I love this camera I’m happy with my purchase I wanted to add a new camera to my collection a Leica or maybe the Canon RP But did my research and found that Fuji made a pretty good camera system so I got the X-T20 wi5h the @8-55 mm lens instead

I don't even know where to begin. This camera has changed the way I see the world. It makes me excited once again to make pictures and it's small enough to pretty much go everywhere with me. The quality of images coming from this 24 MP sensor is absolutely amazing. Its retro look makes it even more mind blowing when you realize this thing is practically a spaceship with more much tech than anyone really needs. Get it. You wont regret it

I am finding that the quality of build, advanced features, intuitive controls and image quality are excellent all around. It is an easy camera to learn and the various shooting modes and especially the film simulation are fun to experiment with.

An amazing brand, an amazing camera. For three years i was in a binge of finding out that camera to give me that image and functionality i was dreaming...the only thing i feel bad about is that i didn't try Fuji from the very beginning!

This is one of the best, if not the very best, digital camera I have ever had the pleasure to use. It is compact and light weight. It's loaded with technical innovations and I've been studying them, one at a time. The best part about it is the quality of the photos. Someone said the X-T20 and the rest of the Fujifilm line of cameras took photos that most resemble the older SLR film cameras. They were right about that. The pix have great color and a vibrant snap to them and remind me of shooting with Kodachrome. This camera is fast! Even with the 50-230 mm lens on it, the shutter speed is fast enough to catch fast action photos. Adorama was not fast getting the camera here due to the Passover holiday. When it got here, it was in perfect condition and ready to get to work right out of the box. I would recommend this camera and Adorama to anyone without any reservations.

I love it. This camera is fast! This is my first Fuji camera, and I am glad I switched. It is very responsive. I enjoy how easy it is to setup for a shot with the various knobs on top, and also the Q button for quick setting changes.

Switched to this mirrorless after 8+ years on a full DSLR body and it's been such a refreshing change! highly configurable and adaptable so long as you take the necessary time to understand the Fuji system - highly recommended for the traveler / photographer on the move who doesn't want to carry as heavy equipment.

I bought this camera for my niece, but after test driving it for about six hours, I'm jealous at how much superior it is to my camera. The first attribute that caught my attention was the speed and accuracy of the autofocus. It hit the mark almost every time, even with low-contrast subjects in dim light. I didn't test RAW output, but JPEGS were clean and usable straight out of the camera without additional noise processing even at ISO 12800. The XF 18-55 F/2.8-4 lens is surprisingly heavy, but its sharpness more than makes up for the extra weight. Button placement on the back makes it all too easy to inadvertently press them with your thumb, unfortunately. The rubberized finger grips on the front make it feel entirely secure even with just one hand. However, the battery life on this camera is atrocious, so definitely pick up a spare or two. All the thoughtful details and bonus features, like the on-screen focal plane indicator in MF mode, combine to make this camera a joy to use!

I bought this camera for my wife , who is a winter wildlife docent for the National Park Service at Point Reyes National Seashore. She expects to use it frequently this winter and is saving for a long lense as well. So far she is quite pleased.

This is a legitimate photography instrument: impressively current in its interfacing abilities (see Fujifilm remote control app, for example), offers manual control, and works with a solid range of interchangeable lenses from Fuji (Fujinon). I bought the X-T20 for inage quality, and received much more than that. Buying from Adorama -effortless checkout process, and quick shipping - was the cherry on top.

Coming from a canon family. Bought the Fuji XT20 for my wife during Blackfriday sale. Although it was still 1k it came with extra items ie: camera bag, memory card, editing software, lens cleaning kit, etc. First time Fuji camera owner. My wife is novice in camera and she uses it mainly to take pics of our family etc. the camera is easy to use and getting use to the menu settings is easy as well. This camera can also make you money if you know what you’re doing. The main thing we love about is that it is really SMALL /COMPACT DESIGN. This camera is the perfect size with the kit lens. Also first time buying with Adoroma. They had the best price and shipping was fast. Their packaging could’ve been better because the camera box was loose and bouncing around. Other then that I will Buy again from adorama.

I switched from a Nikon D3200 because I wanted to be with a company that is committed APS-C mirrorless technology. It’s full featured and can do more that I ever imagined. The pictures are great out of camera, and what you see is what you get. Autofocus is great and the 18-55 f2.8 is sharp. Lightroom is not the best editor for the RAW files, but there are other options that work better and cheaper. Excellent camera.

