Freezing issues
My extreme dissatisfaction with the after-sales service for Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop, Windows 11 Home, Intel® Core? i7, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX? 3060 for Freezing issues, earlier with agents did disconnect AC adapter, all input displays and other, updated windows 11, plus other it use to work for few hours then it use to come back to problem, finally they said to send my computer to your repair center and after it was back same issues started again and again regards to Freezing. Seems repairs was not at all taken seriously. I ma loosing my time as well as business losses.

HP Victus 15L: Almost Perfect, But a Fatal Flaw for Power Users
The system was more powerful than I anticipated. I didn't realize the Intel Arc A380 was so amazing at AV1 encoding; it was also super cool, with hardly any heat, and it ran extremely well. For streaming and light gaming, this machine absolutely flies. It sips power, so you won't pay much to run it all day, and it excels in thermal management.
The RAM was stellar (CL22 Crucial), and the A380 held its own.
However, the CPU was the deal-breaker. When I started developing, Docker containers were choking, web engines were slowing down, and even Web UI was giving me issues. I discovered that HP has the CPU locked down with an outdated microcode-a firmware-level lock that prevents the CPU from running at its full potential. They won't allow it to be updated.
This is a huge shame. Had they allowed the CPU to be updated, I could have kept the machine and pushed its performance to meet my development needs. I had to return it.
If you're a streamer or a light gamer, you will love this PC. But if you need to push the CPU for demanding tasks like software development, the outdated microcode will hold you back. A powerful little machine handicapped by a poor design choice.

My experience with my new HP Victus 15L Gaming DT
So far, I am enjoying the speed and the fact that I can do so many things at once without worrying about the computer freezing or having the reboot all the time. I DJ, and my music library is steadily growing. Having so much storage is key for me.

This is the perfect computer for me.
When it was suggested I purchase a "gaming computer" I didn't know what that meant. I am a senior who does not "Game". What I am pleased with is how fast the computer works. It meets all my need and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good computer. I purchased on line through the HP website. Easy peasy!!

Inability for monitor to be recognized by HP deskt
Had a problem with my HP monitor being recognized by the HP Desktop. Connection was from HDMI to HDMI ports but I had to return the first desktop back to HP after numerous hours on the phone for return authorization. The second desktop received had the same problem, the desktop didn't recognize the monitor. Again after many hours on the phone, the last tech rep I talked with finally asked if there were another HDMI port and there was. Problem solved. Problem with HP was that there were NO instructions where a monitor, printer, etc. should be plugged. For the HDMI port, the website specs indicated 1 (one) port and not 2 (two)

HP 15L Gaming Desktop DID NOT DISSAPOINT!
I bought this for my son. I am a big fan of prebuilt gaming computers and I thought HP had the best affordable choices without breaking the bank! My son is a big gamer for 1st person shooters and I must say this computer runs so smooth and the graphics card is awesome. I will confess this is my first HP experience, but I am going to buy another one for myself in the near future!

The value leader in computers, not just gaming.
The price vs. performance of the Victus is about the best there is. I've been so delighted with mine. The only complaint I had was that there was just a single USB-C port in front. None in back. But, because the motherboard included an unoccupied PCIE-X1 port, I used that to add 4 more USB-C ports to the rear via a $25 card. I also added a second SSD drive and upgraded the memory from 8Gb to 32GB. It's a very good pre-built which you can upgrade yourself.

Sleek, modern design with cool feature once found.
Overall, this is an EXCELLENT device with an awesome, fresh design! Once you figure out that with the correct software installed, you can make the V on the front display in a different color with the option of 3 different modes (solid, pulse, quick pulse), Very awesome! It offers ample ports on both front and back, which makes it great for almost everyone. However, as someone who has grown up with computers and been using HPs since Compaq existed, there are a few things I expected differently or would have liked to see (now that I have it in person). First, I was surprised that by upgrading the graphics with dedicated DP/HDMI ports would mean the built in ones are covered/blocked/removed. I mean, I guess it makes sense, but having both options would have been nice. Also, knowing that I can add another drive to the inside is pretty cool, however, it cannot be another NVMe M.2 device (wanted a second high quality drive to install my games on). So, the back options are kind of 'meh' with 4 standard USB ports... The ports on the front are great and I plan to add an external Samsung Pro 980 with it's own case, but it will have to plug into the front, which means it will stick out, and take away from the sleek design of this tower. Had a couple quality USB ports been added to the back, the front could be kept clean for essentials or temporary drives. Aside from that, as with any device these days, extra software... Most can easily be deleted but it just takes time. So, in conclusion, for 99% of the consumers out there, this is an EXCELLENT device with an AWESOME modern design! I DO recommend this product!

Light it up.
Easily customizable. The only problem I had was with the graphics card upgrade. I needed to attach 4 monitors and needed to know the specific model and know which cables I needed to attach. They were not all the same and I needed to buy different cables. Other than that, the computer is silent, quick, and looks good when lit with the V lighting up. I always stick with HP. I bought a backup Pavillion a few months ago and accidently got the white vs the silver. So pay attention to that color when changing options. That Pavilion is also a great computer.

Great Multifunction Desktop
Bought this gaming desktop mainly for work, but wanted to see how the multitasking would perform. I absolutely am quite satisfied with it. My grandson hasn't had too much of an opportunity to play games but he is satisfied with performance.

AD SAYS BETTER THAN YOU WOULD EXPECT INSIDE. I WAS LIED TO. THIS IS UNEXCEPTABLE. THIS " VITUS " HAD WAY LESS HARD DRIVE CPU AND MORE THAN THE HP COMPUTER I WAS REPLACING THAT IS SEVERAL YEARS OLD. AN OUTRIGHT LIE AND NOW I'VE SPEND 20 HOURS ON THE PHONE TO SEND IT BACK.
I'M BEING CHARGED A " RESTOCK FEE " EVEN THOUGH I TOLD HP IN JUST 1 DAY I WANTED TO GET A FULL REFUND. WELL WITHIN 30 OR 1 YEAR WARRANTY I HAD.
I'VE BEEN A LOYAL HP CUSTOR FOR MANY YEARS. I'M SO VERY DISAPPOINTED. I BET HP GOT NEW CEO AND BAORD OF DERRECTORS THAT DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. CORPRORATE DISHONESTY DEOS SEEM TO BE AT AN ALL TIME HIGH THESE DAYS.
