The INOGENI HOST BUTTON operates with a simple, user-friendly interface. With a single press, you can activate the BYOM mode, where the laptop takes over as the meeting host. This is achieved by connecting the laptop via a USB-C cable or USB-B + HDMI cables. Once pressed, the button illuminates, indicating that the peripherals such as cameras, audio, or videobar are now connected to the laptop, ready for a BYOM meeting. A second press of the button will disable the BYOM mode, returning the host control back to the room PC, as indicated by the button's lack of illumination.

This device is designed for easy installation and aesthetic integration into modern conference spaces. It connects to the unit with a simple CAT cable (not included) and by default, configures the device to operate in BYOM mode. The button controls the device through a GPI interface and the device automatically detects new connections. There is also a physical button on the unit itself for installation with a technician.