Excellent little camera that is built to be a complete package. AF is great, even in dark environments. Paired with the 18-55 2.4-4 lens, it remains portable and captures very pleasant stills especially in jpeg format. I tried using a grip attachment because initially it felt small in the hand, but after some getting used to it, I prefer the smaller size as it keeps the portability. Very much like how increasing the ISO doesn't distort the photo as much as other cameras, but makes a beautiful grain. Colors are punchy. Much more dynamic photos than the m4/3 sensors.

Having been a long time Nikon D7200 owner I was looking for a mirrorless backup camera that was light weight and high quality. Fuji has done a remarkable job with there X-T20 model. Full of customizable features and a lighting fast auto focus shutter, this camera meets and exceeds everything I was hoping for. Paired with the Fujifilm 18-55mm 2.8 lens, I have now have an excellent 24 megapixel camera that renders excellent color and tack sharp images. I can highly recommend adding this camera to any photographer's shooting arsenal.

As always Adorama came through with great service and prices. I’ve been wanting to switch from a Nikon D7000 to a mirrorless camera for some time now and finally decided on the Fujifilm X T20. I’m so glad I did, it is built strong and light so hiking with this camera will be a dream. The photos are great, colors just pop and focus is spot on. For the price you won’t find a better camera.

Such a great camera for the price. I am by no means a professional, mostly using this camera for amateur astrophotography and travel. The only gripe I have is that the grip is a bit awkward at times, but the photo quality is outstanding. Also worth mentioning that this camera shoots great video as well. The viewfinder is super handy as well. This was my first big camera purchase and I highly recommend it for someone looking to get into photography

Great camera for street photography. Paired with the 27mm f/2.8, it’s small enough to put into your jacket pocket. You can slip it out to take pictures around town without it being as noticeable as a larger camera and lens.

Had this camera on the wish list on Adorama for a while. Just happened to be notified by Adorama that the camera was at a new lower price! I have a Canon 70 D but wanted to try a mirrorless camera and something different than a Canon. The quality of the body is very study and I love the vintage look. Fun to use, it came at a fair price and takes great pictures. This is my first mirrorless camera haven't had to to long so still learning all that it can do.

The best part of this camera is the way how you can customize each and every button depending on how you want it to function. Images are crisp and clear even with the Fujinon XF 18-55mm lens kit. Will be exploring two other lens on this line before calling mine complete.

I am what you would call an enthusiast when it comes to photography but as I embark on this journey of traveling the world, I wanted to purchase a reliable camera that would grow with me as I become a better photographer. I purchased the X-T20 right before my first trip to London and Paris. I became more and more obsessed with the camera and it’s features each day. I apologize to those that are seasoned photographers and may be looking for a more technical review but I’m a newbie and just really appreciated the crisp/crystal clear photos. I am learning about the X-T20 each day but I am so happy with the over 500 photos that I took on my holiday. The camera also makes my life easier with the ability to transfer the photos to my phone or post to social media. I highly recommended this camera for enthusiasts such as myself. It’s an amazing camera and is advanced enough for you to grow with.

This is the Fuji I've waited years for
By DUSTIN C.
I purchased a Fuji X-E1 about 4 years ago. I liked it well enough, but it just isn't as capable as a DSLR. It was a great travel camera with significant drawbacks. When I had a child, the X-E1 had met its match. The EVF refresh rate was too slow for me to catch quickly changing facial expressions and autofocus speed was too slow for a quick kid running in and out of the frame. I still liked, and kept, the X-E1, and still used it for travel. But I purchased a Nikon D7200 for the family. ...

A stunningly great small camera! LOVE IT!
By Daniel L.
Having lusted for the capabilities of the Fuji X-T2, but turned off by its high price and bulk, I was excited to see the release of the significantly less expensive X-T20. Bought one when it first became available and have never looked back. It's super-small and lightweight. and it has REAL external controls! (Love mages and video with the Sony A6500, but just cannot abide the kludgy OS and the lack of understandable, easily accessible controls). Want to change the aperture? Turn a ring on t...

