. Overall I find the AF speed to be very similar to the X-T2 and a noticeably quicker than the X-T1. If you are trying to decide between this camera and the X-T2, you will want to keep a few things in mind. Some people do not like the ISO dial as you have to lift it to adjust the ISO. I actually like it as it allows me to adjust with one hand. The X-T2 is much better at video. I like the hybrid viewfinder, but it is a lot smaller than the great viewfinder on the X-T2.
