I know, there is a newer version of this camera line. But I still like the quality of images it produces with kit lens.

So I have been around for a while and used Nikon ff apsc, film, micro 4/3 Samsung NX. but always wanted a Fuji with the xtrans sensor. The fuji is kind of pricy but using the camera comparison tool I was impressed by its size. It is quite close to the larger panasonic M4/3 bodies. Whe it went on sale I could afford one. The camera is very well made and fit and finish are excellent. The image quality is superb, low noise, great color and lots of fun options with the film simulations. I am somewhat competent with pp but have found the baked in settings and jpegs very good. I wanted a small setup so got the 28 pancake and it is a really small package. I have other lens zooms and primes and all have been good. The miniscule 28 is crackerjack sharp and has a very pleasing bokeh. The menu system is good and the ergonomics are especially good for my large hands My panny GX8 is prone to me pushing buttons unintentionally but so far the fuji is better. I thought I would be sorry for not getting the XH1 for its larger viewfinder and inbody stabilization but it is all working out with the stabilized 18-55 and 50-200. I did buy an lens adaptor and tryed my Micro Nikkor G 60mm and while this lens seems small on my D700 it is a tank on the XT2. The focus peaking and magnifiyed view work well and image quality was great but I would just get the Fuji macro for its OIS and AF. All the items that I needed were on substantial rebates so I was able to set up a system at less cost than anticipated. I thought the joystick for moving the focus point would not be useful bit it is a joy to use. The dials for iso, SS, Exp Comp are really a joy to use and I seem to be able to make quick changes while looking through the viewfinder. Batter life is somewhat short but that is a drawback of most mirroless cameras. I walked 2 miles on the beach then climbed to the top of Big Sable point lighthouse hands and knees out the hatch to the catwalk and my NX300 had a deadbattery. I have carried extras since that adventure. So I am quite happy with my XT2 and the Fuji experience. The camera comes with a tiny hotshoe flash that works very well in a dining room with 9 foot ceiling and for tripping an Youngnou flash optically. Of course I have lost the PC cord dust cover, it was loose an I was to busy to tighten it and then it was gone. I will probably never use the PC. I let a friend take some photos with the cam he shoots oly and pentax and he said soon as he held it he knew it was a quality product. He was able to pick the cam up and just start shooting and did pretty good so I would take that as a plus for the ergonomics and ease of use.

The Fuji X-T2 with the 28-55mm lens is the perfect combination for the photographer that wants to travel light and make quality images. You can select RAW and/or JPEG stills or movies. A very versatile camera that provides the photographer with the options to go fully manual, shutter priority, aperture priority or fully automatic. Fuji has a variety of primes and zooms to add or you can use many of your present lenses by buying an adapter.

Great camera. Great package w/ awesome Domke bag. Awesome value as a package w/ all these free accessories. The Fujifilm XT2 is a nice upgrade to my XT1.

I purchased this when the X-T3 was released. I have another X-T2 and needed a backup. Fantastic camera, the upgrade was not worth the price to go to the T3 for me. Plus the decrease in T2 price was welcomed. I've been shooting these since they were released, quite fast to autofocus and perform admirably in the cold (I shoot in cold environments) though you will buzz through battery life (as with all cameras in the cold). The cropped sensor has not been an issue for me, the image quality is fantastic and you just have to be more mindful about composition in camera and limiting your cropping later if you plan to enlarge the images. If you take care to do this there is plenty of resolution to enlarge quite a lot.

I've been a Canon user. I first bought a used fuji xpro2 and loved it. I used it as a street camera. It was great. Since then, I really loved fuji.

I had previously bought the Fuji X-T20, had a great few months with that and loved the ease of use, light weight and great photos. When Adorama offered the the X-T20's big brother, the excellant X-T2 with the 18-55mm lens, awesome battery grip and normal grip for an extraordinary low cost of $1499, I jumped on it. I have been merrily shooting basketball and portraits since! The X-T2 has very good low light capability, even for the dimly lit gyms the basketball games have been in. I was worried about having to shoot an APS-C sensor at high ISO in order to keep the high shutter speed in the low light, however I have had no issues with the X-T2 and a little post processing. The photographs look great. The EVF is AWESOME! The battery grip has really made a difference in shooting both sports and portraits for me! The extra controls on the grip in portrait mode, the excellent grip itself and extra boost for high mechanical shutter speeds have been a God send. The battery grip also offers a great counter balance for larger lenses, like the 16-55mm F/2.8 and 50-140mm F/2.8. The Fuji X-cameras have an easy to use and intuitive menu that I have really enjoyed. The picture quality is on par with my Sony A7II (IMHO), and the Fuji lenses are superb! I enjoy the Fuji X-T2 and X-T20 so much, I look for reasons to use them weekly.

I usually use canon, and I wanted to make a change. So far it’s a camera that fits my need and makes me comfortable. I love that I can program it. I also love the old school feeling.

