Fantastic computer!!
Ordered this computer one year ago, and I couldn't be happier with it. Perfect for my home computing needs with great hardware and software. Totally satisfied with Windows 11 and the AI incorporated with it. People I have texted with at HP have all been great and very helpful. Perfect choice for me.

I did not purchase the Envy, but instead bought the TP01-3055xt. The Envy was a lesser machine.

HP ENVY Desktop PC
I powered it on, saw the HP symbol spin for 3 seconds and it stopped. The Pavilion I had before that lasted 2 years before this happened. Before that, I had a Pavilion that never powered on just like this Envy. My status as a faithful purchaser of HP products has been shaken to its core.

Great performance and value
Loaded mine with extra memory and two additional drives (Raid 1 with MS Storage Spaces). I did need to add a SATA cable and mount one drive to the (inside) front of the case to reach the available power cables. HP... the power cables should be a bit longer for more drive mounting options. Also, the front USB ports should be clearly labeled which ones are 2.0 and 3.0. Other than that, very happy.

Too many surveys before having a chance to review
I've been asked to do multiple reviews before I've been able to use the product for even 2 week. I have an HP laptop I love, this rating is 100% about being asking for the 4th time to review the product before I've even had a month to use it.

Replacement for old desktop
Purchased HP Envy to replace 12-year-old desktop computer. Very pleased with this unit. Very quiet and everything works as it should. Upgraded RAM to 32G and hard drive to 1T. Liked that it was customizable. Also installed 8G GPU. Plan to use for video editing but could also use it for gaming if I was so inclined.

I like it a lot! Good machine for most home tasks. Good support so far.
Really like this PC, was extremely well priced for Black Friday, really couldn't pass up. 13th gen i5, 256GB Western Digital PC SN740 NVMe, Micron DDR4 3200 ram. Built on a mature base with Reno motherboard.
I basically use if for office work, emails, internet and filing videos and photos. Works fine for me. I do not really play games but has a PCIe slot if you want to upgrade later. Enough ports for me including one USB-C on the front (does not output video though).
I did put in a 2TB HDD and it was pretty easy to install - the internals are really well laid out. HP has good videos on YouTube on undertaking basic servicing to the hardware. For the price I paid cannot complain too much, my only gripe is that the wireless KB and mouse I paid a little extra for seems to have intermittent connectivity issues, possibly related to the USB dongle... currently in conversation with tech support who have also been excellent and very responsive!

I keep making shortcuts on my desktop for certain things and they keep disappearing. I don't know why. Does this have something to do with the AI on this machine. Also, I can't get rid of the pin number that I need to sign in to every thing I do on this machine. It is a windows security deal but it is greyed out to let me remove this option. It is my machine and I should be able to do with it as I please. I have called tech support but the fellow I got only had 250 reviews, which tells me he is reading it off a screen. I need a tech that knows something about Windows 11 Home Plus and how to get rid of the Bing start up page also. I use Chrome and don't want to change while I am trying to navigate through a new computer. i need competent help that can speak in clear English as I have a hearing problem and yes my volume is turned up all the way. Now Please Help

PC for Hobbyist CAD
Bought this computer for hobbyist CAD work and general computing. So far works great. Speed and response time is very good. Is able to handle my light CAD use with ease. Rapid file loading. Rapid no skip model generation.

So far its really great! Like the fast startup and the ease of hooking it up. Also, its very space sparing and light. Fits easily out of the way. HP Envy is the way to go without going broke.

Generally happy with the purchase. Would like to have more info on components like max memory, number of PCI slots, number of M.2 connections. Also if there is a SATA connection. Would like to have more video connections also.

Good Machine For The Price
I bought 3 identical HP Envy Desktops for our business staff. I was able to customize much of the machine which allowed me to get everything I need at an affordable price. I only wish 2 HDMI ports was an option so we didn't require a VG/HDMI converter to use 2 monitors. The units came with Windows 11, which I like. We don't do much with graphics, and no gaming, we find the computer runs fast with our 512 GB Storage, 16 GB (2x8) Ram, and 30 MB cache.

Nice size, fast, love the color, just wish it had one more USB port on the back. The Power button is flush with the front, so you need to use fingernail to push the button. Power Button is just a design flaw, but otherwise it's awesome.
