Can take photos and vlog (vlog is a strong feature for X-S20). Easy to connect with phone or iPad to transfer photos. Made in southeast Asia. Need to buy accessories on your own (e.g., SD card, UV filter).

For someone moving from an old relic T2i/550D, this is a marvelous jump in image quality, features and tech. I have to admit, coming from a 13 year old camera is going to color my experience a little differently than other situations. For example, is the autofocus up to the level of other brands? Based on the info I've read/watched, no. But I'm experiencing such an insane jump from that 13 year old tech to the X-S20 that it doesn't matter to me. The best thing so far, which of course everyone raves about, is the ability to get good SOOC pictures. Could I tweak things to make them perfect? Sure. But is it nice to be able to download lovely looking JPEGs and just send them off to people without worrying? Absolutely. Excellent camera overall and I'm happy I finally moved on from my old camera.

The X-S20 is my first FujiFilm body, coming from the Canon M platform. This camera is very professional, despite FujiFilm marketing it as their entry level "vlogger" and "travel" camera. I also find it amusing how FujiFilm fans call this camera tiny and light. Yes, it is smaller and lighter than the XT-5. But it feels substantial and well built. It is heavier than either my Canon M50 or Canon M6 Mk2 that I traded in to get this. The photos out of this thing are stunning. Incredible dynamic range. I am very happy with the electronic shutter - almost preferring it. The film simulations are such a killer feature. To keep the camera "light," I have opted to stick with Sigma glass for now: 16mm, 30mm, 56mm and the Sigma 18-50mm, which seems ideal as a travel lens. For my needs, I don't think I need to get the heavier, larger Fuji glass. Those lenses are weather sealed, and the X-S20 is not. Also those lenses pair better with the higher megapixel sensors of X-T and X-H series, in my opinion. So essentially, I traded in my two Canon M bodies for a single camera with better autofocus, better color options, native USB-C streaming, active software and product support, a much faster app, and far superior video. I am testing 4K 24p and 25p to see if either of those are right for me. Faster frame rates make this camera get hot quickly, and I don't need to shoot at 50p or above for my hobbyist needs. While I waited 2 months for the camera, Sigma in upstate New York changed the mounts of my existing Sigma prime lenses so I could bring them over. The learning curve on this for me is steeper than the Canon M. It seems to have four times the number of settings. It's going to take a while to get comfortable. But I am so thrilled with my switch thus far. This camera goes with me on a long road trip through California and Nevada this fall. But right now, the camera is making me want to go out and shoot away with the Sigma 16mm. Haven't had that feeling since I got the Canon M6 Mk2 in early 2020.

By JERRY Z.
The Fujifilm XS-20 is a great versatile fujifilm, specifically for video and its film simulations. Definitely would consider if you don't want a super high end price but all the basic capabilities of a quality camera. It has been great for shooting video, and the picture quality is great as well. Easy to hold, not too heavy and great intuitive buttons and usability even for beginners. For video their is even a vlog mode which is great for shooting social media content.
With its compact and lightweight design, the Fujifilm X-S20 Mirrorless Camera is perfect for on-the-go shooting. It boasts an upgraded 26.1-megapixel APS-C X-Trans 4 sensor and X-Processor 5 for stunning detail and color accuracy. Compared to its predecessor, the X-S20 offers advanced video capabilities at 6.2k at 30p or 4k at 60p. It’s all-new Auto and Vlog modes will make it ideal for vloggers, content creators, and travel photographers who value both portability and performance. As an X-Mount camera, existing Fujifilm users will find the X-S20 to be an easy transition to improve their image quality.
Designed for both stills and video creation, X-S20 offers a powerful combination of creative features and cutting-edge technology in a lightweight body. The 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 5 imaging engine combine to deliver a blistering performance, recording video up to 6.2K and uncropped still images at up to 20 frames-per-second. A powerful in-body image stabilizer offers up to seven stops of compensation, plus battery life has been dramatically increased, managing more than double the images per charge compared to its predecessor. Vlog mode makes it simple to get pro-quality footage, while Fujifilm’s 19 unique Film Simulation modes complete the picture, delivering stunning colors straight out of camera.
• Compact, lightweight and powerful
• X-Trans CMOS 4 and X-Processor 5 – new processor for higher quality and better AF
• Large grip and Improved IBIS Up to 7 stops (+1.0 from X-S10)
• 2K/30P, 4K/60P 4:2:2 10bit internal recording.
• NEW Auto mode and Vlog mode.
• 3.5mm microphone/headphone jack and TG-BT1 accy for vloggers.
• Improved Battery Life
X-S20 offers the perfect blend of power and portability to turn thoughts and ideas into reality. Weighing just 491g (1.08 lb), with a deep handgrip that ensures a confident, comfortable hold with even the most sizable lens attached. X-S20 delivers stunning 26.1 megapixel images straight out of camera using Fujifilm's acclaimed color science, at up to 20fps in electronic shutter mode. Its 180° Vari-Angle LCD touchscreen makes selfie-style shots or wild angles a snap and intuitive layout enables creatives of any level to create as soon as their hands touch the camera.
X-S20 combines powerful sensor and processor technologies to deliver a blistering performance for stills and video—allowing you to capture the moment any way you need. For the first time in an X-S series model, the X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor is paired with the X-Processor 5 imaging engine, resulting in high-speed image and video processing alongside improved autofocus speed and accuracy. A new AF algorithm offers the same subject detection functionality as the range-topping X-H2S so you can move as fast as the world around you. X-S20 also features Auto Subject Detection AF, perfect for hassle-free creativity.
Thoughtful ergonomics and cutting-edge technology make camera shake and blurry imagery a distant memory with X-S20. The camera's large handgrip makes for a secure hold. At the same time, five-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) has been improved, offering up to seven stops of compensation, ensuring that handheld videography and low-light image-making are nothing to fear. The X-S20 represents a one-stop gain over the previous IBIS system found in the X-S10.
X-S20’s upgraded battery significantly enhances longevity, letting creatives create content on the go with less concern about battery life. Its NP-W235 Li-ion battery delivers an impressive 750 frames in Normal mode – more than twice the number possible with the previous model. Or, switch X-S20 into economy mode, and make up to 800 frames on a single charge.
As well as being a competent stills machine, X-S20 excels at video creation – whether vlogging, live streaming, or making full-length features. The new Vlog mode puts professional-quality footage in easy reach, enabling users to focus on products while unboxing or defocus cluttered backgrounds with a tap. A 3.5mm jack makes it effortless to connect accessories, including the optional TG-BT1 grip can be added for hands-free wireless operation. Stream 4K/60P footage directly from USB-C*, or internally record up to 6.2K/30p video in 4:2:2 10-bit color when story calls for it.
*4K output requires a 4K-compatible monitor, a USB-C cable of USB 3.0 or greater, and supported software.