The X-T2 is simply amazing. A bit bigger and heavier than I expected, but it's due to the rugged body meant to endure extreme conditions. I fell in love with this camera. It helped me enter my foray into photography succesfully.

Fantastic camera! I'm coming from the DSLR camp, and could not be happier with the move. This camera has made me a believer in jpegs. I used to only shoot raw with my Pentax K50, and then spend lots of time in post. Now I shoot one of the several film simulations and only need very minor tweaks in post. But, if I want to shoot raw, the Fuji XT2 does a great job of getting it right in camera, so now, even my post time for raw has dropped considerably.Light and a breeze to carry...I now take more photos because I carry it nearly everywhere I go...that wasn't the case with my DSLR.

Fantastic camera and now with the new T3 coming out an incredible deal. In particular since the lenses were also on sale.

The Fuji xt2 is an upgrade from my xt-1 which I loved and the xt2 is even better. what I especially like is the way you can lock and unlock the dials to prevent you from accidentally changing one parameter while you're changing another. Also great service from Adorama. I was going on a trip and they gave me expedited shipping so my stuff would arrive before I left.

After a long time of using Nikon gear, I decided to divorce and switch into the world of mirrorless cameras. I have read everything I could find, I watched a number of tutorials and finally decided to buy a Fujifilm camera. What a tool and a big difference. After turning on and switching into the manual mode I started using this camera right away without meandering through menus. All parameters I was able to set like on an old rangefinder - with dials. I love it and started enjoying photography again. About XT-2 there is a lot of reviews online but what I like is that Fujifilm created the perfect tool for photography enthusiasts. Do you like landscape photography - pair it with a wonderful XF Fujinon lens and you have focus bracketing, live histogram, virtual horizon, and great comfortable EVF just to mention a few of great features. Do you want to try Infrared Photography - you just need an Infrared filter. Do you want to try macro photography - pair it with extension tube at the beginning and macro lens if this is what do you want to do. With this camera possibilities are endless, limited only by your creativity. What is important everything is in a small package so your spine will be very happy.

Excellent camera body. 18-55 F2.8 lens is good but it is not that sharp. Great walk around lens. Battery life sucks. Buy an extra batter if you are buying this camera.

Nice camera. Handles well. I'll need a little practice with tracking shots--not a big fan of EVF for that, but this seems to do the job.

The camera and other items showed up quickly and packaged very well. I took the camera on a backpacking trip with me and it performed wonderfully! The small size and light weight really made it enjoyable to pack along. It took me a little bit to get the dials and buttons figured out as it is very different from my Canons. I have not gone through all of the pictures from my trip yet but some that I have looked at turned out great!

Love this camera the more I use it. The picture quality is great. The light weight makes it a joy to carry and it has all the functionality I want in a camera. Love the dual card slots, the buttons and dials and the ergonomics of this camera. Would highly recommend.

I was looking to replace my Nikon gear with a lighter weight camera system and this filled the bill. Love how well it performs in the field and can do everything I expect of a full featured camera. The picture quality is great and the available lenses are more than adequate to meet all my needs. Absolutely love how much easier it is to take this camera into the field, even with extra lenses in my bag.

Long set-up menu, but once it is done all the basic controls are on rotary knobs on the camera itself. Very much like an old film camera and very easy to use. Shooting in manual is a breeze with all the controls at your fingers and the correct exposure viewed through the EVF or on the LCD. The first mirrorless I have had without in-body stabilization, but Fuji zooms have OIS and with primes you have to shoot like photographers have done it for decades. The images are superb, colors beautiful. Dual card slots are much handier than I imagined. Raw on one and jpeg on the other. The camera body is sturdy and well-built and ergonomically well-designed. Highly recommended.

Jumped ship from Sony because digging in menus and sub-menus became exhausting. My favorite features on this camera are the analog controls and easy customization of the buttons. I had it figured out in couple hours. With the Sony (a6300) I would end up googling how to change certain settings. Not so with this rig. Highly recommended.

The instruction book is challenging to navigate without an index. Also, in some places it is poorly written, sometime incomplete. Also, it is very small so sometimes my fingers activate the wrong controls. Its a learning process. On the plus side the photos are sharp, the view finder is bright and can be set up with a grid and a line across the center that turns green when the camera is level.

After years of DSLRs and medium format film for landscape work, I just got tired of lugging all that equipment, and wanted a dedicated hiking kit. The X-T2 has proven excellent for my needs. Paired with the 18-55 and 35/2 lenses, it’s an ideal multipurpose setup that disappears into a Camelbak with a book and snacks. Obviously, the images are excellent, as are all modern digital cameras, and I don’t hesitate to print to A1 or a bit larger. If the X-T2 is in the size and weight category you’re after, you won’t be disappointed.

