Will love when/if I ever get it figured out.
I've had my granddaughter set it up; however, it is very different than my HP Envy I'm replacing. I haven't used it enough to give honest review. I do miss having the number on right side of keyboard.

Had to get a replacement for my old computer quickly
Most everything is great except the visual recognition doesn't work (I have to keep re-starting it) and I can't figure out how to play a DVD on an external DVD Player

The computer gave us the "blue screen of death"
I ordered the HP computer I wanted on 8/31/25. It was never sent.
Many calls and 1 1/2 months later I agreed to take a different computer.
It blew up. I am still waiting to return it. HP has not come up with a replacement computer and it has been TWO months!

Top end and versatile but a little fragile
As veteran HP user, I have constantly upgraded my laptop over the years (7- 8 year interval) to match my current demands. Hp always have product set to match my specification. After using the omni book 7 flip- 16 for 3 months now, it can say its a great upgrade of the flagship envy product. I don't really utilize the AI feature but nothing wrong with having it. The display is immaculate, SOO Quiet, built to last.
I have one flaw, although lightweight, the laptop is a bit bulky for 2-1 laptop. also, the casing are Very Fragile to scratch. This was VERY SURPRISING for an HP laptop.

Extremely Satisfied Customer!
Caught an exceptional deal with significant upgrades making this Ominibook Ultra 7, 2 in 1 more cost effective than any other in it's class! Some upgrades were simply not available from other providers. Set-up was extremely easy; pulled configs from previous desktop making the transfer of data fast and efficient! Not sure if I'll ever settle for less than 2880 X 1800 resolution again!

Love my OmniBook 7 Flip laptop
Setting up the laptop was so easy and very quick. I was able to install all my apps very easily and quickly. I love the laptop.

Upgraded after 10+ years on an HP Pavillion
I like the true AI integration and set up was easy getting all my apps/programs synced up. Have not really used the stylus much but "nice to have". Smooth and fast thus far.

Wonderful laptop with great touchscreen and great warranty given to me by HP for 3 years.
The Laptop is great. Touch screen is awesome. The only problem is it's too heavy. I bought this laptop from HP FOR ONE AND ONLY REASON IS they had pick and drop facility for 3 years in case anything happens to laptop. That's the great deal and that's what give me the trust to use this laptop.

Great battery life and good size
Great laptop with great battery life. If HP can add pen attachment. Side buttons to up and down the volume will be a great addition. Takes sometime to connect to Bluetooth headphones. Of course for a bigger price Apple does it in milliseconds but it takes 40-45 seconds to switch over.

The website was easy and my computer is a custom build and it did not take forever. I actually thought I would take longer than it did. So was surprised when it got to my house so early. Set up was a breeze, and they even somehow managed to backup most of my stuff from my old laptop. AAAAMMMMAAAZZZIIINNNGGGG! Saved me so much work! Thank you! I lucked out and purchased a great laptop during back to school deals. So at an amazing price! The process was stress free and if you have ANY questions they have the chat option and I definitely used that. They asked what I would be doing with my laptop and made sure the specs I picked would be the best fit. Would absolutely recommend!

Exciting for engineers
This laptop has been nothing short of amazing from the start. The unboxing was a pleasant surprise with a cool hinge in the cardboard (materials nerd here) and almost all fiber based. The runway to start using the laptop was minimal with a quick and stress-free setup. I love the flip function, the screen has great quality, and the pen adds useful functionality. If there's any friction associated with using this laptop, I have yet to find it; it's been smooth sailing.

Beautiful Functional Laptop!
I just love it. The setup was fairly simple on this laptop. The picture quality is fabulous. Love the feel of the keyboard. This is a solid laptop with great computing technology. I think I am having a little difficulty with Windows 11 and learning all its intricacies. But the laptop has answers for just about everything. I can't wait to get some of my thumb drives loaded up with some of my files from my HP desktop pc that I was unable to load Windows 11 on. Thank you, HP, you have done it again!

2 Stars because HP runs amazing deals.
Even with the 258V doing light tasks, the battery life wasn't too great, not big enough battery.
Way too heavy to be used as 2 in 1.
The worst of all was the basic included screen, even worse than my 2009 entry level laptop. I don't understand how in 2025 any manufacturer can put such terrible screen on the market. Tons of light bleeding and dull colors. At least was bright enough.
The 512GB SSD, slow.
It was nice and quiet, and wouldn't get hot at all, that part actually surprised me.
After a few days of use the screen was nowhere to be found. Disappeared from BIOS, HP PC Hardware Diagnostics, Device Manager, etc. The digitizer broke, no touch screen for me, that's why I ended up returning the laptop.

Solid Laptop
I purchased this laptop for nursing school. So far it has had a great battery life, very portable, and the screen is crisp, vibrant, and reactive. The intel i7 processor keeps things running smoothly and so far running multiple programs at once has not caused an issue. Great choice for a student!

Awesome system!
I've been a satisfied HP Customer for many decades. Great customer service and products. I did some technical research and decided to finally purchase a newer higher-end 2 in 1 laptop. (I waited until it went on sale.) It's been an awesome system so far!
It's not the fastest CPU or graphics (they cost a lot more but it's right up there!) Hopefully, Intel keeps updating their drivers and software because this is an evolving platform that will do what I need it to do and much more for a very long time. Basically, it's a lot of bang for the buck! (I'm not a gamer or into influencing others with online videos and stuff so I don't need the fastest everything anyway - lol)
Some of the cool technologies that I liked in this configuration were:
? Intel Core Ultra 7 256V CPU with their Integrated Intel Arc 140V GPU (8GB) (it's the Lunar Lake architecture built for ultra-portable, low power laptops). It's one of the newer System-on-a Chip (SoC) setups that combines the CPU, GPU, NPU (Neutral Processing Unit) for AI acceleration, cache and connectivity into a single chip for better efficiency.
? A beautiful 16" 3K (2880x1800) OLED multitouch-enabled display which is Eyesafe Certified.
? 16 GB of fast LPDDR5x-8533 MT memory
? A newer 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD storage card
? Faster wireless technology (Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4)
? More than enough External I/O ports than I'll probably need.
? Fast charging and the battery lasts a long time.
Overall - it's been an exceptionally beautiful, responsive, and fun to use system. No problems so far. It's probably overkill for what I'm planning to use it for but buying this newer technology will help to ensure it will last for a very long time.

Purchased all the upgrades! But the Asus Chromebook is less glitchy for tablet mode viewing.
Solid device, remains cool after hours and hours of use. But... Tablet mode glitches during viewing on FULL SCREEN mode -- it can become unresponsive to touches and/or requiring to revert back laptop keyboard to release FULL SCREEN viewing. Not smooth like an Asus Chromebook for this feature.

Disappointed
To be honest, the laptop has already gotten stuck a few times. Unfortunately, I am out of the country and don't have access to USPS to return it.
Overall, very disappointed with the purchase.
I would have bought a better model or another Laptop maker

Tragically flawed
The computer's specs are just what I wanted, but it seemed to suffer from the same problem that my previous computer had: the cursor would jump around for no obvious reason. I made a mistake in buying an HP computer because my previous HP Envy 2-in-1 laptop displayed the same problem. I returned the OmniBook and am happily typing this message on a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 16" laptop.

Nice laptop
I'm not as tech savvy as I used to be, but this laptop is nice. It's slim, not too big, and fast. The screen is clear. The touch screen works very well. Still getting used to the flip function. It's a nice replacement for my 12-yr old laptop.