Advanced Imaging for the Discerning Enthusiast
The FUJIFILM X-T20 improves on the X-T10 with a 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor and a new Video option to the Drive Dial to enable instantaneous switching from still photo shooting to the video recording mode. The Exposure Compensation Dial now has the C position for exposure compensation up to +/-5 stops, while the LCD monitor uses a tilting touchscreen panel for intuitive operation at almost any angle. The X-T20 is also equipped with an Auto mode selector lever for selecting the fully-automatic Advanced SR Auto mode where the camera chooses the optimum settings for a given scene.
The new sensor's enhanced signal processing technology has even greater control over digital noise with an improved ISO sensitivity of ISO12800 available as a regular ISO option. At ultra-high ISO settings, the camera produces low-noise images, with deep blacks and smooth tones, delivering beautiful images even in low light conditions.
The FUJIFILM X-T20 also has a Grain Effect function for reproducing distinctive graininess seen in photographs taken with film cameras. The function can be set to Strong or Weak and can be combined with any of the Film Simulation modes. You can easily obtain the look of film-based photos, with the effect most obvious when the image is printed out. Photo enthusiasts will find the very best image results made possible by Fujifilm's proprietary color reproduction technology, developed through producing photographic films, that helps to reproduce warm skin tones, bright blue skies and rich green foliage, just as you remember seeing in real life.
Compact and Lightweight Body Makes Photography Fun and Easy
With the FUJIFILM X-T20, users will find a compact body that is both strong and light and made from magnesium alloy. The top plate features three precision-milled aluminum dials which give the X-T20 a premium feel and allow users to easily adjust the aperture, shutter speed and shooting functions while concentrating on picture taking.
The X-T20 features a 3.0" 1.04M-dot tilting TFT color LCD touchscreen monitor for both above head and close to the ground shooting. By combining the Touch Shot function with the tilt LCD monitor, you can get even more creative. Place the camera on the ground and use Touch Shot for a child's face or a pet's eye view or hold it above a crowd of people or an obstacle for high-angle shooting.
Easy Touch, Swipe and Pinch Controls
The LCD monitor in the X-T20 uses a capacitive touchscreen panel to facilitate high-angle shots, taken from above a crowd of people or an obstacle, as well as low-angle shots simulating the ground level perspective. Users can also opt to use the LCD monitor as a touchscreen to easily access shooting and playback modes. When shooting with the X-T20, you can use the touchscreen to select the focus area, focus on a specific point and combine the actions of focusing and shooting in succession. For playback, users can enjoy swipe to scroll through images, double-tap to enlarge, drag the image once enlarged, along with pinch-out and pinch-in sizing.
Improved AF Performance for Moving Subjects
The FUJIFILM X-T20 has an expanded number of focusing points, up from 49 in the previous model to 91 (up to 325 points). Approximately 40% of the imaging area (the center area containing 49 focusing points) is covered with phase detection AF pixels to form a fast and precise phase detection AF area that can be used in a variety of scenes.
By redesigning the AF algorithm from the ground up, the X-T20 can now autofocus more accurately on points of light, low-contrast objects and subjects with fine details such as bird feathers and animal fur. The read speed of the Contrast AF system has been doubled compared to the previous model to enable faster and more accurate autofocusing. During video recording, the AF point transitions smoothly to track a moving subject to create natural looking footage.
Users can choose from a Single Point mode, useful when accurate focusing on a subject is required and a Zone mode that allows them to select a 3x3, 5x5 or 7x7 zone out of the 91-point AF area. The centrally positioned 3x3 and 5x5 zones, in particular, deliver fast focusing thanks to the on-sensor phase detection AF. The Wide/Tracking mode is a combination of the Wide mode (during AF-S), in which the camera automatically identifies and tracks the area in focus across the 91-point AF area and the predictive Tracking mode (during AF-C), which uses the entire 91-point area to continue tracking a subject. This feature enables continuous focusing on a subject that is moving up and down, left and right or towards and away from the camera.
The X-T20 features an AF-C Custom setting, which enhances focus tracking performance when shooting in the Continuous AF (AF-C) mode. In the AF-C Custom setting, users can choose from five AF presets, including:
Preset 1 (Standard Setting for Multi-Purpose) is a standard setting that can be applied when shooting moving subjects as a whole. It is similar to the conventional AF-C setting and is selected by default when no AF-C Custom setting is specified
Preset 2 (Ignore Obstacles & Continue to Track Subject) is suitable when obstacles are likely to come into a selected focus area, blocking a subject
Preset 3 (For Accelerating / Decelerating Subjects) is best suited to situations such as motorsports, which involves a subject that makes major speed changes including rapid acceleration or deceleration. It is particularly effective when using linear motor-driven lenses capable of high-speed AF
Preset 4 (For Suddenly Appearing Subjects) gives focusing priority to a subject closest to the camera in the selected focus area, so as to swiftly focus on a subject that suddenly comes into the frame
Preset 5 (For Erratically Moving & Accelerating or Decelerating Subjects) is suitable for shooting field sports in which subjects accelerate or decelerate rapidly and also move erratically