I had the Fujifilm X-T1 for two months before I sprang for the X-T2. I love this camera and plan to keep it for a long while. It takes really sharp pictures and I love playing with the manual settings.

I purchased the X100F a few months ago and liked it so much I decided to get the X-T2 and possibly switch systems from Canon to Fujifilm. I like the X-T2 so much that I knew I had to make the change to a Fujifilm system. I sold most of my Canon gear. This camera is small, light and super sharp. So easy to use and no more deep menu searching.

This camera is fast and easy to bring to bear, and very easy to use. The colors are rich, and autofocus is fast. The dials make it really easy to quickly reconfigure the camera, though I did find that I would occasionally bump the exposure compensation dial, which doesn't lock. The camera is a little small for my hands, so I added the metal hand grip from Fujifilm, and it made the camera a lot easier to hold steady. It's a little heavy if you're used to a compact mirrorless, but the camera feels really good and solid in the hand. The silver accents are really classy and speak to the retro design of the camera. The WiFi functionality with the Android app was fiddly, and I found that I ended up not using it because it was so difficult to use.

amazing mirrorless camera.
By Neal M.
My experience with fuji started with an xt10. I bought it as an introduction to mirrorless cameras, something small and light weight with interchangeable lense. 3 months later I sold my Nikon D610 and all lenses and went full fuji with and xt2 and xt10. My first concern was the focus speed as the Xt10 is a little slow. Sometimes that's a good thing, slows me down a little. The xt2 met and exceeded my expectations in the focus speed/accuracy department. The Xt2 has an amazing focus system, fo...

A great mirrorless camera!
By Noel P.
Love this camera. As you can see in many reviews this is one of the best mirrorless camera. However, many PROS like me saw a yellow/green cast in the LCD Screen. Hope FUJI can fix that soon. Other than that, the images are beautiful!
FUJIFILM X-T2

For the first time in X Series history, the X-T2 supports 4K video. Film Simulation modes, used for still images, can be easily applied to X-T2's 4K video to produce premium-quality footage.
The X-T2's design is modeled after the 'central viewfinder style' of the X-T1, which has been popular since its launch in 2014. This proven stable form factor provides a camera that is perfectly sized with ergonomic dials laid out exactly where they are needed for excellent, intuitive operability.
The X-T2 is X Series' newest flagship model alongside the FUJIFILM X-Pro2. These two models deliver unparalleled performance in their distinctive fields, with the X-T2 excelling in portraiture, nature and sports photography, and the X-Pro2 ideal for snapshots and discreet documentary photography.

In its compact, lightweight and robust body, the FUJIFILM X-T2 delivers everything you need. A large, high definition EVF, easy to use dials, high-speed AF, compatibility with an extensive range of high-performance interchangeable lenses, Film Simulation modes that inherit the legacy of Fujifilm colors, unparalleled image quality and outstanding 4K movie recording, made possible by the latest sensor and processing engine, It is the X series perfected.
Outstanding image quality captures the beauty of the world around you
FUJIFILM X-T2 features the 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III, an APS-C sensor with no low-pass filter boasting the highest performance in the history of the X Series, as well as the X-Processor Pro high-speed image processing engine to deliver outstanding color reproduction and gradation of tones in both stills and videos with high ISO sensitivity and low noise.
Fast response to capture a decisive moment with any type of subject
The high-speed processing power and the use of improved algorithms have significantly improved the basic autofocus performance, improving the focusing performance on points of light, low-contrast objects and subjects with fine and delicate textures such as bird feathers and animal fur, which have previously been the weakness of phase detection AF. The FUJIFILM X-T2 also features AF-C Custom Settings for even higher accuracy in focus-tracking moving subjects. You can customize settings to optimize AF characteristics according to the type of subject movements.
Get back to basics by shooting through the viewfinder
Immerse yourself in photography through the large viewfinder with the magnification ratio of 0.77x. The sense of perfect alignment from the center of your body to a subject through the lens creates an illusion that you have become one with the camera for the ultimate photographic pleasure.
High quality video recording
Approx. 1.8 times the amount of information needed to produce 4K video (3840x2160) or 2.4 times required for full HD video (1920x1080) is packed in to create premium image quality with low moire or artifacts.
For photographers who demand precise operation in all conditions
Mechanical dials are provided for key operation, including the shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, exposure compensation, drive modes and metering modes. The settings can be adjusted even when the camera is turned off, so that you can be always ready for the next shot. For the prevention of operation errors, the dials for shutter speed and ISO sensitivity are equipped with a Lock & Release button, and are designed with extra height for operability improvement from FUJIFILM X-T1.
Grip specifically designed for the FUJIFILM X-T2 to bring out the camera's maximum potential (not icluded, VPB-XT2)
In the Boost mode, multiple batteries can operate at the same time to give a boost to camera performance in continuous shooting, shooting interval, shutter release time lag and blackout time, while also extending the duration of 4K video recording to approx. 30 minutes.
